Pleasure P The Child Molester

Many of you may have never heard of the group Pretty Ricky. They had a number one album back in 2007 called Late Night Special. Many more of you probably have no idea the former lead singer of the group is a guy who uses the name Pleasure P. Pleasure's real name is Marcus, but he is lucky apparently that he is not in jail for child molestation. A site called Word On The Streets broke a story yesterday which seemed to indicate that Marcus was kicked out of the group for molesting kids.

Apparently Marcus had molested a four year old child and was about to molest another when the police came. The four year old was Marcus' nephew.

The story was discovered because the attorney hired to defend Marcus has a daughter who is also the attorney's assistant and blabbed on her Twitter about it.
Well after the story broke, the site Straight From The A managed to get their hands on court documents (above) which show that Marcus is supposed to stay away from the child he molested. That is probably a good idea. A very good idea.

The interesting thing about this is the group was asked why Marcus left the band. Although they didn't come out and say he was a child molester, they wanted to make it perfectly clear that he was fired from the band and did not quit.

"Unfortunately due to Pleasure P’s lawyer filing an injunction against us from speaking, we are not at liberty to speak about the case.” How ever we will let it be known that we did kick him out of the group, he did not leave on is own free will. We did a deal with Atlantic via Craig Calman that we would let him out of the group if they bought out his contract with us and Blue Star which is the official label of Pretty Ricki. We are not at liberty to discuss why we kicked him out of the group. ~ Pretty Ricky"
