Unfortunately, if it's done in the US, it's not illegal. Supreme Court ruled it legal a couple years ago.
That is horrible. Whoever it is needs to be outed. And for punishment they should be locked alone in a cage with a mountain lion.

@Red, as I recall, there was a law the Supreme Court shot down about two years ago which included the filming/distribution of these snuff films because the law was too broad. They have since re-written the law regarding the distribution, and they are now illegal. For the acts themselves, they certainly fall under the banner of cruelty to animals, and can be prosecuted by States depending on the strength of their laws.

The world is soooo messed up. I can't understand why certain things are deemed illegal that are ridiculous (like sex before marriage...if you're caught, you can be arrested). Yet crushing small animals is legal in the U.S. Messed up.

There's another guy from my town who made the news because he forced his pit bull to attack a cat. The dog wanted nothing to do with the cat, but he kept egging him on and the dog got fed up and tore the cat up. Of course, it was all filmed and put on YouTube which is how he was caught. A lady from new York called the police. To this day, he still believes he did nothing wrong & finds it funny. I knew the detective working on the case & she said the cat's owner came in crying & was really hurt about his cat. Oh & the kid's excuse? "The cat ate my parakeet."
Good Lord, I could've really preferred to stay ignorant on such things. then again, blind like these, reveal human trash and get them caught.
