This out B list television and movie actress just cannot resist cheating on her significant other. At this point, she does not even care who it is, or if she gets caught. She is confident her significant other will not leave her. She is kind of turning into the female version of Jeremy Piven.

If it's Portia though, kind of doubt Ellen won't dump her ass...
Just because it says "significant other" doesn't mean the person is gay. And it could easily mean spouse. It's just ambiguous phrasing is all.

If the star is out, to me it means that she is living freely and publicly with same-sex partner.
ReplyDeletePortia and Ellen are married, so I think he'd have said "wife" instead of "significant other." Unless he thought that would be too much of a giveaway as so few out lesbians are married. How about Cherry Jones? Although, I've met Jones more than once and have a hard time picturing her behaving like a female Piven. She's always acted like a first class lady around me. Of course she is a great actress. Sure Enty would have mention her also as a stage/Broadway actress, too? I'm going to go with Lynch.

Anna Paquin? Enty has hinted in recent months that not all is well there. "out" could mean bi-sexual out.

ReplyDeleteJane Lynch is a newlywed, and they look super happy together, so I hope it isn't her! I think it's Portia - again, there were rumors of her cheating in the past, and Ellen might not leave because she's obviously head over heels for her.

I'm a bit confused about the "female version of Jeremy Piven" comment. Jeremy isn't cheating on someone he is having a relationship with. sure he's a pig and all, but at least he owns it and doesn't cheat on anyone.

ReplyDeleteI only know of 3 L Word actors who are definitely "out" - Leisha Hailey (Alice), Daniela Sea (Max/Mora), and Alexandra Hedison (Dylan). Several of them are married to men (Jennifer Beals, Erin Daniels, Laurel Holloman, Rachel Shelley) or dated mainly men.

She's done both film and TV with a lengthy resume, but I'm not so sure I'd call her B list. Not on name recognition.
Alright SOME of the actresses from the L Word. I really didn't think it mattered, since I don't see any of them as B list in TV and movies, and therefore not the answer to this blind.

ReplyDeleteHow is Portia a man-hater? If you're thinking about the time she insisted on talking to a female interviewer about her experiences with bulimia, I hardly blame her.
Not as if men aren't capable of struggling with eating disorders, but they DO predominately affect women. I could see how she'd prefer to discuss her painful past with someone who might be able to empathize. It must be scary as hell to open up about that stuff.
I mean, personally, I refuse to see a male gyno -- doesn't mean I hate men! I just want someone who "gets" my equipment.
Where are the posts that suggest they are in trouble? Anna and Stephen I mean.
