I love these kinds of stories. A man and his two year old daughter were on a ship that is moored at South Street Seaport in New York City. The daughter fell into the East River and before the dad could get in the water, a mysterious Frenchman jumped into the water and saved the two year old girl. When she was safe, the girl's father was looking for the man but he had disappeared. Nowhere to be found. He is the younger guy on the right side of the picture.
To just immediately jump into the water and think about someone other than yourself is amazing. How many other people were there and didn't do anything, but this guy beat the girl's dad into the water. Incredible.
