Tiger Woods Interview

As much as I dislike Tiger Woods right now, I do think it was decent of him to give a no boundaries interview to ESPN. Granted the interview was limited to five minutes and after the first few questions were tossed aside as personal, I really didn't hold out much hope for anything substantial. There really wasn't. With the exception of confirming the outpatient and inpatient rehab, not much was left to say. The only questions he really seemed to answer were those about golf. Understandable. I also thought he was at least smart enough to recognize that lots of people may not clap for him when he plays next month.

  1. Anyone Else notice that when asked why he married Elin he said because I LOVED her (not love....just a thought

  3. South Park's take on Tiger was hilarious. Why do rich and powerful men screw around? Because they can. Man up, Tiger! Stop the crocodile tears! Admit you're only sorry you got caught! Now go play some golf.

  4. I love the texts he sent one of his mistresses. He goes from saying really raunchy things, to talking about club sandwhiches, to golden showers within minutes.

    Hilarious.

  5. Please, it was just more of the same. Tiger controlled everything, from the location of the interviews, to the time limit, to the actual airing time (7:30 ET). He also chose to answer what he wanted. If you noticed as well, he didn't specify what he was in rehab for.

Despite everything that happened, he's still calling the shots, and the media is allowing that to happen, just to have a sound bite from him.

    Okay, I'm done.

  6. surfer, I agree. I noticed how the "interview" was conducted standing up, so that Tiger had height on the interviewer, thus more power. I didn't hear what he said at first, because I was in a sports bar watching something else, but I watched his body language and it was VERY controlled.

  9. Just once I'd love for the reporter to ask:
" Are you really sorry you did
_______ or are you just sorry you got caught."

I know that the person would lie but for once I'd like them to ask what we're thinking. Reporters though don't have the stones to ask those kind of questions.
