Justin Bieber On QVC - A Chance For A Mike Rowe Moment

Most performers and entertainers wait until they can't sell their records the regular route before hitting a shopping channel. Usually people at the top of the entertainment food chain don't usually go selling to home shopping channels. The reason? Well, it kind of diminishes their brand. That's why you you see people like Diddily Piddily selling there. He isn't worried about his brand, only making money. Justin Bieber on the other hand seems to have done pretty well for himself without the need to go on QVC. That being said he has gone on there and last night performed songs from his new CD and QVC also had a very special offer for all the 14 year old girls who were "borrowing" their parent's credit card to buy it. They got a free bonus DVD. I know, I know, it's crazy. Anyway, I'm sure Justin will be back in a few years when his voice has changed and he has been ravaged by a merciless record company and he is bankrupt and is going a new route and trying to relive his glory days right back on QVC while he chain smokes and hits on the hosts. That is the kind of person I like to see on QVC. Not some kid who is barely out of puberty.

Anyway, all QVC stories come with a complimentary, Mike Rowe moment. You really can never have enough of those. Today we have Mike Rowe selling Dickies and in the second video selling cherubs.

I am not a parent so I dont know Bieber's bubblegum brand of music but everytime I see him I think he looks like a babydyke.

He can't sing for shit. This is his best option for a future career.

14 yo girls don't watch QVC, do they? I'm sure their mother's will scoop this up and hand it to their princesses who will promptly scowl "This isn't Flogging Molly!" before using Bieber's face as a coaster.

It was cool when QVC had James Taylor and Hall and Oats on.. but this kid?

I guess I have finally made it into the "gee I am old now" phase of my life, I had to ask my 10 year old daughter who this kid is.

I've never been the "crazy for merchandising fan"(and I grew up in the 90's boy band era), I never really understood the hype about these lame idols.

I know this is a horrible thing to say about a 14-year-old, but it's like you can watch him becoming douchier with each photo. YOU'RE NOT ZAC EFRON!

Does the brat know he's flicking a V sign? It's the Brit equivalent of giving the finger. If he's trying to do a peace sign, that should be palm forward.
Tsk, these kids today....

Attention!

It is with great sadness that I raise my head and admit that yes, he is Canadian and I am so very sorry on behalf of my countrymen, that you have been harassed and inundated with the likes of this 'babydyke who can't sing for shit."

again, our bad.
as you were.

The Mike Rowe clips make me wet my pants. OMG, I wish I had watched QVC back in the day when he was on.

I'll never forget when Madonna was on QVC hawking her children's books. I thought she had finally sunk to the depths of despair with that one.

All together now: "Blame Canada! Blame Canada!"

Apology accepted, Jax! j/k

Enty, you may bring up QVC daily if it brings us Mike Rowe. Makes you wonder how many "Mike Rowe moments" there are! Although nothing beats him molesting the nun doll.

(I honestly think I'd rather listen to Nickelback than Baby-er.)

Who exactly is that little boy?

The video's don't work at work. I'll have to wait till I get home for the Mike fix.

I can't stand this kid. What, exactly, does this little 12 year old boy know about women and relationships (other than what the record label execs tell him to sing?)I just think that's so stupid to be singing about that kind of crap. Stick with what you know, sing about playgrounds and recess and stuff like that.

Enty, I love that you love Mike Rowe.

@stigs84 Who wants to listen a song about this douche being locked in a gym locker all day? Hmmm... Whole new demographic for him. :)

I am pleased to say I have honestly never heard a Justin Bieber song, and from the sounds of it, it's a good thing.

Canadian, Jax? Man. Why you gotta TELL everyone??

i got a "free cd" not too long ago in a shipment of bunny meds and stuff from an online place a do a lot of business with. somebody i'd never heard of, i think it was country (i mean this was a serious place, not petco or a commonly known place), no mention of it on the invoice.
we're scared to take the wrapper off.

Enty! Come to West Chester and I'll take you on a tour of QVC. Everyone here either works for them or Vanguard (or they've been laid off) its kinda a weird cult... lol

But yeah! come visit!
