Kirsten Dunst 2007 Drug Claim
The NY Daily News had an article yesterday that mentioned Kirsten Dunst and drugs and I was kind of stopped short for a minute because I know she hasn't been doing any drugs lately and as far as I know limits herself on the booze too. Then I saw the story referred to the time back in 2007 when Kirsten's purse was stolen from her hotel room. The guy who allegedly stole it says he didn't steal it but was up in Kirsten's room because he was with a really big drug dealer who had been invited by Kirsten and said there were drugs in the room.
Do I believe him? I still think the guy stole the purse, but I could imagine that back in 2007 Kirsten had some drugs in her room. And since we don't know what kind of drugs he is referring to, it could just be Tylenol 3. Yeah, I know. Just go back and look at those pictures of her in Hawaii and you can tell. The good news is she caught herself, and works at getting better everyday. Oh, and gets work because of it. Hello Lindsay Lohan.

Didn't she go to rehab and her people tried to cover by saying she had "insomnia" which really never made any sense.
Good for Kirsten. It is better to own up to your issues and get geniune help and work at it. Then to continue to be a media laughing stock like Lindsay becuase everybody knows she is lying and did nothing to help herself unless forced. And even then she never took it seriously.
I loved Kirsten in Intervew with a Vampire so I will always have a soft spot for her and her snaggletooth.

I think it would be great if Kirsten came out and talked about her issues and how she got over them. It may help other young girls.
I always LOVED her in "Dick" and "Drop Dead Gorgeous." Those movies are hysterical.

I'm sure the man in question was there regarding drugs; and I do think he probably was trying to steal her purse.
I'm so glad to hear you say that with such assurance, Enty. Kirsten has seemed pretty erratic over the years, so I'm glad she's better.

She made me suspect this when she was on the Tonight show a couple of years ago. She went on and on about how much she loved drinking, and it made me suspect that she was trying to cover up something else.
A testament to the peril of growing up in the public eye. Lots of people probably have a few years of drinking and screwing around in their early 20s before growing out of it. Kirsten Dunst did so while famous, and it'll take her a long time to get rid of the "Kirsten Drunkst" label.
I'm glad she's ok now, less booze and drugs = more acting jobs.

Good for her for turning her life around....is it really that newsworthy now...3 years later? There were already whispers of her drug use back then.
I think the guy did steal from her because someone got into Simon Pegg's room and stole some stuff from him at the same time. I know Simon's camera was stolen at least.
