Today's Blind Items - Keep Your Daughters Far Away

Not too long ago, this actor was an A list movie star. He was everywhere and seemingly every movie he ever touched turned to gold. He had an actress wife who was beautiful and everything seemed like it was never going to end. The actor, while not particularly skilled at acting was making ht movie after hit movie. The one day it all seemed to go away. You don't go from number one to the C list that quickly without a very good reason. That reason was that our actor got caught in another country with a 13 year old girl while making one of his movies. This was not the first time he had been caught, but this was the most serious because this girl was also hurt very badly. Our actor had been drunk and had beaten the girl really severely. In this particular country 13 was a legal age of consent so the police there did nothing to him, but the producers were scared out of their minds about this getting out because they had a lot of their own money invested in the movie. So, they covered it up. They paid a huge bribe to everyone they could and the movie made them their money back. They refused to work with the actor again though and told everyone why. Suddenly no one would touch the guy and no one would make movies with him. He tried to make some movies on his own but hired really bad people to work with him and was always more interested in booze and young girls then making movies. He kept making the movies in other countries with very loose laws about consent and now our actor is a struggling D lister who might trigger something in your mind from time to time. The thing is our actor seems so moralistic. He isn't though and now he has taken his ways back here to this country and is up to his old tricks. He doesn't want to go to jail so he tries to keep the girls he is with at least 16 which he figures is safe, especially if he is paying them enough. Well, their pimps anyway. Plus at this point no one recognizes the actor who used to be one of the biggest stars in the world.

Nah, I don't think it's actually him, but I've been wondering lately why he suddenly just disappeared.

  3. Oh wait, actress wife precludes Mel, never mind.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Yep I agree with Segal. I was an extra on one of his movies years ago, and he was a pig.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think spacecowboy78 got it, with Kelly LeBrock as the actress wife.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I have no idea but none of the answers so far seem right.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Didn't know Segal was married to Kelly, hmmm. That could work. Except was he A-list?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow. No clue who.

But was Segal really A list at one point?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I like the Steven Seagal guess. He went from being a big action star to a reality show. Most of his movies are direct-to-video now.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'd say he was an A list action star for about 2-3 years in the early 90's.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm on board with Seagal too... just for fun, here's a list I found:

  12. I like the Steven Seagal guess - he was accused of sex trafficking a few years ago and he was married to Kelly LeBrock. But was he ever A list?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wasn't Segal always a joke though?

Who are old action star A listers?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Im not sure about Segal...maybe Jean Claude Van Dam?

    ReplyDelete
  15. @ seaward - JRM has kind of been in and out of rehab, hasn't he?

Who other than Madonna pays to make their own movies so they can star in them? Whoever this person is I hope they DIAF.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I like the Steven Segal guess

The only thing that is strange to me is the last line. That the guy is not recognized. Steven segal has a pretty distinct look IMO. ......

    Hrm

    ReplyDelete
  17. I like the Seagal guess. He was definitely A-List for a couple of years, around the time Under Siege was released Well-known for beating the crap out of LeBrock, which just seems sad, but consistent with the deets here.

    ReplyDelete
  18. yeah, i think you guys are right...Segal fits better...still looking for other candidates though...

    ReplyDelete
  19. The part about making his own movies immediately made me think of Gibson, but nothing else fits. According to imdb, Steven Seagual has been producing all his own stuff lately.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Chuck Norris
    Van dam
    Segal

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Grey - he has gained a hundred pounds, so it makes sense that no one would recognize him.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I was getting a Ben Stiller vibe while reading this.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I think the main clue is the combo of beautiful actress wife and D-list status today. Of the other stars of the action movie boom of the early 80's - early 90's, he's the only one that fits the disappearing act and the wife. The other stars (eg.,Willis, Stallone, Van Damme, Arnold) mainstreamed to a degree and/or did not have an actress wife.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anonymous10:25 AM

I like the Steven Segal guess. I think he was once A-list in the early 90's. His piggish ways have followed him throughout his career.

