BuzzFoto Blind Item
This group of actors from a hit HBO show were out at a party at a hotel when a girl at the party got so wasted she passed out in the swimming pool. She was allegedly one of the better looking girls at the party and the moment she was out, she was surrounded by a load of men that tried to take her up to their room to ‘recuperate.’ This lead character from the group of actors saw what was happening, grabbed the girl from the man who was carrying her up to his hotel room even though it created a stir, took her to the front desk, bought a room for her, and with the help of his costars, put her in the room and quietly left so she could sleep it off.
Adrian G from Entourage
ReplyDeleteI want it to be Game of Thrones so badly. Can you imagine being swept of your feet by Lord Stark?
ReplyDeleteThat is a REALLY good friend/costar.
ReplyDeleteJust re-read it. That is a GREAT actor for doing that for a possible stranger. Makes me so happy!
ReplyDeleteYay for common decency! Prolly someone from Entourage, but just to be different, I'll say Stephen Moyer or Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood.
ReplyDeleteI want to know the identities of the scumbags who would take advantage of that situation. Necrophiliacs, maybe?
ReplyDeleteOr just subscribers to the "a no might not be a no if it not said loud enough and forcefully enough" -
ReplyDeleteJust read this horrible account of a rape case the prosecuters decided not to go forward with EVEN THOUGH the rapist had written a letter to his victim, acknowledging that he raped her and apologizing. He then blamed her for not telling him that her "no" really meant "no" and that she should have given him a safe word. Sickening.

I just saw Adrian Grenier at breakfast a few weeks ago. He seemed very sweet and kind. I watched some of his interactions while my friend was filling me in on her life. He's also a hell of a lot better looking than on film/tv.
ReplyDeleteyes, I second the vote for Adrian Grenier. I believe his dad was not in the picture much when he was growing up and that he would be a gentle and kind person.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the Adrian guess, and what a good and completely normal thing to do. Gives you a little hope for humanity.
ReplyDeleteWhoever they are, I love them to pieces for protecting this woman. And the scumbags who were going to gang rape her while she was unconscious deserve some serious, nasty Karma their way. Reveal this one Enty.
ReplyDeleteBless him and the ones that helped him. I hope you reveal names of both sides of this episode.
ReplyDeleteBoardwalk Empire - Steve Buscemi - sounds just like what he'd do!
ReplyDelete@anabella9--just to clarify, you don't mean to say that Adrian Grenier's father not being around when Adrian was growing up is the reason he would be a gentle and kind person, are you?
ReplyDeleteTurtle from Entourage. I've heard nothing good about the behaviour of Piven, O'Connell or Grenier.
ReplyDeletereveal reveal reveal! oh, and some chocolate please. *if your gonna wish*
ReplyDeleteJust so I'm clear -- this is a feel good story because... an actor and his friends surrounded a drunk girl and brought her up to a hotel room to "recuperate"?
ReplyDeleteYay for the actor being a white knight and all, but but only indication we have of bad behavior on the part of the other men is a set of scare quotes. Objectively, both groups tried to do exactly the same thing -- tajke a passed-out girl somewhere private.
"They're not famous, so they must be rapists," is a pretty crappy thing to presume.
RQ Turtle isn't the lead the character.
ReplyDeleteI think Entourage just had the season premiere party and since it's mostly all actors not actresses it's a good guess. As the story started I thought it was going to go the opposite way so I was pleasantly surprised.
I think AG dated Paris Hilton though so we may be giving him too much credit. :)
Ah, good point Rose. And yes, I think you give Grenier way too much credit. Google some of his experiences with fans. He's disgusting.
ReplyDeleteI'm tempted to back up that Adrian Grenier guess, but I feel like my support of that theory has more to do with those enormous, innocent-looking eyes of his than with any actual evidence or pattern of behavior.
ReplyDelete...Though, not entirely sure what other HBO cast I can imagine partying together. Maybe Game of Thrones? I think Sean Bean would probably come to the drunk girl's rescue.
That's what I am saying! Bean with a sword in his hand! :P
ReplyDeleteWhy not Danny McBride from Eastbound & Down or Jason Schwartzman from Bored To Death?
ReplyDeleteReveal reveal reveal!!! <3

ReplyDeleteBuscemi/Paz de la whatever her name is.
ReplyDeleteLead character, group of actors, nice guy - I'm going with Grenier.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many readers will have a heart attack when Enty reveals that it is Jeremy Piven!
