Donnie Wahlberg's Mistress Gets Pregnant - He Dumps Her
Donnie Wahlberg's nine year marriage recently ended. The reason, other than his proclivity to sing Step By Step every morning, was his affair with Canadian model, Michelle Tomlinson. Well, it turns out that perhaps some protection was in order while they were having sex because Michelle is now pregnant and due in March. This was not pleasant news to Donnie and according to The Enquirer he dumped her when she told him the news. Not even a let me think about it or let me process this. Nope, he just dumped her right that second.
See, this kind of behavior just reinforces the fact that Donnie is an ass and will probably continue to be an ass. This was not a one time thing like Jude Law, this was a relationship and if you are having sex, there is always the chance of pregnancy. I'm not saying he has to marry her, but to just dump someone because they got pregnant seems harsh.

I don't understand the dumping because of pregnancy thing. It's gotta stem from some feeling of betrayal, right? Like the guy saying "You told me you were [insert birth control method]!!" And that means he took NO responsibility for birth control. Too bad. So sad. Nice story to tell the child though. Asshat.
He probably thought she was trying to seal the deal and force him right into another marriage, perhaps? That's cold. On the bright side she'll get a nice check to raise the baby for the next 18 years. Why didn't he get clipped so this wouldn't happen if he wanted no children? Save some sperm for a rainy day if you change your mind. Geesh.
Donnie is a D.O.G. A friend of mine has spent some time with him in a professional capacity - oh my, the stories she tells! Run far away from this guy ladies - he'll pretty much screw anything that walks.
My first reaction was along the lines of what Christine said -- that it wasn't the pregnancy, it was more like they had an explicit agreement that there'd be no kids and she assured him she was on the pill or somesuch. That's the only thing that could explain such extreme behavior by him and "not even a let met think about it" pause for one second. But. Who knows. Still. That's what it comes across like.

no man, especially one who's famous and has some money, should ever take a woman's word for it that she's got the whole contraception thing covered. so no sympathy for donnie from me. you play, you just may have to pay.
if he doesn't want to be with her, that's fine. he will end up paying to support this child, if it's his---either on his own volition or by a judge's order.
It never fails to amaze me how stupid people can be. If you have sex with someone, chances are somebody might get pregnant. So BOTH parties need to protect themselves. I'm sick of hearing about stupid women who get knocked up and the even stupider men who act badly because she got knocked up in the first place.
No one ever thinks of the child involved.
Did she expect him to run out and buy her an engagement ring because she was knocked up? She was nothing more than a side piece to him and though his marriage may have ended he most likely wasn't looking at her to be the next Mrs. Wahlberg. She'll be alright, she'll have his money to wipe away her tears.
I never took the Wahlberg's to be the nicest of people. Mark is just a lucky hooligan who blinded a Korean deli owner when he was a teenager.
Walking away from your pg/gf/booty call isn't that surprising now that he is on a hit show and wants to enjoy being famous again.

Actually, Johnny Drama is NOT based on Donnie Wahlberg, but a cousin of Mark's.
