Lindsay Lohan Is Being Sued Again
Last September, Lindsay Lohan blew through a red light at a busy intersection and hit a woman who was pushing a stroller across the street. Now Lindsay is being sued. This is not a case of someone who may or may not have been hit, the woman was hit. She even has witnesses who saw Lindsay blow through the red light. I think at this time Lindsay has three lawsuits now active regarding her driving. Two from hitting people and one where she drove those guys around after she stole their truck and chased her assistant. I think she is also being sued about that tanning thing, but that might have settled. She is also being sued by the population of the world for sucking the life and energy out of our daily lives for the past three years.
How does she still have a license?
ReplyDeleteI never understood why she wasn't arrested for hitting the nanny and endangering the baby. I hope the nanny takes her for everything she has left. Which is not much if she's being ordered to pay for rehab, but a lot when she goes shopping every day.
ReplyDeleteIt's California. She's a celebrity.
ReplyDeleteHell, Vince Neil killed a guy and he got 30 days in jail and was out in 15.
EXACTLY @Vicki --- he killed a drummer that I loved, and that piece of shit still drinks and drives.
ReplyDeleteWtf, does she have cops on the take? Is she regularly servicing a judge? How can this little twat still be on the streets rather than locked up? I wish someone would just go and tip off the Feds on tax evasion, do a real justice system could get her
ReplyDelete@ Vicki - Rebecca Gayheart also killed someone while driving and got a relatively light slap on the wrist. I don't think she was intoxicated, though.
ReplyDeleteTotally off topic: I am making a new exercise CD - any suggestions for some good songs?
And lets not forget Halle Berry hitting someone and leaving the scene...
ReplyDeleteBrandy was involved in a fatal accident too but her lawyer claimed that it wasn't her fault. She ended up settling out of court I believe.
ReplyDeleteMISCH: That is what made me hate Halle. She left, went home, and called her plastic surgeon.
ReplyDeleteOne more. Didn't Orlando Bloom walk away from his injured friends after he crashed into a Porsche?
ReplyDeleteWhy can't these folks just hire a driver?
Mango - songs I love:
ReplyDelete"Ready to Run" - Dixie Chicks (starts off all my runs)
"Finally" - Cece Pennington (?)
almost any dance song by Shakira
"Sound of the Underground" - Girls Aloud
"Murder on the Dancefloor" - Sophie Ellis Bextor
"Rock DJ" - Robbie Williams
Mango-I'm old school
ReplyDeleteI like Ain't no Stopping us Now on the treadmill. I also like Chaka Khan Ain't Nobody. Two ain't songs.
Yet another: Matthew Broderick killed a mother and daughter in an accident in Ireland. I'm not sure if he was drunk or not, but he also very seriously injured Jennifer Grey and he got off scot-free.
ReplyDeleteLindsay Lohan will keep driving and doing these things because there are absolutely no consequences to her behaviour. Why would she stop?
ReplyDeleteMango - I don't always run, but when I do, I run to gangsta rap. I don't know why, I don't really listen to rap otherwise, but for exercising, it's gold.
Should I be spelling it "gangster rap" though?
ReplyDeleteJust because the California legal system refuses to put Lindsay behind bars for any real time or take her license away doesn't mean the nanny won't win big money in a civil suit or a settlement (go for whatever is left from the Playboy money that the IRS hasn't already claimed).
ReplyDeleteSeparately, I've wondered whether a person physically injured by Lindsay's driving -- or whether a family where a member was killed when Lindsay was driving recklessly or under the influence -- could sue the f*ck out of the city, county, and state for failing to take away her licence and deal with the issue.
@ Maja - Girl, makes you sound like you got you some street cred when you say "gangsta". ;-)
ReplyDelete"She is also being sued by the population of the world for sucking the life and energy out of our daily lives for the past three years."
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!!!
@ Mango - that's what I was hoping for! I feel so much better now *L*
ReplyDeleteJust to be snarky - Enty, you chose to post about her so it was your own fault that she sucked the life and energy out of your blog for three years. You could have ignored her like She Who Must Not Be Named. (Whom you totally just named today in a later post. WTF?? Has hell prozen over?)
ReplyDeleteI hope that one day our case will settle and we'll all see some cash from Lindsay sucking the life and energy out of us.
