Tonya Harding Responsible For Another Life

Kneepads is reporting some truly jaw dropping news. Unable to take care of herself, Tonya Harding has decided the best thing for her is to have a baby. Yes, the 40 year old former ice skater, whiner, celebrity boxing contestant, sex tape star, alcoholic, accessory to battery and so much more is pregnant. Tonya and her most recent husband announced the news, but of course want privacy. Uh huh. Then why did you even announce it in the first place. I will tell you why. It is because she is shocked that even though she is due any day, no one in the world has taken notice that Tonya is about to give birth. She is probably also shocked that reality television producers had no interest in following her while she was pregnant but perhaps will give her a chance now.

  1. Oh boy! That means I get to see her bumming around town with a little one in tow, and the news will run a ton of Tonya Watch...oh the joy.

She is from my neck of the woods and the media here is STILL obsessed with her! If she gets spotted somewhere there is always a story. Its so weird.

I don't know if he still does, but her ex Jeff Galooley used to run a tanning salon down the street after their divorce;. He and his new wife and daughters were there all the time. He died his hair blonde and got super buff..I would have never recognized him if it weren't for my GF busting in my room while I was tanning yelling that that was Jeff G. It was pretty funny and he was really shy about it. My friend is super gorgeous though, so he put up with it!

  6. I wish her well. She has had one messed up life. I hope she can get it together. Her mother was horrible. I felt sorry for her because she was an incredible skater, but never had the "class and grace" of Nancy Kerrigan. But honestly, NK was a total stuck up snot nosed you know what who stole someone else's husband. Oh...and Nancy was the whiner...why meeeee????? Anyway, I worry about that baby though and hope she can keep her nose clean.

  8. Actually, didn't he legally change his name to Jeff Stone, much to the chagrin of Paul Peterson of the Donna Reed Show fame?

  10. Have to say I agree with Ice Angel. For her sake and the baby's sake, I hope she can get it together. I remember watching her and Nancy and Kristi Yamaguchi when they were the top 3 in the US. - The commentators never EVER introduced her without saying "and here's the girl from the trailer park" - I used to think what the bl**dy difference does that make !" I personally preferred her more athletic style of skating than the dying duck of Kerrigan! - There seemed to be a great deal of snobbery in the figure skating ranks - she had a lot to overcome.
So I wish her well - hope she can do it !

  11. She is one of the people who crack comments on "The Smoking Gun: World's Dumbest ____" on Tru TV (along with Todd Bridges, Danny Bonaduce, et. al.) and the show doesn't have the budget for hair/makeup people because you can tell that Tonya did her own bangs with her curling iron. She often looks lit. Not sure why she's on there because her comments aren't particularly witty. Still, she gets a check and it keeps her out of trouble...

  13. Talk about synchronicity...This is the third time today that I've encountered Nancy Kerrigan's name on line or in conversation.
As far as that video of her whining, it got so much airplay at the time my then-wife said, "If I have to watch that thing one more time, I'm flying to Detroit to finish the job myself!"

  15. There will never be anther Olympic drama as epic as the Tonya/Nancy one. WHYYYYYYYY? WHYYYYYYY? My older sister was obsessed with the story for some reason, and named her pet mice Tonya and Nancy.

I feel sort of bad for Tonya,,,the level of disgust aimed at her seems excessive, yes what she did was very wrong, but there are many celebs who have done just as bad or worse, and they get back in the public's good graces almost ASAP. And yes her mother is a total bitch, I saw her interviewed once and she did not even try to hide the fact she didn't like Tonya. The reporter asked her "What would Tonya have become if she hadn't been a good skater?" and her mother replied nastily, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing." Wow.

Oh, and Enty, you forgot she also tried to be a singer in a band called "The Golden Blades". Saw 'em on TV, they got booed like crazy.

  16. Well it shows that with IceAngel and Marion, folks don't know what they want in a famous person. One hand they can't stand bad eggs like Snooki (but ends up giving articles that pertain to their ilk the most more time) but will probably rag on Norah Jones for being to "safe." Nothing is ever too safe but there is a sure thing that you can be "too beside yourself" for anyone to respect you afterwards. Unfortunately Tonya may have reached that point and it's no one else's fault but hers. While it may have been too blown up the thing is the skating world never saw anything like that happen and it shouldn't have. What can they teach about competition and how you should be graceful about it? Angel, I don't give a hoot what happened in Nancy's life. If you think that it was a reason why she should deserve have what happened to her, then the joke's on you. She and Kristi weren't responsible for the judges and media treated Tonya and still never publicly carried herself in such way, privately, maybe, but at least she's had the good sense not to and end up on some silly CourtTV show only getting to be a mom at 40 because she knew that she wait that long, maturity wise.
