Francesca Eastwood Gets Death Threats

Francesca Eastwood is getting her first taste of celebrity and everyone is starting to discover that she might just be worse than all of the Kardashians combined. In case you have no idea who Francesca is, then congratulations and I don't want to sully your brain cells any further and am giving you the opportunity to walk away now and you will be a better person for it. Still here? Glutton for punishment huh? Francesca is the daughter of Clint Eastwood. She is also on a new reality show with her step-mother. Oh., and she dates Tyler Shields. He is the photographer who has probably had sex with Lindsay Lohan and made Mischa Barton pose with meat all over her body. Well, in his latest "art" piece he had Francesca destroy her $100K Birkin. Like set it on fire and use a chainsaw on it destroy it. First of all, I'm not sure wtf Clint was thinking when he bought his kid a $100K bag. Second of all she obviously has no use for it if she was willing to destroy it. The death threats are because the $100K could have gone to charity or some other useful purpose. When Jay-Z and Kanye destroyed a $200K car, they gave an equivalent amount to charity. No death threats.

For her part, Francesca says that people don't understand art and that she doesn't care what people think and its hers to do with as she pleases. Yep. Worse than a Kardashian family reunion.

  2. aside from the obvious...what kind of bag could possibly be worth that much? Is it lined with diamonds? I have NO idea about fashion, obviously, but it seems such a waste to spend that much on a bag (and a very ugly one, I'm sorry).

    1. It was a birkin. They range in prices from $25,000-$150,000.

  3. Yeah, why exactly are they 100 grand? I don't get it. 1 grand maybe.for designer shit, but that much?

    1. Yeah, i dont get it either. Its a frigging purse, for chrissakes!!! Unless it can paint the house or build a moon rocket, no way i spend that dough.

  4. I am really over the whole shame on them for not donating every single penny they make movement.

    ReplyDelete
  5. No one is asking anybody to donate every penny they have. Good for you for having enough money to not see setting $100,000 as a slap in the face, joella, but for people who are of less means that's exactly what it is.

  6. I could go buy a VERY close-looking replica in bright orange by Michael Kors at the TJMaxx down the street for $179. Matter-of-fact, I might just go buy it today.

  7. Obviously she did this for attention so why should we not talk about what a stupid bitch she is for doing this? These tricks are going to ruin Clint Eastwood for me and it pisses me off.

  8. Also, is that crocodile or snakeskin? Dumb bitch.

  9. The 13 year old punk rocker in me LOVES it...but the almost 40 year old yupster that I actually am can't help but think how many fams that could feed or how many bottles of wine I could buy!

  10. Birkins vary in price, depending on the material they're made out of. There's also the matter of people being willing to shell out money to get higher up on a waiting list - Hermes is smart and has created a "mystique" about this paticular bag - hard to get, exclusive, and costly. They are deliberately slow in manufacturing and supplying their botiques with bags, all of which drives up the cost. That being said, though - I've NEVER heard of a Birkin costing $100k - Hermes must have really seen her coming :)

  11. We’re alll struggling through our countries’ recessions and this entitled bitch sets fire to a bag that cost enough to feed a whole community. As if we needed another trashy family on TV. I had respect for Clint who was a legend.....until I read about this bitch. Shame! And is that bag made of lizard skin? Even more shameful given that several are under threat of extinction.

  12. The alleged 'art' is in the public reaction. The publicity bought by this is the story.

    Art, sure..

  13. I just don't understand why Clint Eastwood would let this whole reality show happen. I'm not saying that he should "control" his wife or anything, but it was his name used as the gimmick for the whole thing, so I would think that he'd have some say in it. He has spent so many years proving himself as a talented, serious filmmaker and now this will be his legacy.

    1. Clint has like 7 kids. Alot of them a little off the wall. It goes with the territory- famous father, money, living in hollyweird. If this gets people to say, " dam that a crazy price for a bag! Im nit buying one!". And then the bag becomes symbol of waste and decadence, then im on board.

  15. It's nice that Jay Z donated $200K but I am not seeing any difference between him and this girl. He still destroyed something that cost twice as much as this purse.

  16. I have lost some respect for Clint for taking part in this reality show. Yes, he can't control his wife, but she should know better and show some respect for his career/legacy.

  17. Did anyone see this episode before commenting? The bag did not belong to her. Her boyfriend bought it to destroy it during a photoshoot and Francesca borrowed the bag for 3 days because she wanted it for herself. Dina then told her that the bag was disgusting because Dina's schoolteacher father's salary was a 1/3 of the cost of the bag and walking around with such a bag was an insult to hardworking people. Then Francesca returned the bag to her bf to destroy it. He has a series of pics destroying "symbols of famewhores".

