Yesterday the big news in the afternoon was that Lindsay was going to be on Letterman tomorrow night doing a Top Ten list. The list would have presumably made fun of her recent bouts with the law. It would have been good for her and to put her into a more positive light. Everyone loves self deprecating humor. Well, today CBS had to retract their earlier announcement because Lindsay pulled out. Well, kind of pulled out She says she never agreed to do it. Letterman;s people said they had spoken with someone close to Lindsay about the booking but would not reveal who it was.
Turns out it was Michael Lohan. He told the world it was his idea and that he coordinated between Letterman and Lindsay and even went so far as to arrange with Lindsay transportation to a studio in LA where she would have performed the bit.
Everything was going great until Lindsay's people found out about it and shut it down. Why would they shut it down? It isn't like Lindsay is making national guest appearances on any other shows. Idiots.
