So Much For Chris Brown Being Anger Free
I wonder if Chris Brown is on meds and forgot them this morning. If I were him that is the excuse I would g with because this is going to definitely put him right back on Santa's naughty list. By the way, has Santa ever said how you get off his naughty list? Is there an appeals process? This morning Chris Brown was on Good Morning America and was being questioned by the amazing Robin Roberts. Robin for her part says that all the questions she asked were approved in advance by Chris' people. That is nice journalism. I might have to take back my amazing part. Anyway, Robin asked about Rihanna and Chris Brown went ballistic. I think everyone probably rushed to cover their faces and if you were not a weak defenseless person probably started snapping pictures and posting to Twitter.
After Robin asked the questions, Chris decided that a window just had too much glass in it and smashed it. He then took off his shirt to show how tough he is. He then probably found a woman he could start beating. Preferably one without a big brother or dad who would kick his ass.
What.a.fucking.loser.
ReplyDelete^second
ReplyDeleteHe also used the wrong there. Just saying.
he's a fucking thug.
ReplyDeleteI know Rihanna is not his only victim, this animal has a history of this and it is going to come out. Is it a coincidence that he went ballistic because a woman was questioning him? I think not. I hope this is viewed as a probation violation and his sorry ass is sent to jail. Period.
ReplyDeleteIdiot. He just comes off as such a creep and I don't know why people are still playing his music.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the difference between Charlie Sheen and Chris Brown?
ReplyDeletePics or didn't happen. ;p
ReplyDeleteI love that reporter called him what he was, a beater. So many people dance around what abuse is. He really is in some serious denial about his career. It's over.
He looks like Sisqo.
ReplyDeleteJackass.
Please please don't buy his album, people. Show that Chris Brown's behavior is unacceptable by withholding the things this abuser holds most dear: money and fame.
ReplyDeleteOh, Charlie Sheen, right.
ReplyDeleteCharlie Sheen never is charged, quite possibly because Charlie Sheen has always had the money to use to relieve the distress and damage he's caused.
I'd say one of the reasons he's been acting as he has is because the stories about his lack of liquidity (save for the tiger blood) may be more than a bit accurate. Why? He's gone to extremes not just in illegal drugs and hiring porn performers... he seemed compelled to buy lots of expensive real estate... even propose to lease one mansion for his supposed "porn family".
I'm sure he wants attention and acclaim because at this point he seems to have more than slipped a bit from being any sort of real working artist.
But he may really need the freakin' cash.
Which also may be why he hasn't replaced his PR representative. Of course, he feels that the advanced evolution of his mind destroyed that whole field once he, uh, invented Twitter. Darn you, Charlie... you've switched from the Family Sheen to the cashy Kardashians!
Asshole. And the sad thing is so many of his fans are little girls/teens who just think he's misunderstood. Until he owns up to his mistakes, becomes truly accountable and regretful, he remains an animal who is a danger to women.
ReplyDeleteI love how he compares himself to Charlie Sheen. That is a classic addict/abuser move, by the way - "I may be a drunk, but I never killed anyone with my car...so I'm not THAT bad." "I may be an abuser, but I'm not a cokehead like Charlie Sheen, so I'm not THAT bad." Just keeps the cycle going. Classic.
I think it is next week he is appearing in DWTS. I will not be watching. I want the show to get low ratings the day he is on it. He is such a loser.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Charlie threatened to cut one of his ex's heads off and put it in a box, he didn't actually do it so I guess in the eyes of the law no harm, no foul?
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that. I see little difference between these 2.
Chris Brown needs to get used to the fact that it has only been 2 years since he beat Rihanna and people don't forget that kind of stuff quickly or easily. I empathize what it's like to be badgered over a past error in judgement but he clearly never understood how serious it was based on his reaction.
I like DWTS. But if he appears on that show, it will be the last time I watch it. And, although it will do no good, I will be firing a letter off to producers telling them I will not watch or support a show that wants to glorify a confirmed violent woman beater. Maybe if a few more people did that, it might make a difference.
ReplyDeletePeople need to stop hiring this loser asshole. Stop interviewing him, stop selling his albums, just put him away.
ReplyDeleteASSSSSSSSSSSSS!
ReplyDeleteI think it was partly that a woman was questioning him and diverting him from his plan, but also a strong woman who wasn't afraid of him -- and had a phalanx of witnesses and security guards to protect her from him.
