Taylor Momsen Suspended From Gossip Girl
Not that Taylor Momsen probably cares, but she has been suspended by Gossip Girl indefinitely because of her behavior. Since she has only been on three episodes all season I doubt anyone will really notice. I sure hope she can make something of her music career or she will be kicking herself down the road for getting thrown off a job where she makes really easy money. According to Tim Gunn, she does not even really do any work on the show and does not memorize her lines. Throwing away the kind of money she has been making is just stupid. Of course this is Taylor Momsen we are talking about. With this big of a head at 17, I can only guess as to how big her head will be in a few years. She is so cavalier about everything that in her concert rider she asks for a full bar in her dressing room. So, she is basically telling promoters that if they want her to play they have to break the law and provide a minor with booze.

I don't think her career will be around long enough for her to get an even bigger ego. But that's what happens when a 17 year old is calling the shots.

All I can say about this is GOOD. Her character has become increasingly annoying. Art imitates life, I suppose.

Alas Karmen, you are right. Not sure I like this 24/7 entertainment coverage that keeps "celebrities" around waaaaaay longer than they are relevant.

The only one worse than her on the show was Michelle Trachtenberg.
@linnea and Sauce - totally. Thank god Trachtenburg never made it to a regular. I swear, these days I feel like I'm only watching for Blair & Chuck. Everyone else annoys me.
Really can't stand this idiot. Don't care how old she is, her attitude is what's going to get her not to be employed anymore.
Taylor will get a big wake up when she realizes that only the biggest pop stars are making a good living in music these days. And she ain't no big pop star. (We have friends in real bands - one level below BIG star but bands with loyal fan followings - and the "can't pay the rent" stories are hard cold disheartening... and drugs and excessive spending are not to blame. They make almost zero when all cuts are paid out.)
Well I'd say she is going to end up in a gutter but how would we know the difference?

Why don't the producers get rid of Vanessa too? It's a mystery because I never met anyone that likes her.
Meh. She's 17. She'll either get tired of the booze, drugs and straighten up - or she'll become Paris and Lindsay. Could go either way.