ReplyDelete@Mango - I made a list of songs that I exercise to for RenoBlondee on Sunday 1/22/12 under the Simon Cowell is in Rehab - for Cigarettes post.
ReplyDeleteI hope she has to pay big.
ReplyDeleteentitled asshole.
Why is this loser not in jail yet is my question.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the nanny only suing now? This happened years ago. Weird.
ReplyDelete@Maja/Mango - Rap is heavy on my running list as well. ;) Also on my list: Freedom 90 (George Michael), Groove is in the Heart (Dee Lite), New York Groove (Kiss). ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't get why the nanny waited so long to sue either? I think she is only suing for medical expenses and loss of wages, which seems pretty fair to me.
@Mango-Cupid Shuffle(Cupid), ROCK in The USA(John Mellencamp) Tuff Enough(Fabulous Thunderbirds) Statesborough Blues(Allman Brothers)
ReplyDeleteHush(Deep Purple)
Kiss(Prince)
I Can't Stand Up(Elvis Costello)
Its Raining Men(The Weathergirls)
Livin in America(James Brown)
In a Gadda da vita (Iron Butterfly)

@Nola and everyone else that gave me sugestions last weekend, Thank you!!!!! I'm def gonna get some of those.
ReplyDelete@Mango, Anything LMFAO is great to run to. The B.E.P's too.
My teenager recently gave me two songs that I was embarassed to enjoy running to.....Porn Star Dancing (My Darkest Days) and The Bitch Came Back (Theory of a Deadman). Ahem. Also Roman's Revenge (Niki Menage ft Eminem) is great for a run.
@Maja, I love running to some gangsta rap too and I don't really listen to it normally either. Lol
I love the love for Razzle from Hanoi Rocks. I still listen to their music.
ReplyDeleteIf you can stand heavy metal, I've been way into Iron Maiden's "Number of the beast" for running.
@Mango - I'm with Maja, love the gangstas while I move it. Random favorites right now:
ReplyDeleteTil I Collapse - Eminem
Down on Me - Jerimih & 50
Damn near anything by 50
California Love - Tupac
Won't Back Down - Eminem & Pink
Teeth - Lady Gaga
Wind it Up - Gwen Stefani (very gangsta)
Roman's Revenge - Nicki Minaj & Eminem

ReplyDelete@Maja @Renoblondee -
ReplyDeleteMe too! Don't really listen to rap, but it's the only thing that keeps me going on a run! I figure its because rap has such strong beats, it helps me stay on track and keep my pace.
@Mango- IDK for sure if Rebecca Gayheart was sober when she killed a child (I think) in a hit and run. I don't think she stopped. She reportedly also has/had a heroin prob... but maybe that started after the killing?
ReplyDeleteEither way if any of these people didn't do this in California, it would be really different. In Mississippi right now they are holding an over 80 year old man in jail (with no bail I believe) for driving his wife to chemo early in the morning when it was still dark and failing to stop for a school bus, and in doing so hitting and killing a kid. Not saying he shouldn't be accountable or lose his licence... or that Miss. is the best example of the rule of law... but seriously, these other folks who can afford proper legal representation or to settle out of court but also work/live in a state that NEEDS the entertainment industry shouldn't be above the kind of treatment this unfortunate, not wealthy or famous old guy is getting. It's beyond irritating.
And also Mango/others totally agree gotta go gangsta when running, some personal faves include tracks from the Wu (Enter the 36 Chambers, GZA's Liquid Swords, Method Man & Redman- the Jumpoff) or Jay-Z (Black Album). If you can deal with some old rock music I also think When the Levee Breaks is an awesome distance song because it keeps you going so well w that beat, Rock N' Roll by Led Zep works too but more for sprints... other oldies but goodies include Don't Stop Believing... and ANYTHING from Appetite for Destruction. Can't go wrong with old school GnR.
[She reportedly also has/had a heroin prob... but maybe that started after the killing?]
ReplyDeleteI always assumed the drug abuse came after the accident. I've heard her talk in interviews about it and while she doesn't talk about the details of the accident, she says it pretty much destroyed her and couldn't function for a couple years. Not to take away from what the parents are going through. I know she settle a wrongful death trial and paid for the funeral.