    ReplyDelete
  25. If I remember correctly, there was a blind about a star who made all the women costars sleep with him, and it may have been revealed to be him. In fact I think one popular celebrity called him out on it...Damn it can't remember who. I want to say Charlize, but I'm not sure...

    1. Was definitely Jenny McCarthy

  26. There are some lecherous stories about Segal. He believes very much in the casting couch. I wonder where he's been making movies? If he's been hanging out in Thailand, then it's probably him.

Other than him the "actress wife" throws off some of my other guesses. I notice the wife isn't list-rated. Many actors marry an "actress," but it's some woman who really hasn't done anything and no one's heard of. In other words, an attractive groupie, but she's described as an actress.

    1. Kelly LeBroxk was HUGE after Weird Science and I believe she was a model too.

  27. Seagall is also the reincarnated Grand High Poobah of the Tibetan Buddhists, which would add strength to any theory that he is a pedo. Monastic and priestly folks share similar tastes in every culture.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ooohhhh ben stiller!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nicholas Cage. The actress wife was Patricia Arquette.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Re Segal - didn't Kelly Le Brock accuse him of beating her?

    ReplyDelete
  31. "The thing is our actor seems so moralistic."

This is what's keeping me from thinking it's Seagal, even though most everything else points to him.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The only problem I have with Segal is that he may have been A list 20 years ago. The blind opens with "not too long ago" I'm think something more recent, at least no more than 10 years if not closer to 5.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ah, it was Jenny McCarthy that told the casting couch story of Segal.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Segal had some trouble a few years back in Louisiana. Weird stuff. All I have ever heard @ him was very unflattering or awful. And his faux N'wlins accent makes me want to punch him.

    ReplyDelete
  35. ok after digging around the internet I'm on board with the Seagal guess...wikipedia says he made a lot of direct to video films after his career tanked in the 90s, "mostly shot in Europe or Asia"...Kelly Le Brock, accused of having Russian sex slaves, casting couch, moralistic, etc...and back in the early 90s he really was a huge star...but even then there were questions about his "credentials" in martial arts, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Reading this I though of Segal, then the part of seeming moralistic, he has a show on some cable channel called Lawman or something where he is a sheriff for real. So he is out trying to bust bad guys while he is ruining the lives of young girls and paying pimps.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ahh.. Just found this on article from Enty dated 4/13/10

Way, way, way back in the blind items there is one about Steven Seagal. I need to dig it out. It was like from the first few months of the site. If I recall it was about the same type of thing that Steven is being sued for now by an ex employee. Kayden Nguyen is suing Seagal for sexual harassment, illegal trafficking of females for sex, failure to prevent sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and false representation about employment. All of this in just five days of employment. In her suit she also says that Seagal has two women who have the job of sexually servicing him 24 hours a day.

I am just shocked that she managed to stick around for work for four days. After seeing what she saw, you would think she would have left after five minutes, especially since she alleges that Seagal groped her pretty much right from the beginning of her employment

    ReplyDelete
  38. check this out about Seagal:

    http://diaryofahollywoodstreetking.com/steven-seagal-extorted-by-raffles-for-his-preference-of-underage-girls/

    ReplyDelete
  39. But what is the part about something that triggers us to think of him from time to time? I can't think of any big taglines or anything from Segal or Stiller...

    ReplyDelete
  40. I like the Val Kilmer guess. He definitely looks practically unrecognizable these days because he has gained a TON of weight. And he was married to Joanne Whalley-Kilmer who I believe accused him of domestic violence during their marriage.

Also, Segal has a new TV show coming out on one of the cable networks.

    ReplyDelete
  41. "Not too long ago" is very subjective. To me, 1988 wasn't that long ago.

MAC, Sharon Stone had some interesting things to say anything about Segal.

Segal, at the top of his game, was definitely an A. His movies made money. As far as seeming moralistic, he was always preaching peace, tranquility, living healthy, etc, like he was some yogi.

