Okay, Hamm is hot, but I hope he has better rhythm in um, other areas. I was shocked that Kate Gosselin allowed herself to be the butt of the joke. That part cracked me up.
I loved the Modern Family bits with George Clooney (so glad, by the way Eric Stonestreet won - he is the best!!), but Jimmy Fallon killed it!!!! He was the perfect host, loved all his musicals, just love him! Most enjoyable Emmy's in ages, imo!
The intro was awesome - Joel McHale!!! Kate ruined it, but luckily they kept her in the background so I could try & forget about her. The Modern Family clip was awesome. Stewie! George! Definitely some good laughs.
I loved both but I think the intro was the best. And of course it didn't hurt that Jon Hamm was shaking his cute ass (albeit, looking ridiculous). Kate Gosselin definitely did ruin it. She was so stone like (much like her personality).
I loved both of the skits. The first skit was hilarious and I even liked Kate Gosselin's bit (even though I don't find her personality becoming).
I liked the sex skit because of Clooney's sexy voice.
I also think that Hamm is the new Clooney. Hamm is sexy in his television role on Mad Men just as Clooney was sexy in his ER roll back in 1992. Now Clooney's traded in his sexy for more serious roles on the big screen and he's pretty boring. I hope that Hamm doesn't make the same mistake and loose his audience.
The intro, only because watching Jon Hamm shake his booty makes me want his babies.
ReplyDelete"Glee," Jon Hamm, Betty White, Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen, is some kind of supernova of awesome. Is this really up for debate?

ReplyDeleteYup, Jon Hamm trumps George Clooney anyday.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun...
ReplyDeleteBorn to Run made me laugh. At lot. And out loud. Joel McHale!! And Vampire Diaries Girl randomly jumping in! HURLEY!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks Jen. I was about to jump on here to ask who that randome girl with the long dark hair was.
ReplyDeleteAnd HURLEY!!! "Dude, your shirt." Greatness.
Hamm makes everything better.

The Modern Family bit was the best. The opening was ok, but kind of went on forever. I was impressed with how well some of them could sing.

ReplyDeleteI loved the opening! Great job! Loved seeing George Clooney. Yes, it was a little long, but it did the job.
