I like the Chad Lowe/Hillary Swank guess for #1. I believe he's battled addition in the past and she seems like a nice person who would help him out by paying for his home repairs. Although I bet her manager's wife doesn't think she's a nice person for screwing her husband.
I got nothing for #2 but totally agree that if all she's asking for is $1 million she doesn't have much on him.

kristin, james cameron and kathryn bigalow are on good terms. there was a good piece on her on 60 Minutes and he spoke highly of her. They were married so long ago, they said, and so briefly that there's nothing to be mad at the other about.

Coming back to elaborate on my guess for #2: Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen.
She is most likely going to be subpoened very soon for the felony case against Charlie. Apparently several of his ex's are being asked to testify about a possible history of domestic violence. SO! It makes sense that she'd be asking him for hush money... and given her opportunistic reputation (and lack of work these days) it wouldn't surprise me. Only thing that does shock me: that she's not asking for a hell of a lot more.
Im on the sheen/richards bandwagon for #2....I'm still researching #1 ugh

Hm, Chad Lowe is an interesting guess. I used to see him around NYC all the time, though, and he was always so easygoing and kinder than the average person. He held a cab for my boyfriend and I once, late at night, when we were like a half block away. I'll always root for him for being like that. Hope he is doing better...
I totally agree with the Bradley Cooper/J. Esposito guess. If all she has is that he's gay, as many suspect. $1 million to sit on it a while longer before it inevitably comes out anyway sounds fair! :P
