Aisha Tyler Joins The Talk - Signs Blood Oath To Julie Chen
After looking at Kris Jenner and Molly Shannon, it looks like Aisha Tyler is set to become the permanent new co-host on The Talk. Earlier this year Aisha guest hosted for a week and apparently was good enough and kissed enough Julie Chen butt to actually land the show. Never mind that Melissa Gilbert is the technical boss of the show, everyone knows it is Julie Chen. Her husband, Les Moonves, is the head of CBS and until such time as he gets fired, Julie Chen will be boss of the show. If Les ever gets fired, I think Julie will run quickly into the night and all those bridges she burned will never be repaired.
I think Aisha is a great choice for a co-host. I try and avoid The Talk or The View unless I am stuck in the chair at the dentist or have been taken hostage and forced to watch with promises of bacon at the end.
Is this the actress who played Joey's scientist girlfriend on Friends who ended up with Ross?
ReplyDeleteyea. i just don't care for this chick. i don't think she's funny.
ReplyDeleteI love her (she has a great new podcast and is on Archer), but I don't love her enough to watch The Talk.
ReplyDeleteI can see Aisha being a good host. Smart, funny enough, attractive.
ReplyDeleteI just don't see how she'll be able to get along with the hydra we call Julie Chen.
Never watch The View and don't even know what The Talk is...but I LOVE Aisha and her voiced character on Archer. It must be a blast doing that character!
ReplyDeleteLove her on Archer.
ReplyDeleteI do feel comforted that Kris Jenner will not be on the show.
ReplyDeleteI like Aisha Tyler but I never watch those shows.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss something about Julie Chen? I love her on BB, but have never heard that she was a nasty person.
ReplyDeleteI actually do watch The Talk and can say that I'm just happy that Kris Jenner will not be a regular fill-in host. But then again I usually only watch it when Sharon is on because you never know what is going to come out of her mouth. And I actually like Julie - she's pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch The Talk either, but I did really like Aisha Taylor on Friends. She's beautiful and comes across as being very smart.
ReplyDeleteI wish she'd do a good sitcom or drama...something I'd watch.
I tried to watch for the first time just the other day and it was pretty much a snoozefest and just a rip-off of The View. I always liked Julie Chen until I read here that she thinks she's the queen of CBS and treats people like crap.
ReplyDeleteShe was a host on E! at one time...on Talk Soup maybe? and she was really good. I've boycotted the show because of Kris Jenner. Can't stand her or any of her offspring
ReplyDeleteI would rather watch an ice cube melt than watch julie chen. at least the ice cube would melt. julie is just frozen solid.
ReplyDeleteI hate those ladies talk shows.
Does he mean Sara Gilbert instead of her sister, Melissa? Sara would make more sense because she is on the show. But, Julie is in charge regardless.

ReplyDeleteIsn't Les Moonves at all embarrassed about the crummy things people say about his wife?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Enty, you are on a downhill roll. SARAH Gilbert is on the View, not Melissa - just like Lou Taylor is a WOMAN. You have a ghost writer today?!
ReplyDeleteThe Weather Network is more exciting than both of these shows, so I'll wait for Aisha elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteAisha Tyler is a snore! When is this crapfest going to be canceled? It's like a poor woman's The View. They even have a gimmick line:"it's always a good time for the talk." Yuck! Just steal the curtains too!
ReplyDeleteGood for AIIIEEEE!sha.
ReplyDeleteI liked Molly Shannon better, but I don't watch the show much, so - good luch, Aisha.
ReplyDeleteI think she is a MUCH better choice than Kris Jenner, although I love Molly Shannon, too.
