Star Jones & Barbara Walters Reuniting On The View

Star Jones is returning to television and she is doing it on the show The View which she famously left. According to the NY Post, Star will be discussing heart disease on the February 22nd show. Yes, heart month is in February, but I do notice the producers scheduled Star's appearance during the last week of sweeps so ratings probably trumps heart disease.

When Star and Barbara got into those frequent fights and Star left she probably thought she was going to make millions on her own and that people everywhere loved her and that her husband was straight and actually wanted her. How times have changed. Do you think she wakes up everyday and wishes she had stayed? Rule #1. Never leave a hit show. Rule #2. If the hit show is on during the day and you only have to work an hour a day, and get 8 weeks of vacation per year, pay someone to whisper in your ear once an hour to never leave the show.

Um, Star returned to TV some time ago. She on the Today Show several times a week as a legal correspondent and as one of Today's Professionals, which actually is fairly good segment.

It's always a shame when someone believes their own press. David Caruso is the supreme example.

The tiffs between Barbara and Star were actually what some people tuned in to see.

If she's working steadily and invited back often, good for her. Life teaches hard lessons.

and don't try to squeeze every sponsor on the show to pay for your wedding in return for unauthorized plugs on The View (networks don't take kindly to that)

I would be more interested in seeing Rosie visit the View. Star will be a toothless tiger. She knows she screwed up and is just trying to get back in her majesty's good graces.

Yep, @Del Riser, Caruso is a good example, and there are so many others--Star should have learned from them. Like Shelly whatshername who quit Cheers too.

Memo to Star: A hard head makes for a soft azz.

I hate to admit it, cuz she's so annoying, but Star is rally looking good now. Her face doesn't have that loose skin look anymore. Maybe she got a facelift, but whatever, she's very striking looking now.

Yeah, Shelly Long was on a couple episodes of Modern Family and her desire to become a regular was tangible right through the screen. In the more recent one though, something was VERY wrong with her appearance.

Sorry, I seem to be obsessed with appearances today, sigh.

She got fired, she didn't quit.

Oh Jesus. Star is always pimping/promoting/milking something. To do so using heart disease as the excuse to come on - she is shameless. And she's going to be kissing Barbaras ass as well.

I think Star is a smart lady, but she just comes across as cold (and kinda bitchy) on everything I've seen her in. I saw Sherri Sheppard & Yvette Nicole Brown on WWHL & they said she's really not like that in real life.

I don't think Star is someone that can "share" a show with other people. She needs to do her own thing.