ReplyDeleteI was shocked and disappointed when the announced that Chris Brown is set to perform on DWTS. I'm an avid DWTS watcher, and this just pisses me off to no end.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Wendy Williams reported about his GMA goings-on today. I am so curious to see if ABC will replace him on DWTS or try to cash in the situation. I'm sure they will try to cash in.
I know GMA is fluff city, but they submit the questions in advance for approval?!?!? Gah. This wounds my retired journalist soul.
Charlie Sheen has abused women in the past, but I think he paid off the women, so they never pursued anything in court.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if the above is correct.
I just think it's interesting how people really HATE Chris Brown, but the public seems to love Charlie Sheen.
You never hear people calling Sheen a thug.
Both men have abused women in the past, but only one seems to get the most grief.
they are both thugs and they are both going to get some serious karma coming their way...looks like Brown's is going to hit first.
ReplyDeleteand give me one example that doesn't make him a fkn thug?
ReplyDeletecomparing abusers is a waste of time and disrespectful to their victims.
Even my 10, 8 and 6 year old kids hate Chris Brown and make me change the station if one of his songs come on. They too couldn't believe that he was going to be on DWTS. They better cancel that appointment!
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong, but I think ABC and DWTS will cut Chris loose.
ReplyDeleteIf he doesn't want to be questioned about the most (en)famous thing he's ever done, then he needs to stay home and stay away from the hair dye.
I think people give Charlie the benefit of the doubt for several reasons. The people he supposedly beat were all of questionable character, i.e. porn stars, strippers and his druggie wife, who was more wasted than he was the night of the incident. That said I still can't stand either one of them. Chris is a thug. Charlie is just deranged.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I felt as though I were in the Twilight Zone while watching DWTS and Tom Bergenon kept promoting the CB performance. I know I only have my little life to refer to, but I teach piano, and many of my students - particularly middle school age girls watch DWTS. Why in the world would ABC execs think CB performing is a good idea?
ReplyDeleteI also heard that CBS is considering rehiring Charlie Sheen, and Fox is considering a late night talk show of which he is the host.
It's like I live in a fucking world gone mad.
Look...another loser. 3 losers in a row. Who cares about these idiots. Stop giving them any form of attention.
ReplyDeletePut his violent, woman-beating, arrogant, untalented auto-tuned ass in jail. I'm sick of hearing about this POS.
ReplyDeleteI had NO IDEA that DWTS was bringing Chris Brown on to perform. Are you f' ing kidding me? I am extra happy I don't watch that show now. Unreal.
ReplyDeleteI just want to know why ABC hasn't filed a police report yet. Glass shards falling on a sidewalk is highly dangerous.
ReplyDeleteI was at TMZ and they have a story that Asshole knew about the questions he was going to be asked and he agreed to them. So why throw a tantrum if he already knew what questions were coming up? Also that people are calling in or emailing for him not to be on DWTS.
ReplyDeleteDr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome.
I can only suspect is that he thought he was going to get softball questions (in his favor) about Rhianna or just forgot he agreed to it (he isn't the brightest).
ReplyDeleteIt is just amazing that he has no remorse about what he did and only regrets what he lost (money & fame) I really hope this album tanks also. And shame on ABC for giving him a gig on DWTS. If they had any self respct they would pull his apperance.
Charlie Sheen threatens, but Chris Brown beats his girlfriend's face to a pulp? Big Difference.
ReplyDeleteLOSER!
Not so fast Jamie's Girl. Charlie has put his hands on other women. Let's not talk about Kelly Preston, 'kay.
ReplyDeleteThere is not a BIG difference. Some celebs have a hella of a clean up crew is all I am saying.
Personally, i think that if Chris Brown was white we wouldn't all be jumping on the bandwagon. Charlie Sheen's character is probably just as bad if not worse yet we as a collective seem to support his craziness, willingly or unwillingly. Yet if Chrown Brown is mentioned it's "destroy his CDs! Don't let him on tv or I'll boycott!" I don't see anyone saying "Darnt hat Charlie Sheen! No more Two and a Half men for me!"
ReplyDelete"The people he supposedly beat were all of questionable character, i.e. porn stars, strippers and his druggie wife, who was more wasted than he was the night of the incident."
ReplyDeletePorn stars, strippers and addicts are entitled to dignity. Their occupations are not desirable by most, but calling them questionable in character does not always fit.
Even the town drunk tells the truth sometimes.

ReplyDeleteI can see clearly how Non-whites are treated in Hwood for the same offenses as their white counterparts. However, Mr. M, I respect your opinion. CB has lost all points from me. He needs to go away NOW.