  18. it's too expensive for a bag!
they did what they want with their money but no bag deserves 100 K

  19. @ Borg queen - THAT is way more interesting to me than the way this is being presented.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @BorgQueen:thank you for the explanation

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Borg-I did see that part! Wish someone would put the link up for that part of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @BorgQueen - I did not know that and would never know since I won't watch the show. Thanks for elaborating. She could still have sold the damn bag and donated the money. It does not change my bitterness at these women ruining Clint for me.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Again, it is the publicity brought by this that is the key and the reaction of the public to it.

You don't really believe that the show was not scripted with that in mind?

..and it will work because now more people will watch it ...

  24. Could not sleep last night and this show was on after 1:30 am. Both of his daughters were vapid airheads and the whole thing was so bad I watched something I'd seen all ready. Is E really that hard up for shows. They could film my family. We don't destroy things or make Sex tapes so I guess they would not want us. Also, never been an airhead.

If we don't pay attention, these people won't become as famous as the Kardashians. We could start with a ban on them. If blogs don't write about them, they don't get the fame they want. Start the trend!

  31. Trashing a designer handbag in this economy for the sake of "art" is pure assholery, there are starving kids who could benefit from $100k here and around the globe, I hope her piece of crap show tanks.

  32. What BorgQueen said. Tyler bought the bag to destroy for a photom Francesca did not, and Dina was dead set against Francesca carrying it. For God's sake, know something about this before you write about it, Enty. My question was how Tyler could afford that bag. And he seems kind of pervy. And her looks are disturbing, eyes so wide set and no chin. That said, she seems like any other girl her age. She bears no responsibility for that bag's purchase, just her bad judgment in boyfriends.

It's just sick that someone would actually pay that kind of money for a purse. I really mean that -- it's sick.

Also, I don't wear animal products, so every time I see a bag made out of animal skin it grosses me out. Ostrich? Lizard? Croc? Yuck!

But I don't watch any of the reality shows (except RHO Ny & Bev Hills) so maybe I'm not the target market.

  37. I was amazed when I read that Clint Eastwood allowed his family to do a reality show....
Francesca is the daughter With Francis Fisher right ?
But his current wife and daughter are also in the show...
Personally with Clints money I would have paid them all not to do the show...greedy idiots

  38. Tyler Shields is a total douche. His website is just filled with self-glorifying bullshit and his photography isn't really any good. He just ended up around a crowd of young hollywood people that were willing to get fucked up with him and take stupid ass photos, so they get seen. Unlike the stupid artsy photos my friends and I used to take when we thought we were SO edgy.

  42. For $100k do you get to at least sleep with the 1967 version of Jane Birkin a few times? Does Jane still get a piece of each sale? Somebody needs to educate these people who would spend that kind of money on a purse about art or something. If you want to throw away six figures, at least you can support starving artists by buying their paintings.

  45. She burned a fake Birkin bag.
I'm flat out amazed that so many people have fallen for this!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Even if it were a real Birkin.. who cares. The more bags she burns the better. Great for the company, great for the store and great for the people who work there. The more money the wealthy people spend the better it is for everyone else.

That said... kids who grow up like this don’t know the value of money and you can’t really expect them to. They will never have to work. They are not like their parents who actually had to make the money these kids get to squander.

Let them squander away.. I’ve never been the jealous type.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I actually have never heard of this person, and therefore have no idea who she is. She doesn't even look familiar to me.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I could care less. Burn it, don't burn it. Wear it, don't wear it.

    Whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  49. This girl is beautiful, especially without the bleached hair. She has those unique features of Francis Fisher, but softer looking. Too bad she's not going into legitimate acting instead of this reality crap. You'd think between her parents that she would be an actor.

Can we talk about why this weirdo Tyler Shields, who is 30, is dating a 19 year old girl? Come ON, what a predator! His photography is unimpressive and masochistic.

    ReplyDelete
  50. If you want to become disillusioned with Clint just read his Wiki page.

$100,000 for a Birkin is about middle of the road for that type of bag. Check ebay.

The bag might not be real - but I bet the IRS tax deduction will be. All this would be tax deductible for Tyler Shields.

