Bachelor Competition For Attention
Did anyone else find it really interesting that almost immediately after the news broke that Jason Mesnick had asked Molly Malaney to marry him that the previously embarrassed Melissa Rycroft made her first wave in the news in months by saying she had found the perfect wedding dress. Seriously had anyone even heard a peep from Melissa since she was on Dancing With The Stars? Me either and then all of a sudden Jason and Molly announce their engagement and Melissa pops up on Good Morning America this morning and says "Look at me. Remember? I'm the one who got dumped on national television and now I have a wedding dress because I am getting married too. Talk about me please." Yes, Jason screwed you over and yes ABC probably did it for ratings but can we move on now? Please.

who? and why would gma give her airtime? in all, good for the pr peep that snagged the slot for her. not too shabby considering no one knows or cares wth melissa is.
Who are these people? Why would you care that some fame whore is grasping at the last shreds of her 15 minutes. And why is this show even still on the air?
I thought that too at first, but I now think it's all an ABC thing. They just announced the new bachelor last week & I think the reaction has been less than stellar. In addition to Melissa there was also this article on People.com about Jillian & Ed today, something about lingerie that made me throw up in my mouth just a little. A complete joke. I also love how Jason & Molly managed to take a completely professional shot of themselves - good enough for magazine publication - by using their own camera on a tripod right after their engagement. Yeah, right.
Melissa does "special" assignments for ABC or GMA. I'm blame the network.
you think that's bad? I heard her T-mobile commercial on the radio today. she carries her G1 for "all her wedding plans." I about died laughing cuz I thought...wow if that's not obvious, I don't know what is. She needed to just fade to black with some class and dignity.
