I Bet Steve Phillips Will Keep Cheating

I have always wondered if they wrote a sequel to Fatal Attraction whether Michael Douglas's character would ever have another affair. You would think from watching the movie that he probably wouldn't, but I always got the feeling that what he would do next time is just make sure he checked someone out first to make sure they were stable before he had an affair with them.

According to The NY Post, the former GM of the NY Mets and now an ESPN analyst, Steve Phillips had his own Fatal Attraction moment but I'm not sure it will stop him from cheating either. While GM of the Mets, Phillips admitted that he cheated on his wife all the time. He eventually lost his job and the team was sued for sexual harassment by a former employee who Phillips had been seeing. You would think that would stop him, but instead Phillips found a 22 year old woman who worked for ESPN and started having sex with her. When the 46 year old Phillips decided to break it off, his 22 year old lover Brooke Hundley (above with Phillips) began making threatening calls to Phillips' wife and started driving around the house on a daily basis. One time Hundley even wrecked her car when she was trying to speed away after being spotted. Oh, and she also signed up for a Facebook account and pretended to be a teenager who started flirting with Phillips' 16 year old son.

Phillips who is being sued for divorce by his wife was suspended for a week by ESPN for his behavior. Oh yeah, that will show him.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that woman was a man. I wanted to say meaner stuff, but I'm restraining myself.

Wow, if I was his wife I would be EVEN MORE pissed that he cheated with something that looked like that?!?!

First of all, he's orange. He's orange! (I'm screaming this in the God Warrior voice, by the way.) Get out of my house if you're orange-sided!

When you cheat on your wife with girl 1/2 your age, shouldn't she be hot? WTF??

MontanaMarriott said...

Its funny but it always killed me when I would watch some awful talk show like Jerry Springer and the mistress was a MONSTER compared the person cheated on, it was such a WTF moment, I just never understood it, lol

Maybe she's uninhibited and enthusiastic in bed?

I was thinking the same thing, figgy.

Men cheat for dumb ass reasons.

But the one common thing that will get them to cheat with the ugliest girl in the state... offer him free head with little hassle and he is yours.

It is never about love... it is always about the free head.

*girl said...

Most of the guys I know who cheat almost always cheat with the uglies. Easier to get and easier to hide, not to mention they're often quite "grateful". That's if they cheat and stay.

Those who cheat and leave do as Jax suggested and trade up. It's an interesting pattern and happens more often than not.

At first I thought that was Steve Perry. Oh Sherrie, indeed.

Men like this love the homely girls. They have zero self esteem and are so grateful for any affection that they are SUPER easy to manipulate. And frankly, I've found that less attractive men go the extra mile in bed so it stands to reason the same is true for less attractive women. He's a user, and she was easy to use.

I bet every one of you people knocking her would shatter any mirror you were near.

I think it is interesting that almost all the comments on this story are about her appearance.

Seriously, people?!?! What about the fact he was cheating on his wife AND had a child at home AND is an a-hole with no morals?!?!

If you want to pick on his 22 year old lover, fine, but maybe it should be the fact that she took part in this affair.

Rant over :)

Barton Fink said...

I think the comments belittling her appearance are needlessly mean -- but I suspect that people are sickened by her letter. If you read through it, she comes across as a bitter, cruel, sadistic, snide "bee word," and so while I would generally tell people to watch it with the attacks on the unbeautiful amongst us, I will instead say that this whole situation is yucky.

Oh, and he's ORANGE! HE'S ORANGE!!!

thank you melody, i was thinking along the same lines.
usually the posters here are a little less shallow.

I hope his wife laughs all the way to the bank. Surely she'll find a better man then her badly tanned hair-club for men husband.

This guy is FORTY-SIX?!? He's a year younger than me! I say this with all honesty - I do not look old like that.

It would seem if men cheat with a 22 year old, she'd normally be hot. But really, 22 year old sex is much more enthusiastic and if he can motorboat her, that's all he cares about.

chihuahuense said...

not to sound horrible and shallow and all that, but I seriously have tears in my eyes lol'ing @ Mr. Pink.

I think that what *girl said is very interesting though. Makes sense...if you are the cheater, you want someone that doesn't put up a fight to be hidden, and pretty girls will demand that you leave your wife for them. However, I would like to see this tested, as everyone has so *horribly* mentioned, this girl is not a looker, yet she was quite demanding.

Although they are both trash for being cheaters, I would hate to be 22 and thinking "if this guy would JUST leave his wife, then I would be eternally happy". Hopefully she'll learn.

Oh, and not to just co-sign what everyone else said, I also think it's true that the REALLY REALLY pretty people don't try as hard.

Sue Ellen Mishkey said...

I laughed at all the mean comments people made about her appearance and I'll tell ya, I don't feel too bad about it. Sue me.

The best one was the god warrior reference. If you believe in orange, you can stay here, if not GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!

Most of the people making the remarks probably would lose a beauty competition against Shrek.

It's this ongoing fantasy so many have that a "successful" man can get sex easily from hot women. If we're going to bitch out the girl, I'll point out the guy is your basic boring suit monkey. The reality is that woman could sleep with any man in a bar on a Friday night if she's the only one around. If that guy went into a bar with a roomful of women, he might as well be at a lesbian bar for all the women would care.

How that poor girl ended up with that boring jerk is what I'd like to know.

Melody the First said...

I should add that he's a suit monkey with an Oompah-Loompah chaser.

White Steve Phillips, one of ESPN's Baseball Tonight analysts, carries on an affair with an underling half his age, for months. Gets a one-week suspension from ESPN.

Black Harold Reynolds, a former ESPN Baseball Tonight analyst, gives a hug to an ESPN intern after a working lunch that she deems "inappropriate," and lodges a complaint with ESPN. Black Harold Reynolds is fired. ESPN says he was fired because of a pattern of sexual harassment. Reynolds sues ESPN for $5 million. ESPN settles out of court for seven figures.

One should also note that Phillips is almost universally reviled by baseball fans as a complete tool. Mets fans hate him as well for his stupid trades.

Wow! If Black Harold Reynolds got $5 mil I wonder what Orange Steve Phillips will get?!?!?!!?!? Poor girl, although I think her payout will be huge too! And the wife laughs all the way to the bank. Good for her!
