Brian Austin Green Admits Dating Megan Fox When She Is 17
Brian Austin Green talked about all the Megan Fox pregnancy rumors but really didn't give a definitive answer. he just said that people have been saying Megan is pregnant every three months since they got married. Really? I don't think so. I think this is the first time anyone has said anything. You can tell that Brian is a controlling guy. Just look at this quote he gave Kneepads.
"I think it's interesting. I think there is a part of Megan that people really love that is, at 18 she found a relationship and she stuck with it, and we've been together for coming on eight years now. It will be our two-year wedding anniversary, but we've been together for a long time. She doesn't represent what people are used to seeing in a young actress."
What am I used to seeing in a young actress? Oh, and Brian really needs to start practicing his math or keeping his story straight. He didn't want the world to know that when he was 30 he was interested in a 17 year old teen.
So, he always says they got together when she was 18. The problem is that Megan is 25. So, 25-8= 17. I'm sure he will say they did not have sex until she was 18. He was a 30 year old guy who has taken control of her life since she was 17.

Just out of curiosity, I looked her birthdate up on IMDB. She turns 26 in less than two weeks. So since he said they're "coming on eight years together," she could have been 18 at the time.
This seems like an instance of trying to create controversy where none exists.

He may or may not be controlling, but I didn't get that from that quote. There aren't a lot of young actresses that have a long term, monogamous relationship. There aren't a lot of older actresses and actors who do in Hollywood.

The age of consent in UK is 16 and 15 year olds dating wouldn’t phase me.
My husband is 6 1/2 years older than me. I don't even notice the age difference now. Though it seems weird at 18, I really wish I had started dating him when I was 18 and he was 24 and avoided the losers that I did date at that age. I never knew my husband when he was in his 20s and I wish I had!

A 30 year old man dating a 17 year old girl is all sorts of wrong.
Enty's totally right, IMO, the power balance between the two cant help but being off. For christ's sake he had been a legal adult since she was 6!
I understand you all apparently had fantastic expereinces boinking some old dude when you were a teenager but that doesnt negate Enty's (rational) point.
If she was actually 17 at the time I'd agree, but she was not.
I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 30. He used to come into the restaurant I worked at and, while I didn't go out with him for 3 months we each thought the other was about 25. We have been together 28 years and, trust me Enty, he NEVER controlled my life. I have always, and continue to, run my life the way I want. We couldn't be happier, have raised 2 wonderful children and I cannot imagine loving someone more.
Wasn't there a blind item (here or on ted's site) about a man controlling his actress wife - showing up at photo shoots, claiming he made her. People were guessing JLo and Marc A, but I wonder if this could be it. The guy was named as being less famous.
But he didn't rightfully point out anything. He was wrong, only by a year but it's enough to have made her legal.
I didn't boink any old dudes either so that doesn't have any affect on my opinion.
@unknown, I don't remember that blind but when did Megan become pretty famous? I know she was in a TV show with Kelly Ripa but was she already Megan Fox the movie star when she started dating BAG?
The legal age of consent here in Illinois is 17. I realize that they are not in Illinois, but my point is that the age of consent varies. They're, what, in CA? What is the legal age there? If it's 17, then this is a non-story to me. Actually, it is in general to me anyway.
Whatever, I like them as couple. They seem like they actually get along and are madly in love. Besides, she seems to also love his son very much. That about seals it up for me. They are great for eachother.

This is a non-issue. My husband and I met when I was 17 and he was 38. He's never controlled me and the age of consent in PA is 16. Big whoop. Way younger kids have babies and reality shows these days. I don't see the issue.
It's not rational if the age of consent is usually 16 or 17 in a lot of states. Not rational unless they were cousins or he forced her into it. Honestly, sounds like "enty" (2 or 3) being a bit of a b!tch about BAG.
Also, he thought I was 24 at the time cause I told him so. Didn't tell him my age until I was 18 and graduated high school.
I don't know about any kind of power balance. Many 17-year-old "girls" are every bit as mature as 30 year old 'men'.
That being said, safer to stay hands off til 18, anyway.

My bf is 37, I'm 25. We started dating when I was 17, and are still going strong. Age is just a number sometimes, it depends on how mature you are. And I just happen to like older guys, always have haha (before some asks, yes, my relationship with my dad is very good, so no daddyissues haha, just sayin' since that seems to be the first thing people assume)

@Becki, we try, as much as possible, not to make personal attacks on each other. Jasmine has not attacked you. Your comment seems to have come out of the blue. I hope you continue to comment, I just felt, personally, that the comment on Jasmine was an attack and had nothing to do with the post.
Agreed with above. Why the personal attack on a commenter? If you disagreed with something Jasmine said you could have said that. Jasmine's obviously enjoying life in her pic. I Don't see anything wrong with that.

I remember when I was 18, the oldest guy I dated was in their early 20's.
Each to their own but personally I would be suspicious of the motives of a 30 year old wanting to date so young.
He's actually a pretty stand up guy that's a home body and likes to generally keep to himself.
People seem very defensive, but I agree with Enty on this. Not today that every older guy is controlling, but I do think this one is. He has this energy, he comes off as being jealous. I've heard stories from plenty more sources than Enty that imply that not only is he controlling, but tht she tried to break away many times.
Obviously she married him, so there's more to the story, but a lot of girls marry men they feel controlled by.

I've approached numerous venues but alas, no one is willing to take an old worn out 40 year old and her dozens of children because my family suffers from the rare disease known as glass and mustache disguise-itis. It mainly affects the areas around the face and renders its victims nearly unrecognizable, so no one can tell us apart.
Except Becki of course, who has the magical powers of ascertaining not only age but if one has children and how many they have simply by peering at the facial-obsuring diguise. It's really quite a talent. She should market that.