Aa far as Nicholas Cage goes, who WON'T make a movie with him? He's everywhere.

Not 100 percent that this is Segal, bit he fits factually and this fits with all the rumors I've heard.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Steven Seagal was most definitely an A list celebrity. He was able to sell a movie on his name alone at one time. He was considered an Box office action star. That makes him an A list.

If you look at his top 10 movies, they were all back to back before 1996...which was the year he and Kelly divorced. After that, his movie reviews seemed to drop.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Definitely Seagal ... He's been in Canada for the last 2 years filming a TV series (True Justive) ... age of consent in Canada is 16.

Also, while he does have a distinct look, he's so washed up now ... I'd easily pass him on the street and not recognize him.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I like the Val Kilmer guess but there was a time when he was a pretty good actor. He was phenomenal as Jim Morrison.

    How about Vin Diesel?

    ReplyDelete
  45. I say Val Kilmer? I know there was already a blind about him but I'm sticking with it. Although, Steven Seagal seems like a good guess.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Seagal is definitely moralistic. He's tries to put up a big altruistic spiel about Native American naturalism and environmental consciousness. Plus his movies are always casting him as a Clint Eastwood wannabe.

I think this has to be him.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't think I've ever thought of Val Kilmer as an action star.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Just to be different - Kevin Costner?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Once again you guys got it quick. I'm on the Seagal train.

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Jennifer H. - it doesn't say anywhere in the BI that it is an ACTION star...

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see anywhere that says this is an action star.

    ReplyDelete
  54. How about Eddie Murphy?

Like others, I'm pretty sure it's Seagal, but I'm just going through the list of former A-listers that can't get the time of day now from Hollywood...

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think the "Moralistic" aspect is pulled from Seagal's life as a sheriff deputy.

    ReplyDelete
  56. It's not Kilmer. The post mentioned bad actor. I'm on board with Segal. However, Dicrapio could be a possibility. There was plenty wrong on the Beach shoot.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Having looked it up, there are very few places where the age of consent is 13; Japan (for males, 18 for females,) South Korea (for male or female) seem to make the most sense in relation to Steven Seagull. That the age of consent is 13 anywhere is pretty surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  58. What's so ironic about this is his 1st big hit was 'Above the Law'. Which is what he thinks he is.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I will have a deeply troubled opinion of the NOLA police force, if this is Seagal.

Not that I now think the cops in NOLA are all angels or anything (or any cops, anywhere)...but this is highly disturbing no matter who it is, and if it was someone who is also a COP? That's beyond scary!

  61. Wikipedia mentions something about a lawsuit against Seagal in 2010 involving "trafficking of females for sex." Looks like the plaintiff got paid off and dropped the suit.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I was thinking maybe Michael Keaton, but I just looked he has been working steadily, just not in anything much I have seen or heard of besides voice stuff in Toy Story. So I guess I will say Seagal too.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Actually, I have to amend that statement; 13 is the age of consent for male or female according to federal law in Japan, but often prefecture law overrides federal law.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I reread and am still missing where it says it has to be an action star.

    ReplyDelete
  65. When I was reading this blog, I kept thinking of Tom Cruise. No one else got the vibe? "Far and Away"...Nicole Kidman. Was a A Actor and now C. Didn't Tom try to own a film production company with some other actors?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Val Kilmer a bad actor (was for a longest time the youngest person to get into Julliard)? Tom Cruise a struggling D-lister? You don't have to think it's Steven Segal but those are absurd guesses.

    ReplyDelete
  67. This article is about Jenny Mccarthy's run in with him in 1998, which I would consider "Not that long ago."

  69. The "from time to time" clue makes me think Van Damme because of Timecop.

    ReplyDelete
  70. " He had an actress wife who was beautiful" reminds me of Steven Seagul's ex, Kelly Lebrock in that commercial where she says, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful."