ReplyDeletePeople do (and did) scream for a boycott of Charlie Sheen and have for a long time. Fact.
ReplyDeleteThey should have a CB/CS celeb death match and whomever wins gets their career back.
Fair?
So is a stripper necessarily if less character than someone schilling for Phillip Morris or a lobbyist in DC or the big pharmaceutical companies pushing many drugs that do more harm than good? I've worked as a dancer and I would just like to know what makes another human better than me or anyone else not harming anyone trying to make a living.
ReplyDeleteAnd there is tons of blatant racism here because Charlie Sheen has abused many women. Because Denise Richards is supposed to be a former working girl that means she deserves to be abused? And what makes a TRICK, which Charlie definitely is, think he is any higher and mightier to pass judgement and deliver justice? He's just as bad if not worse than Chris Brown and I dont think Chris will be getting any offers from Mark Cuban, Twitter or making $7mill from EGO TOUR 2011

ReplyDeleteWell said, Bubbles.
ReplyDeleteIt seems in my observations, a black male being an abuser doesn't seem to garner the same vitriol as his white (or really Hispanic) counterpart. Is there disgust and hate on both sides? Sure. But from my observation, Chris Brown receives MANY more negative comments. I think it's because it feeds into the fears of the psyche of many; here's an aggressive black man. Run for the hills and destroy him.
ReplyDelete@ Bubbles - I don't think (and I think I speak for a lot of people on CDAN) that strippers or dancers or hookers are less of a person than anyone else. Sometimes you have to do things to make a living you might not love, we all do. As long as you are of age and a consenting adult, do what you need to do and pay your bills. And don't let anyone bring you down for it. People that live in glass houses should not throw stones.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree Mr. M that the reaction to Chris is relentlessly harsher than to Charlie Sheen..regardless I love his music and as a fan I'm truly disappointed in his behavior he's has ruined his career...
ReplyDeleteSounds like his appearance will be canceled:

Sorry, I don't think this has anything to do with race. To me, it's his perceived lack of remorse. I truly don't think this guy understands why people got so pissed off or why he lost fans.
I'm not saying that Chris Brown is ANY better than Charlie Sheen, but the public has also had the opportunity to see the fairly recent shots of a bruised and battered Rihanna. We've heard STORIES about Charlie, and he's obviously batshit crazy, but I think that Chris Brown's abuse of Rihanna was more..tangible, for lack of a better word.
ReplyDeleteChris Brown has also REFUSED TO ATONE for anything and continuously plays the victim card. That offhand "well, I've moved away from it" comment when asked about Rihanna just says it all. It's just so obvious that he isn't apologetic whatsoever.
I heard about this on the radio on my way home today and thought "What a baby." He could have used this interview to continue to at least TRY and show remorse but instead he acted like a spoiled child/pyscho.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really keep up with his reaction after that incident so I don't recall whether he did any interviews about it or not but even if he'd done a 1000 interviews where he had to say sorry that doesn't mean he's exempt from all questions about it in the future.
ABC are idiots if they keep him as a performer...
Oh & I LOL-ed at the Sisqo reference. :)
Right before the Grammys he got a judge to lift the restraining order so he could be in the same venue as Rihanna. And so many people posted and wrote that it was time for everyone to "get past this" and allow him his freedom.
ReplyDeleteAnd right these people would be...where? (crickets chirping)
@weezy, that sentiment may have been echoed loudly on other blogs, but I don't really remember anyone saying that here. I could be wrong. I sure as shit know *I* didn't say anything like that.
ReplyDeleteI would like to say that *I* don't think there is a difference between beating up a stripper or a pop star or anyone else for that matter, but I think it has definitely mattered in the eyes of the public.
ReplyDeleteSheen gets away with it because so many people think strippers and prostitutes somehow are so questionable that they cannot be trusted to tell the truth. But everyone saw the evidence of Brown's behaviour and therefore were quicker to judge.
That said, I don't listen to Brown or watch Sheen.
Spoiled little prick. Good-bye.
ReplyDeleteAaahh yes, our bad, Charlie Sheen is the determinant between what's right and what's wrong and if Charlie Sheen does it by all means Chris keep up your behavior too. That's right Chris, you deserve PRAISE. Our bad.
ReplyDeleteLadies, get your gun permit and help even the playing field on fuckers like this. Never be a victim.
CS/CB injustice? You bet, but I don't think it's the fact that CB is black as much as the fact that he beat 'beloved RiRi'. And there were pics. And Charlie's gals were appeased with cash.
