Adele Is Singing At The Grammy Awards
Yesterday Adele confirmed what everyone had already guessed, namely she will be performing at the Grammy Awards. So, when you have not been singing because of surgery and you start again, how much do you practice? Are you afraid it will go out on you? The last thing she wants is to go mute on Grammy Award night, but at the same time you want to make sure the voice works. I wonder if she will cancel on the Brit Awards which happen one week later.
I love her and I hope she rocks it. I just hope she gets her nerves under control and doesn't puke before going on stage anymore. That can't be good for the healing process.
ReplyDeleteThat's a scary dilemma she has to face. Rest the voice and risk a bad performance (on the Grammys no less) or practice and lose your voice for the show. I have lost my voice completely a few times, and I have to talk for a living, so I feel her pain.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she's better and hope she stays that way!
ReplyDeleteYay! But I hope she's not rushing it...
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready to hear her sing again. I too hope she is fully healed.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know if her voice will have changed. She has access to the best vocal coaches in the world so I'm sure she can do it...just wondering if she'll sound different.
ReplyDeleteYes Maja I think her voice will change and for the better. She will NOT go out on stage without first having warmed up and is most likely in therapy where she has been stretching her vocal cords back so she can perform safely and correctly. She'll sound more amazing than ever.
ReplyDeleteIs that supposed to be her in that twitter photo? It looks nothing like her.
ReplyDeleteI might even actually watch the awards if she's going to perform. Or I'll DVR it and fast forward.
ReplyDeleteWell, now I have a reason to tune in, don't I?
ReplyDeleteI despise award shows, but I'll suffer thru the grammys just for her :)
