Tom Cruise Changes Publicists - Not Going To Help
For the longest time Tom Cruise used his sister as a publicist. That was Before Oprah, or as I like to remember it B.O. Anyway, after the couch jumping and then general decline of his box office appeal, Tom switched from family to some professionals. Well, in the past week, Tom switched again. According to Entertainment Weekly he picked Amanda Lundberg from 42 West. What makes her so special? The two of them previously collaborated on the publicity for Valkyrie. Oh, well that was a box office smash so this is sheer genius by Tom. I don't understand why he can't use his Thetan mind powers and make people like him.
MAYBE HE CAN COME OUT WITH JOHN....THAT WOULD BE A HEADLINE....
ReplyDeleteI wanna say that maybe not many publicist want to work with TC. He more than likely cannot get top shelf publicist even if he's a well known actor.
ReplyDeleteI want to like him. I still like his movies. I wish he weren't nuts.
ReplyDeleteIf he starts showcasing his Thetan mind powers, then everyone will want him to do them when he goes to interviews, premieres...and he isn't a show off
ReplyDeleteah, 'valkyrie.' that movie made me laugh so hard. i finally understood how germany lost the war. their whole fucking army was british and american!!
ReplyDeleteWow, is ENTY suggesting Seymour Plow-Me is Tom Cruise? It would be CRAZY if he wanted out of Scientology.
ReplyDeleteOh, I guess not, looks like Seymore may be Travolta, but TC could be a clue to that.
ReplyDeleteOr he could get one of his cult ministers to "touch him" and heal any publicity or box office problems that he's having.
ReplyDeleteIf it works for the sick Haitians than Tom should lead by example.
Dear Tom,
ReplyDeleteYour problems aren't the result of a lazy publicist. I hate to be the bearer of bad news(ok, maybe I'm enjoying it just a little), but you are crazy. You need help. No Tom, not more auditing...but drugs, strong medications, and maybe a stint in rehab 'cause it seems like that's where all the cool kids are hanging out today.
Sincerely,
Those who no longer find you appealing
The worst career mistake he made was firing Pat Kingsley and letting his sister take over his PR. Kingsley kept his crazy at bay, made him keep the Xenu-talk at a bare minimum, and basically was responsible for his fooling the public for as long as he did. The second he got rid of her, he started jumping on couches with crazy eyes. It was like the flood gates opened. His image is never going to recover, too much about the real Tom is now known.
ReplyDeletef-ck him and his crazy cult. too little too late in elevated sneakers.
ReplyDeleteLOLOL@MommaBear, that is hilarious
ReplyDeleteEnty, are you being sarcastic about Valkyrie? Cause I didn't think that movie made it big.
Enty, Enty, Enty...
ReplyDeleteYou know as well as the rest of us that Tom can't use his Thetan mind powers to make us like him because he's too busy "Touching" all those "healers" they're sending to Haiti.
And when he's not "Touching" them, he's helping to save the world from all the SP's that deny his Thetan powers and mixing the Koolaid for those who believe him!
Okay, after this post, I'm going to invest in a shelter somewhere because I have undoubtedly incurred the wrath of Cruise...and I'm quivering in my boots at the thought. (quiver quiver shake shake)
enty, his sister only did his pr for a year or so. pretty much the year he went crazy. he had a long time publicist before that.
ReplyDeleteYep he had a normal publicist, then started to get cray cray when his sister jumped on board.
ReplyDeletesorry, tommy girl. the whole world has seen you for the fraud you are and no publicist in the world can help you now.
ReplyDeleteI've never understood the appeal of Tom Cruise. He's got a crooked nose, crooked teeth, and crazy eyes. I was a teenager when he hit it big with Risky Business and my thought was "what's so special about him?"
ReplyDeleteI agree Jingle Bells. I always thought he was creepy looking, even at the height of his fame.
ReplyDeleteHahaha@Mommabear
ReplyDeleteSomeone should have that talk with him
I grew up in the same town where TC went to high school. He was not popular, but one of those losers who follows after the popular kids, laughing too much at their jokes and trying to be accepted by them. Didn't work-everyone found him grating and pathetic. What a shock when he was suddenly famous and popular! It's funny to see that he really hasn't changed at all. Scientologists really do find the weakest minds to control!
