Zach G Lays Into January Jones

Did you know that January Jones summons people? Yes, kind of like that Carmela wave in the Soprano's, when January Jones sees someone she wants to speak to, she sends someone over to get them, or does the little hand gesture. How about a little effort and get up? You can bring that drink with you, you know. I am really curious to know whether she has been able to lay off the booze during this whole pregnancy thing. I am also curious to know whether she has figured out who the father is. What are the odds the guy is married? I say 50/50.

Anyway, Zach G gave an interview to Shortlist.com and the subject of January came up. Zach says he was summoned to January's table once at an event and this is what happened.

"I sit at her table and talk for 10 minutes, and she goes, 'I think it's time for you to leave now,' So I say, 'January, you are an actress in a show and everybody's going to forget about you in a few years, so f-cking be nice,' and I got up and left."

He also said that he would never do a sex scene with her. I'm guessing he is not the father. One person down.

  1. Who's January Jones? I've heard the name, but I'm not sure what she's been in.

  2. She is on the TV show MadMen.

  3. Mmmm. Classy. One of these people is pregnant with mystery spawn, but at least January's not the one vomiting out shittalking hearsay.

Zack Galififnsdifnsakis is a dumpy, lifeless, overrated hack who wouldn't have a career at all if it weren't for Americans and their thirst to see Apatovian manchildren burp and scratch their balls on the big screen.

Honestly, though. If they DID have an altercation like that, props to January for at least saying one nice thing about ZG and moving on with the conversation.

Sounds to me like SOMEone got dissed by a pretty lady and is now pissed off about it. Lame.

  4. Love it! JJ is pretty bitchy.

  5. Honestly, I take all of these stories with a huge grain of salt, and this blog doesn't exactly present a fair and balanced report on certain celebrities - JJ, Heigl, Paltrow - just to name a few.

I really need to know who the baby daddy is.

  6. If it's a red head, we'll know. ;)

  7. Wow. Called out, January. Called out.

  8. Methinks Zach G is trying to make himself relevant. I'd probably tell him to leave my table, too.

  9. January Jones is a raging C*NT.

And @Susan - this story was posted all over the internet during the last week - it's not one-sided. Look around.

  10. ZG has a major moving coming out and she's knocked up by a married chef. Who's irrelevant? He is actually funny and talented. She's playing herself in MM.

  11. I'm happy Zach called out this talentless CUNT!

  12. If the kid does comes out a ginger we still won't know for sure who the father is since there's two possibilities who have red hair. Bobby Flay and Michael Fassbender.

  13. Zach only brought this up b/c the interviewer told him that January had been quoted as saying that he was the most naturally funny man she'd ever met.

So if the party scene was his recollection, I can see why he would think that was a rather funny statement to make. And if she really did summons him to sit and then tell him to leave...yikes.

  14. I loved that Carmela Soprano wave. They'd blur out Edie's face and head and just focus on the hand. COME HERE NOW!!!

I'd expect that lame shit From Paris, but not January. But I love how a little taste of fame really shows certain people for who they truly are. I HATE to say it but Maybe Ashton WAS onto something all those years ago when he called her a talentless bitch.

  15. Ya'll, she might BE a bitch/cunt/whatever other inflammatory word you wanna use (and I've read interviews/listened to commentaries/read the gossipy anecdotes, and I concede that she probably IS), but she's NOT talentless. Her performance as Betty Draper is consistently excellent. She's shockingly good, really. I DON'T think she's as skilled as Elizabeth Moss, but I also cannot imagine anyone else in that role. She nails it, and you can tell she works hard at it.

And, um, I don't think freakin' Kelso really has the right to question anyone's abilities, honestly. Dude should have stuck to modeling because he's beautiful, but his resume is straight-up pathetic. At least January will always have Mad Men.

  16. First I read about Zach G dissing Mel Gibson and now January Jones. Frankly I don't think either MG or JJ is anywhere near perfect but I will share with Zach G my grandmother's advice: if you don't have anything good to say about someone then don't say anything at all! Now, instead of looking classy, he looks like he's in the mud with her. Grandmothers knew what they were talking about!

Daveb, I am interested in subscribing to your newsletter, because you just totally encapsulated how I feel about ZG. He's a pig who takes himself waaaay too seriously. And I'm doubtful that JJ is crying herself to sleep about not being able to do a sex scene with him.

  18. Dear Zach G,

I remember my first beer, too.

    Love,

    January Jones.

  19. Okay - she might not be talentless. I've never really watched Mad Men. I just remember her from that last American Pie movie. The one directed by Bob Dylan's son. I even had her GQ magazine out on my table, the one where she's wearing the leather jacket and nothing else, and my buddy couldn't stop looking at it. He said "Is that really her name? January?" and I said, "Yep, that's her name." He was apparently quite taken with her.

As for Zach G. I do like him, but he should probably stop talking about other people so much. It's a small industry and you never know when you might be face to face with somebody you dissed. Reminds me of when Tina Fey bashed Paris Hilton on Howard Stern. She later said she felt bad about doing that.

  20. I have to say though, she looks a lot like Scarlett Johansson in that photo that enty posted.

  21. yeah! what Ida said. both times.

  22. Ack! What is with all the Zach G. hate? Has anyone watched his stand-up - it's hilarious! He is so talented!

  23. I agree Nope, and the ones commenting on here to defend January like it's some kind of defense contest - me thinks are a little too attached to their t.v. "stories" and have been humping on their tv set when Mad Men is on too much. January Jones is as replaceable on that show, or any other, as much as any blonde skinny actress in Hollywood is.

  24. I love Betty Draper. My favorite scene is when she takes the gun and starts shooting the neighbor's birds in her dressing gown with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. Awesome!

  25. Who da baby daddy? That's more interesting than Zack Snuffalupagus. But that was sad that he overstayed her welcome at her table.

  26. Everyone throw stones at Mel Gibson (for whatever reason I don't know because I skipped his stories). And when someone else does it people get mad and call him talentless. I don't know know about Mel, but Zach G. is pretty funny and a talented comedian. About J. Jones, never watched anything with her.

  27. I don't watch mad men so the first thing I ever heard of her was in an interview she said she "struggles" to keep weight on her tiny frame for her 50's role where women were supposed to be curvy. Really? Stfu.

  28. @Caroline - That scene was bad ass. :)
