Greatest Marriage Proposal?

At least once a week, someone sends me a YouTube link to a marriage proposal and claiming it is the best one ever. For that week, it probably was the best. I don't know if this is the best marriage proposal ever, but it is one of the best to make it on YouTube.

  1. This is such a cute video. At least he can't be accused of not being romantic -- this gives him a free pass for at least a couple of years :D

  3. I love it! It will be hard to top it for anniversaries and birthdays, but they'll always have a wonderful engagement story to tell. I hope he's as sweet as he is creative.

  4. Too long for me because I don't know the people involved but still pretty sweet. I think crazy proposals are so fun but I like that mine was very tender and personal for only my husband and me to remember.

  5. I know this makes me a horrible person, but I just kept hoping she would say she needed to to the bathroom before the movie started and get up and walk out :)

  6. I may also be a horrible person but the whole time I was thinking it was a publicity stunt created by Universal to drive sales for the Hangover 2.

  7. it's sweet, but too long (tl;dr!) ott clichéd/scripted, and awful editing (and don't be using 'o fortuna' unless this is the nfl, dammit)...but very, very sweet concept. good luck to them.

  8. Am I a horrible cynic to wonder if this is a put-on done by actors?

  10. I thought it was sweet! I never even considered this was an act, if it was well good on you cuz you got me and if it isn't good on you cuz that sure was sweet!

  11. Very sweet.

So did she stay and see the movie?

Really nice of the theater to go along with that.

  12. It was sweet, too long and the interview with the dad was definitely scripted (I'm not saying this wasn't genuine, just that when the guy planned it, he knew lots of people would be watching it and wanted the dialogue with his father-in-law to be good).