    ReplyDelete
  71. I just googled age of consent in the countries Steven Seagal ahs worked in as a producer.

Since 2000, Steven Seagal has produced films shot in Germany (legal age = 14), Thailand (legal age = 15) Canada (legal age = 16) and the US (new Mexico - legal age = 17.)

His show True Justice is filmed in BC and his film in post prod was filmed in Canada, too.

As a Canadian: go home, Steven. Ick nast.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm on board with the Steven Segall guess. I remember when he was EVERYWHERE so yes, he was A-list for opening movies the same way Bruce Willis was A-list for the Die Hard franchise. He pops back into the spotlight every once in a while when his old movies or TV shows are on cable or whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Segal wasn't with the NOPD. He worked for the Jefferson Parish police dept. Many of moons ago he trained the JPSD in martial arts and I guess he was such a success the long time sheriff Harry Lee (may he rest in peace)deputized him. So he's been an "unofficial" member for a long time. Hence the "lawman" which was SUCH a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  74. It looks like we have a winner...Steven Segall fits the closest. Yet another reason to dislike this douchetastic skeezball.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It doesn't specify that he was an action star, does it? So, it could be anyone who's gone from A to C/D. Too hard for me to narrow down...

    ReplyDelete
  76. With everything everyone has said, Segal FTW.

Val Kilmer was terrific in his films when he broke, especially as Van Morrison. I don't know what happened to him because he was quite hunk and now he literally looks like a pig.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I immediately thought of Val Kilmer, too. But I don't think he's making movies in other countries. Wasn't there another similar blind and everyone thought it was Mickey Rourke?

    ReplyDelete
  78. I think "action star" may have gotten conflated via the Janet Charleton blind. That said, I've got no reasonable guess; actress wife *and* makes own movies -- Segal fits and no one else who does is showing up in my brain.

    ReplyDelete
  79. @msgirl Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison. :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. The board has convinced me Segal, but I was thinking Val Kilmer at first too, only because he looks soooo unrecognizable. He used to be my Big Hollywood Crush. Now I would call the cops if I saw him near my property.

But yeah, he's a great actor. He stole Tombstone from everybody. And he was even better in Top Gun than Cruise.

    ReplyDelete
  81. The spiritual guru thing Segal tried to put forth sums this up for me as "moralistic".. what a creep.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Steven Seagal. And we can thank that prick Michael Ovitz for foisting this douche on us.

    ReplyDelete
  83. in which country is it legal to sex with a 13 years old teen???

    ReplyDelete
  84. Val Kilmer never was in hit movie after hit movie...Segal was in 10 in a row. Val had a hit movie...a few not so great...and then a hit movie. He also is getting a lot of work lately and playing Mark Twain as his most recent gig. Not Val. Val has a nasty, horrible and entitled personality and is extremely difficult to work with(which is what he's known for), but not for shady sex with minors.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think the last sentence rules out Seagal. He's very recongnizable and for some reason, he's still popular.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Can anyone explain the Himmmmm reference I read about on all the boards? I'm sorta new here...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Himmmmm was someone who would comment on blinds with inside information. Lots of people thought it was Robert Downey Jr because of a few dropped hints, but I don't think it was him. He left a bombshell of a comment outing Hayden Panettiere however it is spelled as a girl whose father used to beat and rape her, her mom, her friends, so now she is all into kinky shit.
He also revealed there is a book called Room 23, basically a coffee table book with artsy shots of celebrities, by a woman named Diana Jenkins. Himmmmm claimed Diana is some big time madame & the book is actually her list of celebs she pimps out.
Himmmmm eventually left a whoa-crazy comment that was his last hurrah, but it was just something everyone already knew. Kirk Douglas (almost wrote Cameron haha) raped Natalie Wood.
Recently someone named Himmmm has been commenting & the people around here have yet to pick up on the fact that the real Himmmmm had 5 Ms. New guy only has 4 Ms.

