Giuliana Rancic Is More Religious Now

Over the weekend, Giuliana Rancic gave an interview to Kneepads and talked about her faith. She said that prior to her breast cancer diagnosis she and her husband would go to church every Sunday. She also says they still do. What has changed though she says is that "We prayed on our own, but now we prayed together and you'll never know how much that means until you do it. Bill and I have changed our lives in that one way." In reading the article, I never knew she was just 27. It seems like Giuliana has been on television way longer than a decade. Isn't Bill like 49 or something? Is 27 really right? Seriously? That seems way too young.

  1. That muppet is NOT 27. Give me a break. I think she took a good ten years off her actual age.

  4. ^LOL @muppet!
Yeah, I thought she was late 30's and that's why she was trying so hard to get pregnant, because she didn't have alot of time.

  5. She was 27 in 2002.

  6. Remember when no one cared about the folks who actually reported the news/gossip? This is why I hate reality TV, she's a Hollywood gossip reporter but now she's a celebrity? Ugh, getting off my soapbox.

  11. Wow, 27! About fell off my chair on that one. Yeah, definitely a typo! She's 37. For now, I'll blame the person who wrote the article & the proofreader.

I don't know why, but I kind of like her. Maybe it's because Bill's a Chicago boy, so I trust his judgement. I find them more tolerable than a lot of other celebrities, and I find their reality show watchable.

  12. Giuliana was born on August 17, 1974, according to Wikipedia. That makes her 37, nearly as old as I am. Chances are that Kneepads' fact-checkers made a mistake during the vetting process.

  13. And actually, when you read the piece, it states that she's age 37. So it looks like Enty was reading too fast.

  14. Cosign with SpunkyPR but then I always rail on about the heinousness of reality tv. God I hate it and the "celebrities" it has spawned.

  15. I miss Jules Asner and Steve Kmetko.

  16. I like her, and if praying with her husband is helping her get through this, I'm happy for her.

  17. The article says she's 37.

  18. Boggles my mind that she and her husband have their own reality show. BOOOORING!

  19. What Patty O said

    Double ditto

  20. I think she is actually older than 37. I think she shaved about five years off her age. She's born in Italy, so it would be hard to fact check that thoroughly.

I was reading on Yahoo that she is STILL getting invitro treatments! I think those treatments acerbated her cancer.

  21. For some reason this reminds me of that Family Guy episode where Lois runs for city council by basically just saying "9-11" at the end of every sentence. Shoo-in. She knows what the people like!

  22. RQ- good point!

That's how I feel whenever anyone says something along those lines though.
When I read that they've found religion again my first thought was, okay, when's the book deal coming?

  23. I like her. I think she's pretty down to earth especially when compared to some Kartrashian. I wish her all the best.

  24. I almost fell out of my chair when I read "27." hahaha

I can't hate on her for what she said. She was already religious, so I can see how something like this might make one question things or look at things a little more closely.

  25. Well, good for her. Some find religion when brushed with death, some lose it.

However, I have a hard time believing her. It's for People mag. and their readers. She's trying to re-direct her career out of that little hobbit's reach. Must be tiring all the time to have to deal with Seacrest's diva-esque/Napoleon-ish attitude.

I'm a bit pessimist when it comes to those Hollywood type who know too well how to build a reputation in order to make a career.

  26. The original article did say 27 so apparently it was fixed when people pointed out the mistake. Enty's not losing it! Well, not in this case, anyway. ;)
