Okay. This is how I *know* I should probably A) just stick to furchildren, or B) adopt a human son or daughter if I have the time and means to do so one day, because even Jimmy Kimmel's dumbassed and obviously faker-than-hell impression of childbirth made me momentarily come close to passing the hell out. That part about tearing? And "lots of blood"? I mean, I know it's a messy process that's ultimately worth it in the end, but AAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!
And, you guys, I have officially decided that I don't hate Jessica Alba. I have a whole spectrum wherein I categorize this shit, you see...and I just *don't* dislike her at all. I fully understand the multitude of reasons why she should justly annoy nearly everybody, but she just doesn't invoke the internal rage brought on by the sight of, say, Hathaway or Hudson or Michele.
Of course, I've also never actually watched a movie or seen a television show with her in it,and judging by this mere clip, I imagine she's about twenty leagues below dreadful as a thespian.
@Linnea -- that will be the day I win the lottery, become a lady of leisure, and have hoooooours to devote to such a topic.
I can tell you one thing: Helen Mirren, Daniel Day-Lewis, Cate Blanchett, and Kristin Scott-Thomas? Uber-high. Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, and Tom Cruise? Loooow.
hahahaha Ida! you're crackin' me up! i have also recently decided i don't hate me some Alba, too. she is to vanilla to hate. best to save the wrath for other people who are truly and clearly letches...your loooow list is a very good start.
I'm also on board with not hating Jessica Alba. I think she's reasonably self-aware: she knows she's not the most talented - or clever - actress in the world, but also knows that she gets work primarily for her looks. She also seems willing to make herself look silly, so bully for her. A friend also lived around the corner from her for a few years and said she was surprisingly pleasant when not being stalked by the paps, so she wins bonus points from me.
Got half way through and saw enough. Kinda lame.
ReplyDeleteActually, it got pretty freaking funny around the 3 minute mark =)
ReplyDeletei was rather amused :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it would not be so freakin amusing if it was FOR REAL!!!! If men had to do it, we would be doomed as a civilization.

One day, I would love to see every single celebrity lined up on that spectrum of yours, together with detailed explanations for their positioning.

ReplyDeleteThe funniest part of that video was seeing how red with suppressed laughter Asian's husband was getting. Especially after "face vagina."
ReplyDelete^I loved that part too! :)