  87. I think some clues fit JC van Damme, except the beautiful actress wife.. (he shoots a lot of movies outside US, apparantly alcoholproblem, most movies are produced by himself)

My second guess was Burt Reynolds, he seems like a douche an he was married to Loni Anderson, big sexsymbol back then..

    ReplyDelete
  88. Stephen Seagal without a doubt. Soap Actress Hunter Tylo also stated he tried to use casting with her when she read for Under Seige.
Also, I worked security in the Superdome, when he was the King of Bachus and married to Kelly Lebrock. He was trying to pick up as many women as he could in his limo. (At the time he was the King of Bachus, he was one of the major action stars in the US.)

    ReplyDelete
  89. Micheal Keaton, Kevin Kline and Steve Martin used to be in everything in the 90s, but I highly doubt it's any of them.

  92. (Pardon the typos-I'm on an ipad presently posessed by satan's own wi-fi).

THIS is supposed to be a blind?
I suppose I assumed everyone on this planet knew about Segal. Then I realize most other people live in "normal" places.

Scratch that scab and a river of pus will flow. Common knowledge in Howood = Segal was a very legit dojo master who trained Ovitz in the 80s in martial arts and Asian culture. Ovitz made him a mega star. Then Segal teams up with Julius Nasso (whose alleged mob ties are skeevy as hell and added to Segal's attitude). So after Segal rapes and pillages the earth, he sets off this entire dead-fish-on-the-windshield hellstorm with journo/writer Anita Busch, which involved Anthony Pellicano. Which led to HIS undoing, and that of director John McT. as well. Yet Segal walked away without a nick.

Yes, Segal was married to Kelly LeBrock. Kelly was once a very, very sweet/funny/smart woman who used to be a total riot who would do anything to help a stranger. She could also cheat you out of your boxers at poker and make you enjoy it. I'll NEVER understand how/why she ended up with Hong Kong Fooey.

Segal's a monster. If you took Hitler, Idi Amin, Joseph Kony, and John Wayne Gacy - rolled them all up into one being, stuffed him into a Mark David Chapman creepy-fat-suit...that creation would STILL look like a loveable Snufalufagus next to Segal.

But that's just my opinion. Mine, and a million others. What I'd really love to read would be Tom Arnold's opinion on Segal. I've heard it's quite colorful for some specific reasons.

  97. I talked to Segal on the phone for 5 seconds once. After reading the comments, I'm jumping on the bandwagon. What I find surprising is that he was a close friend of a former co-worker who was "ex" (if you're into conspiracies, LOL) CIA. Supposedly they were both enlightened black belts. My co-worker was also into Dolphin studies and was part of the Remote Viewing program of the '80's. What surprises me is that he would be a friend of a pedo. Then again, he had really weird eyes and kind of creeped me out (the "ex" CIA thing).

  103. Steven Seagal? Marlon Brando's fatter, more poneytailed doppelgänger? (Courtesy of Sterling Archer).

    Is Seagal moralistic?
Exhibit A: Steven Seagal Lawman, which reveals he has been a reserve deputy sherif for two decades.
Exhibit B: On Deadly Ground, a movie he directed. The film ends with a long monologue about ecology and pollution which is completely paranoid and ridiculous. Apparently, it was cut from a much longer version that the studio vetoed.
Seagal played the character of some innocent guy who wants to protect environment a few different times.

Is Steven Seagal delusional? Check his numerous blues albums, self-produced and promoted.

Anyway, I'm not sure that Seagal was really black-listed. Actually, the kind of movies guys such as him, Chuck Norris, Stallone, Van Damme, or Schwarzenegger used to make fell out of favor at the same time. Stallone was able to come back due to him returning to his important franchises, Schwarzenegger stopped his career for obvious reasons but all the others are now on TV or direct-to-video. Van Damme at least had "JCVD" to be proud of.
And Seagal still worked on a big budget movie as late as 2001, with Exit Wounds, which was produced by Joel Silver. He made another Hollywood picture, then it was Europe and Asia all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  104. "now our actor is a struggling D lister who might trigger something in your mind from time to time."