ReplyDelete@tipsy - I like the Steve Buscemi guess - they were probably celebrating all their Emmy noms - but Paz - good looking? Yuck. She looks like Juliette Lewis mixed with octomom.
ReplyDeleteI hope you reveal this.
ReplyDeleteSteve Buscemi is my guess. He went to my High School (Valley Stream Central, Long Island, NY) and knew my brothers. I remember seeing him act in school drama productions. I believe he lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son and has not turned his back on his roots. This is the kind of thing he would do.
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE this to be Sean Bean. I think it's more likely Steve B. because everything I have ever heard about says he's a stand-up kind of guy.
ReplyDeleteJust when I thought hollywood was all bad. This gave me hope:-) Thanks God(waving)...
ReplyDeleteMy guess is Grenier because a group of actors would usually mean a group of male actors, right?
ReplyDeleteNYer--Being someone who has witnessed first hand a man raised by only his mother with his father out of the picture (my cousin), I can agree with annabella9. There is a certain dychotomy between the way a man raises a man and the way a woman raises a man. Having a mother and a father figure, you get the mix of masculine and feminine rearing. Generally speaking, women are much gentler, softer people, and when a boy doesn't have a male figure in his life to give him the more "rough and tumble" influence, (generally speaking, less discussion of emotions, the "be a man!" mentality), it's not abnormal for a man to grow up with a more in-touch feminine side. I'm not saying ALL men are out of touch with their feelings and ALL men who are raised by women are sweet and perfect, but there is a stark difference if you look at men and women child rearing in broad strokes. That doesn't really mean that my guess for this blind is because of that, though. If you watch his first documentary about finding his birth father (Shot in the Dark), and unless he's just a really, really good actor (which if Entourage is any indication, he's...okay), he actually seems to have a heart and, you know, feelings.
Jamee (and anabella9 if you meant what Jamee seems to believe you meant)--I have no interest in kindling the gender-based conflict that flares here on occasion over certain hot-button issues, but I hope you can step back for a moment and think about what your comments convey to men on this blog, particularly younger men. Sweeping generalizations about how an entire gender does something as fundamental to a full-life as child rearing are deeply unfair to those stereotyped and detrimental to the stereotypers. Worse, in my view, they can be very divisive and ultimately self-fulfilling. Life--and especially raising a child--is hard enough without adding barriers to communication and understanding like this to the mix. All of us need to raise our children, both boys and girls, to be good, caring parents who raise kind and gentle children of their own.
ReplyDeleteI do not detect any malice in your comments (I would not have responded if I did) and so do not intend anything other than respectfully conveying my disagreement--but I do disagree and hope you will reconsider your views.
Only thing missing is the guy who tried to take her upstairs should have had the shit beat out of him.
ReplyDeleteGuys - this is a BUZZFOTO blind, not one of Enty's so this will not be revealed on this site.
ReplyDelete@ JP-you read the story wrong, the actor and his friends were not the group with the intentions to rape the girl. That was another group of jackasses who wanted to rape her. The actor and his friends stopped that group and got her the room to sleep in alone.
I think it's either the True Blood group or The Game of Thrones cast.
NYer, I think you're overreacting over a couple comments. That's also not with malice, but I doubt the men or the women reading this blog are going to raise their children or self fulfill any prophecies they based off of one opinion from one story.
ReplyDeleteco-sign Adrian G.
ReplyDeleteShe passed out in a pool? Shouldn't someone have called an ambulance?
ReplyDeleteWell considering Enty posted this on top of a photo asking what ASkar got his honorary degree for, it clearly screams True Blood to this fan...
ReplyDeleteBut I'm a fan. I want it to be the hotasses of True Blood and not the less spank-bankable Eastbound and Down crew..
ReplyDeleteKid Sis - They were posted on two separate days. That's a whole lot of coordination and advance planning. (Not to mention Enty probably doesn't know the answer to the blind because it's not his blind item.)
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Jeremy. I met the dude and talked to him several times on the phone. Like alot of actors they have their ego in hand, but he is a good guy, and this would be something that he would do.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from Game of Thrones on this one :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the guesses but this is buzzfoto so... none of them its a made up blind.
ReplyDeleteNYer--I completely understand your view. Really, I do. I'm simply saying that I understood anabella's point of view, and conveying what I've personally witnessed from someone I've seen grow up and have known my entire life. It is simply one example of one person. And it is not a bad thing. I also think it's important to study and explore gender differences. Because they do exist.
