Rihanna & Chris Brown Follow Each Other On Twitter
In what is probably the first step to publicly reuniting, Rihanna and Chris Brown have been following each other on Twitter. See, what you do is you get the public used to it in small doses. Generally everyone who has commented on Rihanna's page about her following the guy who abused the crap out of her and made her face look like a battered and old shoe have been negative. But, over time people will get used to her following the guy who beat her and punched her and bot her so when she says something like they are going to do a song together, people will kind of be numb to it all. You know, kind of like her face must have felt after Chris punched her in it while he was driving his car and then to make sure he got her really good, pulled over to finish the job. For now though, hopefully people like this one fan can shame her into not going back.
"I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, it's your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls."
So many women throw their lives and careers away on abusive men.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is enough therapy in the world when a woman is addicted to an abusive men.
Her handlers did a good job of keeping her away from him as long as they did.
And this will hurt her career and help his. So of course he wants nothing more then to be seen together so he can get his golden ticket career back. The fact his last album did so well is disgusting.
Is it just me, or shouldn't young girls look up to their moms, or sisters, or aunts, or grandmothers? Call me crazy, but that's what I did.
ReplyDeleteSad. She could have anyone.
ReplyDelete*sigh* Its her life, but jeez, I wish I could shake her & make her realize how dumb this is.
ReplyDeleteTo which RiRi responded something like "fuck you, it's Twitter not nuptials." Apparently the girl was under 18 and quite offended.
ReplyDelete^ Really? So what then. Let her get beat. Maybe next time he'll kill her.
ReplyDeleteSomething about his stupid face really makes me wanna smack him.
ReplyDeleteNo emotion for these people. In fact, I think I am getting jaded or old to any famous idiot under 30.
ReplyDeleteOr I could just start drinking at the job.
She should know better. I can understand him following her, because he's going to be keeping up what's going on with her, regardless. He wants back in that - BAD. I bet they message each other over email and text too. He probably says:
ReplyDelete"sorry, girl. Di'int mean ta bust yo lip, bust yo eye, slam yo head in the car door over and over, punch you in the face and kick you in the stomach and ribs. You know I luv ya, boo. Let's hook up. Don' be scared. Ah ain't no woman beater no mo'. Ah gots me a certificate that says so."
And she probably will go along with it. She admitted to Rolling Stone 2 months ago she is a masochist with daddy issues. That's all the opening Chris needs.
Good lord. Who cares. She's right. It's Twitter. Not marriage. Her career is blasting off into outer space while his is shriveling to nothing. The best revenge is living well, and she's doing it.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the men who should "explain" to Chris what a horrible thing he did to Rhianna? Where are they??
ReplyDeletei agree w/ everyone that this is a stupid move...BUT, i also think it's a case of young stupidity and we may be reading too much into it...who of us at that age didn't keep tabs on an ex (by however means possible given the technology available at the time) and didn't love the masochistic pain of finding out who they dumped us for/who they were dating next, crap like that. once you go thru that pain, and have had enough of putting yourself thru angst, a normal person gets over it and moves on. maybe this is what she needs to do.
ReplyDeleteLet's see in a couple of weeks if they are seen together. If she is stupid enough.
ReplyDelete@Pookie - she doesn't have to follow him to know who he's dating. He's a public figure; the gossip rags are doing a fine job of keeping tabs on him.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad that she has so much success, beauty and wealth, yet her self-esteem is that low.
@valerie...you're absolutely right. but we can't apply our logic to her...or to most anyone, really. we're not in their heads. her twitter, she can control...what she says, what steps she takes; the tabs, she cannot.
ReplyDeleteI'm backing RocketQueen. We should adopt a wait and see attitude on this. Yelling at the poor girl might just make her run back to him faster! Keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't resume a relationship with the Cisco wannabe.
ReplyDeleteUgh. I am appalled at her stupidity and lack of taste, but it's her choice. What a waste.
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY what Sue Ellen said-
ReplyDeleteIt dawned on me when I was still a teenager that these people who have so much influence on what I wear or think or how I view myself are people I am never going to even meet in person!
Once you really look at it like that it seems loco to look up to anyone in the pop/entertainment world.
I know she responded that it's just Twitter but Jesus God, girl, he smashed your face to a pulp!!! There are billions more people in the world that didn't beat your face to a pulp (in a rented Lamborghini). Follow them. Not that worthless, pitiful excuse of a man.
ReplyDeleteWell, abuse wins again.
ReplyDeleteI don't care if it is just Tweeter--it's stupid to do. The guy beat the crap out of her. I wouldn't care if he fell off the planet.
ReplyDeleteLook for Rhianna's career to stall soon at some point. being on twitter hasn't been positive for her at all.
ReplyDeletehonestly i think she is a major bitch,Chris Brown aside. I have never seen anyone be such a c--t on twitter to the public before. Oh and please tell us more about your private jet...and laugh at the enviros that call you out on it. this bitch is on her own.
^seriously?? I've seen her in interviews before & she can come across as a little bit arrogant.
ReplyDeleteI think the whole Twitter debate on this is stupid. If she gets back together with him, then yes, she is officially a dumbass.