"Trigger", huh...perhaps like a "Lawman". Never liked that guy.

    ReplyDelete
  105. So the moral of this blind is it's okay for producers/big wigs behind the scenes to be pedos, but not okay for actors.

My point being, there seem to be plenty of big shots in Hollywood who are pedophiles yet they're not blacklisted.

This shit needs to stop. People need to come forward and send their pedo asses to jail.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Steven Seagal was never an A list movie star...action or otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I rarely comment, but I just had to say that the Hong Kong Fooey reference made me, literally, laugh out loud. I had a mouthful of wine. I'm going to be laughing about that comment for some time because it's so perfect. I know, this is a horrible story to be laughing about, but I think it has a sort of happy ending because everyone in Hollywood knows what this guy is.

  108. Ugh - this "blind" makes me so mad. Men like this need a good kick in the ass. I honestly wonder what happened to them to make them so f'ed up.

What makes this even worse is they were filming True Justice 4 blocks away from my house on Saturday. Gives me the creeps know a scumbag like that was in my neighbourhood.

  109. all of this pedo stuff reminds me of the comments that corey feldman made after corey haim died....that the pedophilism (sp?) in hollywood is rampant but no one will rat out anyone else.

  110. Angela, the only way to get blacklisted in Hollywood is to stop making money. But hooking up with organized crime-types and threatening a well-liked reporter from one of the two (at the time) entertainment trade papers with physical harm in a very hokey ham-fisted way will scare away investors. And if you can't entice investors for your cheesy, ham-fisted, quasi-zen, moralistic, melodramatic projects there are limited other ways to make money.

Himmmm, I think your intel is wrong. Seagal was never a respected dojo master. He knew enough to snow Ovitz. And Ovitz's hubris was such that he decided he could make a star of anyone. Seagal just happened to be in the room at the time.

  111. Sadly, I don't believe Segall (if he's the answer) got blacklisted for assaulting a 13 year old. I doubt most powerbrokers in Hollywood care. I think what he was blacklisted for was nearly derailing a movie. It cost to cover up, but would have cost a lot more if the movie was scrapped. All those people care about is money.

  115. @Helen Lawson as much as it pains me to say it Seagal was in fact the first foreigner to open an Aikido Dojo in Japan. You can't fake that kind of stuff over there.

And @NaughtyNurse he was definitely A when Under Siege was released. It was huge.

  116. In 2005, 15 movies after he made Under Siege he filmed Into The Sun, in Japan, where he has a certain comfort level having lived there as a teen... Coincedently age of consent is 13 in Japan.

  117. I love you Himmmm (& Enty too!)

  118. One thing I should mention is that whilst looking up age of consent worldwide, was stunned to discover in Vatican State it's 12. Yep that's right 12 years old. Less disturbing is age of partner must be within 3 years to avoid prosecution.

  119. Not to beat a dead horse, and I dont believe the idea of who himmmm is (although I'd love to believe it)

Steven Segal was married to Kelly LeBrock who was in Weird Science with. ..........

Ps- i am the current world champion of six degrees of Kevin Bacon, this is how i Think.

    Lol!

  120. Just a question for Himmmm. I don't understand how people in Hollywood can get away with this type of behavior, is there no one willing to speak out against the exploitation of children? against the casting couch and how women basically have to have sex to even work? Hollywood is supposedly so enlightened, and they insert themselves into so many causes, yet something like this is just accepted. I don't get it at all.

  121. Bored Soccer Mom made me have to IMDB the movie and sure enough, and a John Hughes movie too, on the "good guy" list!

  122. Astrogirl, from their site

"Tenshin Dojo was founded by Yuriko Fujitani in 1974, mother in law to Sensei Take Shigemichi (a.k.a. Steven Seagal in later years), who was the Chief Instructor at that time."

and from wiki: "He became the first foreigner to operate an Aikido dojo in Japan."

