Joran Van Der Sloot May Be Freed

I know the entire world is waiting for Lindsay Lohan to get out of rehab early and that will probably dominate the 24 hour news channels. I mean she is an actress so she must be more important than anything else going on in the world. Like Joran Van Der Sloot going free.

Now, I am not in Nancy Grace panic mode yet but I am a little worried that this scum might get out of jail and somehow back to the Netherlands which would allow him to escape again from facing any charges in the death of another young woman.

The story has been and continues to be that Joran says that his confession should be thrown out because he did not have a translator and he did not understand his rights and the government illegally took his laptop. If the confession is thrown out, then he could would be released from jail. Yes, he would still face a trial, but would not be waiting for that trial in a jail cell, but out on the streets meeting other women or even fleeing to one of the Dutch islands in the Caribbean. They are not that far from Peru.

  1. I think we all saw the confession on TV. We all saw him speaking Spanish. Not going to happen. Ever. He will never be free again.

  2. That would be a travesty of justice. Queen Karma, say it isn't so.

  3. He better not go free. If he does, I'm organizing a lynch mob.

  4. Even if they do let him out, isn't there a way to ensure he can't leave the country?? Oh please say it's so. Otherwise this guy might never be heard from again. Until he kills again.

  5. He'll find another loophole.

  6. Last weekend I watched a news special about him. He give me the willies in a Charles Manson kind of way.

  7. If he is freed, there is absolutely NO JUSTICE in this world.

  8. That's what I always do when someone speaks to me in a language I do not understand. Confess to murder.

  9. Even if he does somehow manage to be freed, does anyone really think he will survive for very long outside of protective custody? Not only are some of the surviving families of his victims very well connected, but virtually the entire world hates him. He'll get what's coming to him one way or another.

  11. I'm with Paisley on this one, y'all!

He is toast if he goes free. Toast, I tell ya.

Dudn't even have to be a secret thing; someone just needs to hunt him down and kill his ass DEAD.

  14. I hope Tatyana's family is rich/powerful enough to make this not happen.

  15. How, at such a young age, is he able to manipulate intelligent lawyers, police and judges?

He must be a legal genius, or have the wealth of a small nation. Truly scary.

It's almost like he's charming his way out. Does everyone that meets him want to help him?

  16. His father was a judge. The legal system is a just big game and he understands the rules fairly well. Enough money to hire a good lawyer goes a very long way as well.

  17. Harriet Hellfire - EXACTLY!

Again, he did this same thing with Natalee. I really hope they are studying that case. And if anything surely that poor girls' father will raise hell if he is freed.

  18. First off, if by some travesty of justice, he does get out of jail, I wouldn't give two cents for his chances.
Just remember who the girl's father is...and while I'm not advocating vigilante justice, I'm certainly not going to cry when (not if) van der Sloot has an "accident" involving his brain and a high caliber bullet.

  19. The next think you know, he's going to claim he killed her because of a misunderstanding.
    What an evil, evil man.

  20. A bullet to the brain is much to good for this sack of excrement. It needs to be painful, humiliating, and degrading. I am thinking a shotgun suppository. He needs to be as afraid for his life as I am sure the girls he killed were.

It might better serve justice in the long run if he is freed. That is, as long as his brutally beaten body is found in a ditch or a shallow grave.
If I were a member of Natalee Hollaway's family, I'd be meeting with some skilled hit men right about now!

  22. as i've always said,he will not leave Peru alive. they have way too much physical evidence for him to walk, they don't even need the confession..you should know that enty!

  23. He will walk. I've thought so from the get-go. It's a crime against humanity but he's going to walk. Again.

  24. As screwed up as the world is now what will happen is this piece of crap will be turned loose, come to the US and get handed a reality show. I can see the promos now. Come follow the charming Jooran as he hunts for just the right young woman to brutally muder each year on May 30th. Follow the laugh a minute high jinks as he travels from country to country mocking police and making fools of the justice system. The sad thing is morons would actually watch something like that.and women would try to get on it for their 15 minutes even if it could get them killed.
