Brangelina Suing News Of The World
Although Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wouldn't have a hope of winning a lawsuit in the US for this kind of article, they are suing News Of The World for the infamous split story of a few weeks ago.
Their London based attorney told Sky News, "The News of the World has failed to meet our clients' reasonable demands for a retraction of and apology for these false and intrusive allegations which have now been widely republished by mainstream news outlets. We have advised them to bring proceedings which they have now done."
I love how he takes a little dig and calls News Of The World a non mainstream news outlet. Chances are they sell more papers than most main stream news outlets. Since you almost always win these cases in the UK, Brad and Angelina will get a nice apology and a token sum of money and business will continue as usual. At least they are making some kind of effort.

First of all, that second picture has one of the most odd looking kisses I have seen since Reese and Jakey at the Lakers Game...*sigh*
However, having said that. I would like to say that while I do not care for these people, I whole heartedly agree with suing if they are,in fact together. If for no other reason than the fact that thier older children are undoubtedly aware of the gossip at this point and it would send a strong message to them.

They're right about everyone picking it up. At the store a couple of days ago all the gossip mags had them and their "split" on the cover. Not to mention the abuse allegations. =/
why is only maddox out with them lately? where are the other 5? can see leaving the twins home for the game, but why leave pax home? he's 6, zahara's 5, shiloh is almost 4. You would never know they had 6 kids. It's like the others are rentals for pics.
to me, at this point, they seem to be trying super hard to make sure cameras catch them being kissy-kissy. i don't know if they are going to stay together or split, but i do know they are making me ill.

their pics look too phony. too staged. you have been together that long, just come from the hotel, home together, don't need to do that. That is what people are questioning. TOO MUCH.
I don't know why anyone cares about Brad and Angie. MAYBE I would be slightly interested if we weren't constantly bombarded with breathless "exclusives" and the like. It's complete overkill and when the media pulls that crap, I go the other way and pretty much boycott the people that they are shoving down my throat.
Besides, I've never thought Brad was even slightly attractive, and I cannot stand to look at women who go after married men. The kids are cute and all, but I don't care about them either. I guess I just wonder what the fascination with these two is? Can someone maybe clue me in here, because I am completely lost.
I still believe that they are breaking up. They didn't go to the Golden Globes, but once this story hits, all of a sudden Brad is presenting at the DGA's as support for Tarantino? Oh, and he and Angie are "love dovey" there. Now this SuperBowl game? And Brad's eyes look open during that kiss too. I wouldn't believe anything these two (or their reps) say since 1) Brad claimed to stop smoking ganja for the kids, but Tarantino admits that they smoked hash when discussing filming IB 2) Brad denied he was divorcing Anniston all the way up to the announcement and 3) they both said that they didn't start their relationship until AFTER the divorce, but Angie then claims that they fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Whatevah

If they win this lawsuit what if they break up the following day... Is there a time line associated with this kind of story/libel?
On a separate but related note... did any of you read the "Angelina wants to be like Jackie or Diana" article in yesterday's Daily Mail... while this may also be false, it had some juice and reads more like an episodic drama than real life.
I don't think its' fake. Saints fans are pretty happy right now and Brad is reputed to be a fan.
As for the other kids, I have heard Pax is a handful with lots of anger issues. Maybe he is hard to take places and maybe the girls aren't fans of football. They may all be at their house in the french quarter.
Actually Jax, the Brange cares a lot about New Orleans, if not football itself. I don't know if they were so much "caught" as just not giving a flying f*ck whether people saw them. They've done a lot for New Orleans.
If there is no truth to the rumours, why not just ignore them and go about your business? Suing a gossip mag for gossiping seems like a waste of time if you ask me. Unless, of course, you need the attention. Hmm.
yeah, remember the pics of Brad and Jen with their arms around each other strolling on the beach two days before their split annoucement? everything in these people's lives is just soo staged. And there is no way that nannies are not raising those kids. I bet Pax has anger issues. Kids who are just props usually do. just saying

i don't know/care if they are together or splitting up. i do know one thing, when the steelers won the super bowl last year and a few back i was hugging and kissing everyone around me LOL. maybe the kiss was after a big play ????

Probably they're suing because they are fed up, or because the kids are starting to hear or read things. I think this will be the end of it.
Her whole body screams tension and that kiss looks like two people in completely different places. His eyes are open and it looks like he is sneaky watching the game play. He's grabbing her head like it's going to fall off while she is melting into it but grabbing his arm like he will leave.. It must be tough to live in a PR bubble like this. I can't imagine how I'd feel if my kisses were dissected in the world news.

Why sue? Well...we've all had someone lie about us. Maybe at school or at work, or how about a partner or ex partner that said you did something awful. It isnt hurting anyone but, its still pretty upsetting and pretty unpleasant to think there are terrible lies about you out there.
This is worse, NOTW makes money by telling lies. It was probably their best selling issue yet. It gives the stars negative attention when their Negative attention has a huge effect at the box office.
Their kids are effected not only by seeing it but by the questions being yelled to their parents as they walk by. Have you seen the mob scenes created? This would possibly explain why only Maddox is out lately. Most importantly it gives NOTW a precedent that basically says, its OK to lie about people, to use them in order to make money. As long as its not true, it will be ignored.
I just find it weird that they haven't sued any other time when the stories had vague "sources" of them at dinner, etc. but now that a story mentions something specific about legal documents then it is an all out PR assault and lawsuit. Something in the milk ain't clean. The more they try to "convince" me the less I believe.
