Who Made A Las Vegas Showgirl Disappear?

On December 12, Debbie Flores-Narvaez, was last seen leaving the home of her ex-boyfriend. Well, that is what her ex-boyfriend says anyway. Debbie, was a performer in Fantasy at The Luxor and also worked as a go go dancer at Rain Nightclub. Her ex said that Debbie came by and was depressed because it was the holidays and she was not around her family. He said that she left his place and was going to see her friends.

Friends of Debbie who talked to People, said that Debbie and her ex's relationship was not great and that it made her upset. Police found Debbie's car but have not said whether foul play was involved. The next day after her meeting she was supposed to show up for work but did not arrive. Apparently she was a great worker and had never not shown up or even called in sick before. I know the holidays can be a terribly depressing time, but my guess if this was a suicide, her body would have already been found.

  1. This is sad, but I'm not sure why this is supposed to interest us. Who is this person? Why did people magazine take up the cause?

If something happened to her, that's tragic and I'm sad for her family. But this isn't anything more than a local news story.

    Am I missing something here?

  3. Ugh. This already sounds like it was her ex, doesn't it?

  4. @Ryan & linnea - sometimes Enty covers missing persons and other crime stories. What was the name of the little boy - Kylor? He's not a celebrity either, but I appreciate the stories.

  5. Oh, RQ - I dont mean here on the blog! I like the occasional crime story too.

I was just curious as to why people were covering her, if she had been on some strange reality show or something!

  8. Hmmm, it seems that in some people's minds, the ex is being pinned with this. Until there's evidence, nothing should be assumed.

  9. I hear you, Linnea :)
I haven't convicted him yet, john, lol. But I BELIEVE he will be looked at as a suspect.

  10. Sad. 90% of the time it's the husband/boyfriend/ex. I'm betting on the boyfriend.

  11. I thought it was higher than 90%?

  12. I lived in Vegas, so I find this interesting. My first deeply cynical thought was this was her ex. He probably called her telling her he was the one who was depressed and was going to kill himself if she didn't show up, and when she did, he killed her. Just a theory.

OR - she may have killed herself, but it seems unlikely.

  13. Hmmm... does anybody know Charlie Sheen's whereabouts during all this??

  14. most people don't conceal their own bodies if they commit suicide so i'd say that's unlikely. there's no reason not to be found---your goal's accomplished and you're dead.

foul play but too soon to pin it on the BF. plus we'll probably never hear another word about this. haha.

  16. @rocketqueen: And I'm fine with Enty doing whatever he wants with his site, but I'm really talking beyond that. This story is on People's website too, but I don't know why.

  17. Maybe Sean Penn and Charlie sheen have her locked in a closet in their hotel room.

  19. I read some article where her mom sent her a text 2 weeks before she dissapeared saying “In case there is ever an emergency with me, contact Blu Griffith in Vegas. My ex-boyfriend. Not my best friend,”

“I asked Debbie what it means, and she says ‘never mind, mommy. Just keep it for your records,’”

  20. kimmy, you said that backwards. she sent the text message to her mom.

it was horribly worded and completely confusing. does it mean 'get in touch with my ex and not my BF?' or does it mean to GO AFTER my ex-BF?

  21. oops thanks Nancer. yes she sent the text to her mom. I think she was trying to get the name to her Mom without it seeming like it, in the event that the ex read the text or something. I think the 'not my best friend' might mean "he is my enemy"?

  22. I take it as if I am ever in trouble contact my ex boyfriend not my best friend. The best friend/new bf would be the first person to go to if she lived away from family.

I hope she is found soon safe. These cases never turn out to be suicide and Elisabeth Smart was a one in million case.