His mother-in-law gave him a job.

  123. Huh...I was with Seonaid Divine - my first thought was Richard Gere, too - seems more "moralistic" to me. Shows what I know! ;P

  124. @BlindItemDiva: There is one and only one reason this "kind of thing" goes on in Hollywood. Money. Big money with the kind of zeroes that will pop your eyes out. Seagal was a huge money maker for the powers that be for a a long time. The Big Boys (pretty much all boys still, which explains a lot) didn't want to harm a feather on their golden goose, despite the fact that he was always nothing but hype. I know a lot about Seagal because someone very close to me played a VERY big part in one of his last profitable movies. It was a long very big budget (for the time) production. My "friend" could dine out every night on jaw dropping, horrific, and often bleakly hilarious Seagal stories, to this day. Pretty much everyone who has worked (and with Seagal, 'worked' refers to everyone else, not him!) with him has a story that sounds unreal but isn't. Some of them find him ridiculous & harmless. Others find him a true monster. From my "Friend's" account, I'd say the man truly is mentally unhinged. And dangerous to women. But he certainly provides all of Hollywood with some amazing but true "war stories."

  125. @Hendrix Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions. Your comments though make me think the majority in this industry are nothing but hypocrites, morality and doing the right thing, speaking up when injustices are done and the exploitation of people no matter the age or their sex are accepted when it's done within the industy, yet these same people will come out with their cause du jour and expect to be taken seriously when they turn a blind eye to things like this.

  126. This is veering off subject but apparently the age of consent IN VATICAN CITY IS 12 YRS OLD!! There is so much I can say, and want to say but it is all so obvious. Please can someone prove me wrong?I read it in an article in the british newspaper 'The International Express'. I haven't checked it out because it makes perfect sense and makes me perfectly sick...

  128. "In the Vatican State, there is an equal age of consent set at 12 years of age" [34][35][36] based on the Italian laws of 1929, when the city state was founded, which remain the laws of the Vatican State today. In matters of criminal law, as per Article 3 of the "Law of the Source of Law" (one of the six fundamental laws adopted upon ratification of the Lateran Treaty in 1929) the Vatican State used current Italian national law, as well as regional and municipal laws for Rome, as long as they do not conflict with ecclesiastical law or laws specifically promulgated by by Pope for the Vatican.[37] In 2008, the Vatican ended automatic adoption of Italian laws because many of them were seen as being in conflict with Catholic doctrine."

  129. @lulu you can just Google it.
    From Wikipedia:
    "Vatican State

The Vatican does not have its own separate criminal code. Instead, in matters of criminal law, as per Article 3 of the "Law of the Source of Law" (one of the six fundamental laws adopted upon ratification of the Lateran Treaty in 1929) the Vatican State generally uses current Italian national law, as well as regional and municipal laws for Rome, as long as they do not conflict with ecclesiastical law or laws specifically promulgated by Pope for the Vatican.[80] As a result, the age of consent is 14, the same as Italy's. Before 1 January 2009, the adoption by the Vatican of changes made by Italy in its laws was automatic. After this date, the Vatican adoption of changes in Italian law is no longer automatic but comes into effect only after a review.[81] However, as Italy adopted its present age of consent before 1 January 2009, this change in Vatican policy does not affect the age of consent in Vatican City, which remains the same as Italy's."

  130. During the time my "friend" was working on Seagal's action flick, the studio was constantly writing hush money checks to various women he harassed. It was not even a big secret to everyone on set. After witnessing some horrible incidents during casting, the director of the film actually warned the actresses on the film never to be alone with Seagal in his trailer.

  131. Jackie Chan was busted with an underage girl in China a few years ago.I would say he definitely fits the brief of the blind People are taking about it since the whole Zhang Ziyi(can't spell her name) prostitution scandal. Apparently the Chinese entertainment industry is very harsh on women, and there are monetary cover ups all the time.
