The Globe Says Prince Charles Is Gay
Earlier this week, Gawker used all of their pawns interns to go back in time and look at tabloid covers to see how often they were correct. With the exception of all the pregnancy stories and anything to do with Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston, I think they did pretty well. The problems is the tabloids always have those three subjects on their covers so the numbers of times they get it correct will always be low.
Not included in their study was The Globe. I wondered why until you figure how could anyone know if anything The Globe says is true. I do love going over to their site every Friday to see their cover and I especially love the comments. Their comments are the best because these are the people who are waiting for Bat Boy to show up at their house and party.
Anyway, their cover this week is pretty good. They say that Prince Charles is gay and has been for 30 years. Not his whole life, just the past 30 years. They also managed to somehow bring up the Jon Benet story which is probably a big seller still. And to top it off, they say Eddie Fisher called Elizabeth Taylor before he died.
Now that one intrigues me. I wonder if he did call her or if maybe she called him.

Liz hasn't tweeted anything in quite awhile. Nothing about Eddie. I'm worried about her.
I miss "The World Weekly News" -- They made no claim to truth or accuracy.
Maybe what the world needs is more Elvis' alien love children complaining that Clinton (pick one) didn't want to meet!!
Prince Charles gay??? Married Diana as a cover??? No. He married Diana because she was a virgin. He cheated on her throughout their marriage with Camilla and subsequently married her after Diana's death.
The Burke Ramsey story is true. The family attorney has said that the police do want to interview him but he hasn't been interviewed yet. Other reports say he was interviewed. I am not sure if he is a suspect of if they feel that now that he is an adult, graduated from college and on his own, perhaps his loyalties to his father may be less stong. Or maybe thought he might remember something from that night. Reports indicate that Burke has grown into a fine young man, bright, well educated, socially active and an all around decent guy who really does not remember much about that night at all.
I know Liz and Debbie made up and became friends again after the whole scandal blew over and Liz divorced Eddie. But I wonder if she was still friends with Eddie as well?
Charles isn't gay. He was quite the Playboy back in the day. There was a disgruntled employee of his a few years back who made some allegations but that's it. Now Prince Edward....

There is a gay prince, but I always thought it was Edward. Charles just has horrible taste in women.

I'm with hello kitty. The World Weekly News was the leader in crazy alien abductions, Elvis spotting, Bat Boy news. Frankly, I think now, the Globe and the Enquirer hold the most appeal for me. I'd rather read about stuff that happened 20 years ago or stars that are 80 years old than all the reality trash (I am no longer refering to them as the c-word) that is on the cover of the more "mainstream" tabloids.
