When I first saw this photo of Katy Perry I thought she must be going out or coming back from going out, but she was actually recording her new album dressed like this.

It looks like Nic Cage cut off some of his blonde hair. It must kill him to actually cut off hair voluntarily.

This is Samira Jay. She is on the road to recovery from anorexia. Her story is really inspirational and also sad. She says she was suddenly cured when she posted her pictures on a pro anorexia site to get help, and everyone loved her photos. An example is below. The reaction of others cured her because she couldn't believe there were people who were jealous that she was so skinny.
Recognize this woman? Silda Spitzer. Wife to former NY Governor and hooker lover, Eliot Spitzer.

oh, that anorexia picture is so sad, glad she was helped.
I hate celebrities at baseball. For some reason, and I don't know why. Now that we have the new Twins stadium it will be my favorite thing to do this summer. For some reason, I just don't think celebrities belong there, at the risk of sounding sacrilege it would be like dumbass Rhianna crashing your gramma's funeral.
oh, and Uma, I did that dress and hair when I was in 8th grade and went to a jazz concert. Not.Cute.

Pink looks pregnant. I hope she is. I like that she and her husband split up but got back and are doing well. Working at a marriage is such a novel idea. Those two trailblazers.

chihuahuense, can you imagine, though, if Prince started showing up to the Twins games? I'd go if I thought I'd see him. :)
I love that Samira is open and honest about it. I've struggled (ok, fine, I admit it, I still do) with anorexia and bulemia and the worst part about it is the pro-ana community. They feed into your delusions and egg you on and say it's support but really it's just a competition to see who can be thinner and stay out of the hospital.
I'm 5'4.5/110-113 depending on the day and that is up from where I used to be at about 90 lbs. It damn near killed me gaining 20 lbs and every single day I struggle with wanting that weight off again...My brain might know one thing, but every emotion in your body screams something else.
Anyway, good for her.
And I forgot to mention my point, which is that it gets exhausting lying about it all the time, as in "yes mom, I'm eating" and "I weigh 125, I'm totally fine for my height". It must be a huge relief tot her to just be honest now.
So Katy Perry is doing a new album.
Is she filling it with Robert Palmer tunes? Just saying... "The lights are on but noone's home..."
She could dress the men like Robert since she looks like the ladies.
I knew a guy in 1985 who wore the same sunglasses Katy Perry is wearing.

She got on a 'Pro Ana' site to get help? Umm, what about the prefix 'pro' didn't she understand?
Also, am I the only one who thinks the picture of her is photoshopped?
Sorry, but the story sounds weird to me.
An anorexic wouldn't be scared to hear people complimenting them about being so skinny. They would feel flattered.
Of course, I don't know the rules of every 'Pro Ana' site on the internet but the ones I know want you to prove that you're proud to be anorexic and only want to join fellow anas to exchange tips and tricks on how to stay thin, get even thinner and fool families, friends and others into thinking that everything's fine and that you're eating. If you can't convince them you won't be able to get access to the site.
So if she wanted to get help they would have never accepted her to join them.
Anas on those sites don't think that they're ill and need help. They just think of anorexia as a different lifestyle and they don't want to be disturbed by people who want to make them change their mind.
props to jab for your recovery, i know how difficult it can be training your mind to look at "beauty" differently, stay with it, it really does get easier over time. and good for samira jay as well. she looks amazing and has come so far, i wish her continued health and success!
as for pink, please let her be pregnant. for her and carey to save their marriage and come back stronger is such a positive message in times like these.

Katy perry dress is gorgeous...that is something that I would wear on a regular basis not just for the clubs but like in pink or in yellow...something flashy.
Mina, she wasn't going on the site for help. She posted the picture and when she saw how crazy the girls went complimenting how skinny she was (when she might have posted it thinking she was fat) she thought "whoa" I must really have a problem if they are all jealous.
That is the way I understood it anyway.
oh, and Mooshki, I would like to see Prince, just not at a baseball came. There is no glam, no celebrities, no crying and no Prince in baseball. Except for Prince Fielder and he plays for the wrong team--not figuratively...literally. (not especially a Brewers fan).

That photo was def photoshopped. You can see where her back is too flat instead of rounded. There is a hump where her back really starts but them someone just erased it right out of the photo.
The final clue: her arms or her legs aren't really that skinny.
Enty, LeeAnn can see just fine, just like at least a billion of other people on Earth that share Asian ethnicity.

If Rhianna wanted to fit in and go unnoticed, I would suggest taking the hip sunglasses off, putting her arms down and taking off the hood. Why do people go out of their way to look out of place to be noticed. Stupid.