Yes, the 99% should be upset about this.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sad and pathetic, all of it. Poor Clint. It is like taking advantage of the elderly to do this to such a great mans legacy. Also, Frances Fisher is an amazing actress and wonderful person who has done everything for her daughter. It is like on that show she doesn't even exist from what I've seen so I feel bad for her. And burning that bag that an innocent animal was murdered for is not only fucking dispicable but retarded as well.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I dont understand why everyone always responds to these types of posts with "donate to charity" and "gross to spend so much money because people are stuggling." The money was already spent when they bought the bag. It wasnt "extra" spent when they destroyed it. Buying and destroying that costly of an item doesnt make poor people any poorer, or people's struggles any harder. The money wasnt intended for starving kids or people with less means, so they didnt miss out on a thing. Sheesh!

    ReplyDelete
  53. oh, and I wasnt terribly impressed by the photos.

    ReplyDelete
  54. there is a purse that costs $100K? why?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I agree with her, except I don't think she understands art either.

And why aren't people mad at the photographer?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I can only assume that Clint is entering dementia to go along with this stupid show.

I'm with Noetje (sp?) - the more money the rich spend, the better. There is some validity to "trickle down". And I also believe that as long as it's your own money you spend, and you're not charging things to credit cards you'll never pay off, good for you. But I'd love for this stupid chick and her stupid photographer friend to get a serious reality check.

    ReplyDelete
  57. On both sides this seems foolish

  60. who gives a fuck? If they bought and paid for it they are free to do as they choose with it. Isn't that what America is all about with your freedoms etc?

That money wasn't earmarked for the needy, it was theirs to spend how they want. This whole hand out "where's mine?" crap is a bit much. I find conspicuous consumption to be distasteful but it's their money.

    ReplyDelete
  61. "That money wasn't earmarked for the needy. This whole hand out "where's mine? crap is a bit much."

Boy, are you sure you are not a USA taxpayer? More and more of us are feeling exactly that same way.

In the end it was all fake and designed by PR shills for the the new fake show to attempt to sell us more fake crap.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Destroying a Birkin bag most definitely could be done in an artistic way, but this is not it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm showing my age here, but Enty -- didn't Eastwood try to persude Fisher to abort their baby? The way he succeeded with that other actress who wound up suing him?

    ReplyDelete
  64. its because the elite just dont care! they think they rule the world and they can do what they want. its disgusting. dehumanizing

    ReplyDelete
  65. yeah its an ugly purse. gross!!! 100k! WOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I tried to watch about 10 minutes of that Mrs Eastwood show and it's awful.

I'm praying this doesn't turn Clint into Bruce Jenner. I've always liked his movies.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I just saw Dina in an interview promoting the show and while she seems like a nice enough lady, I can't help but think this is going to end up blowing up in their faces. Or maybe just Clint's.

I cannot believe Clint agreed to do this, although supposedly he has little to no involvement? And it's on E! So will Joel McHale be skewering Mrs. Eastwood??

    ReplyDelete
  68. I opted to pass the point of no return. That being said, death threats from people who think she could've used he money for good is in your face ironic. I'm a flaming liberal, but C'Mon you assholes! Really?

It's like everyone in H'Wood is shopping for a reality show. I'm just sad that this one is piggy-backing on Clint Eastwood's good name.

  70. If you haven't read this book, and are interested in this type of thing, check out Michael Tonello's "Bringing Home the Birkin: My...." [And Enty, it IS a story about how to buy all the Birkins you want -- Not bacon. But some people adore Birkins as much as you love bacon;-)]

He learned how to get around Hermes' 'wait lists', pursued and purchased the bags all over Europe and South America and then kept himself afloat by reselling them at a good mark-up.

Hermes finally 'busted' him. However, he was kind of tired of the life by that point and was ready to move on.

It's a fast and funny read, and it's pretty cheap on eBay.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I am a little confused as to where the pricing is coming from on this bag. At auction, this bag with diamond and palladium hardware has sold for double the price listed here. But I have seen and touched an orange crocodile Birkin bag with diamond palladium hardware in an Hermes store, and it was $80k.

That being said, I don't even see diamonds on the hardware here. Which would further diminish the price on this bag.

Contrary to popular belief, Birkin bags are not very hard to come by. Especially in France. The only waiting list I've come across is either for specific colors, or in Beverly Hills. Other than that, I've seen stores that have multiple bags. You need to request seeing them, and be a serious buyer is all.

Personally, I don't really understand why everybody want's one. They're extremely impractical (undoing that clasp every time you need to access your bag is a REAL pain- and keeping it open lets everything droop out/gives everyone easy access), scratch terribly easily because the quality of leather is good, and they are very easy to spot when they are real- which makes you a moving target. The bags that are truly hard to get from Hermes- like a Kelly pochette, are much more desirable anyway.

    Who asked for my input?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Also, I wouldn't doubt it being a fake. It does look a bit like plastic burning and melting.... but, I'm no expert. And I don't like the photos anyway!
