Val Kilmer made his return to television and did so with Matt Damon and Andy Samberg and Katy Perry in a digital short on SNL. Really funny.

It was really nice to see Val Kilmer do something, but I didn't think it was that funny. It was odd, not funny - like most of SNL these days. The best bit was Alec Baldwin.
That was as close to funny as Katy Perry got all night.
I really thought that Russell would of popped up in a skit. Interesting, he didn't (other then the clip showed during that awful interview bit)
I loved Val Kilmer in Top Secret when I was a kid, and perfer his Ice Man to Tom Cruise's Maverick any day. I love him in The Doors and Wonderland too. I don't care how difficult and crazy he is, or how rotund he gets he's still one of my all time favourites. He reminds me a little of Brando.
Val Kilmer's one of my favorites too. Had he not been in it, I wouldn't have watched. Wish he did more these days. And I agree that I preferred him to Maverick!
Katy Perry was a dud! I do like the bit with Seth Myers and his NYC tourist guy! That stuff is gold!
