Kat Von D Has A Scary Stalker

TMZ is reporting that last night Kat Von D got a call from an unidentified man who proceeded to ask Kat several personal questions before she hung up. He then sent her a text. That promoted a call to the police who sent a bunch of officers over and even sent out the chopper over her house which took it away from mine. Every night in Los Angeles you hope and pray there is no crime within five miles of your house or tyou will have a police helicopter circling over you all night and if it is close enough then you will even be fortunate to be blinded by a searchlight while you are trying to sleep. I'm pretty sure the people in those helicopters enjoy that very much. Kat thought the suspect might be on her property. It sounds like the beginning of Scream so always better to be safe.

  1. I don't care about her but that helicopter info was interesting (not being sarcastic). That must be annoying.

  3. Here it's the NYC police helicopter, the Port Authority helicopter, the NJ State Police helicopter, the ABC, NBC, CBS, and tourist helicopters just for the fun of it.

  4. I have no respect or interest in her, but she doesn't deserve to be terrorized by some stalker.

Maybe it wasn't a stalker, but a really pissed off wife? Now that, she might deserve!

  6. So the lapd have the resources to just break out helicopters all willy nilly when a simple comb of the neighborhood by foot or car would suffice?

  7. Want to change the headline to:

Kat Von D IS A Scary Stalker

I hate the police helicopters. Here, summer nights, it seems like they're constant. I live close to a sketchy (high crime) neighborhood, and summer seems to bring out the crazy.

  8. Sometimes I'm sad that I live in such a boring city. Three minutes into the local news, they're already covering a retirement party for some city official or something. But then I watch Detroit news and I change my mind. No offence Detroiters (Detroitians, D-Tors??).

If it's true that a helicopter was sent to her house, that is a waste of resources. I can't imagine those things are cheap.

  9. Jesus god, a helicopter for a phone call and text? Maybe this has something to do with why California is bankrupt.

  10. For about five seconds after I saw this pic, I was thinking, what? Marisa Tomei is in a new crime thriller where she plays an undercover agent posing as a tattoo artist?

Then I drank my coffee. And put my contact lenses in. Oh, her.

Shaking my fist at thee, enty, you debbil.

  11. lol, CommaChaser. hee!

idl this kat asshat person AT ALL. she's an asshole. BUT, ita...no one deserves a stalker. reality checks like that make me an even a bigger supporter of responsible gun ownership. but that's a whole 'nother topic. #beenthere

Wow, you know this guy must be a whack job -- because he's stalking her, of all people! Gross!

I can't believe the LAPD sent out a helicopter for that. Ridiculous. I don't even know if the Houston PD has choppers -- I've certainly never seen any. We have about a million traffic-watch helicopters, though. Those are annoying enough.

  13. Hey Anita - I think he Detroit news ( at least channel 4) started out with the weather last night!! Lol. But yes every night there's a story on a murder. Right now it's the Backpage murders. 4 ladies that were escorts that were killed last year in the D. They raided white people's houses in the northern suburbs. Oh and the bashara murder

  14. No one should be subjected to a stalker. A silent foot patrol might have been a better way to catch this guy.
Vegas uses choppers a lot, it drives the dog wild, as he guards the sky for me as well as the yard.

  15. The only time we get choppers is in the daytime during early summer - cops looking for pot in farmers' fields.

  16. My first thought while reading this was that I hoped this was a real story and not a scheme to garner public sympathy after the Jesse James debacle or to get her name back out there. How sad is that?

  17. Oooh, Del, you're lucky. I never felt I needed sky protection but now that I think about it...

  18. Wow, I must live in Hicktown, USA, because the police here don't even have a helicopter. The nearest one is in a neighboring county (I think), and I haven't seen it in forever.

In fact, there isn't much of anything flying over here anymore. I think it's because we live so close to Oak Ridge, and there's a no-fly zone over most of it, because of all the nuclear stuff and whatnot.

  19. @anita_mark,I'm not kidding, if we are ever invaded from the sky I will be the first to know.

We have six foot walls all around our yard, so anything in the yard or in the sky above the yard that looks different gets checked out and or growled at till he's satisfied we're safe. It's a quarter acre so he stays busy.

I should mention we're not paranoid, Summerlin in Vegas requires the six foot walls.

  20. of course her stalker is scary!! She is scary!! And she has had so much work done, stalker may be mistaking her for someone else! lol
All kidding aside, stalking is a nightmare` hope its rectified soon.

  21. @TexShan HPD does have them. They just only use them when it's warranted, such as to help monitor a police chase or find a suspect that fled a violent crime scene on foot. Anything to apprehend a criminal at the scene. What they don't do, however, is actually, try to solve crimes. Car stolen, home burglarized? They don't care unless there was blood. Even when you do the investigative footwork for them and practically hand them the resources they need to find the thieves. Ugh. Yes. I'm bitter.

  22. Bally - I know Knoxville has a helicopter. But they may. Not use it much

  23. You know, telephone communication can go over long distances:O So why bring a helicopter unless you are sure the creep is standing close to the house/same street.
What are they gonna do, fly over the whole/city/state/USA to localize people who use a cellphone, then jump out of the helicopter dramatically and arrest him?
I know you are a little extravagant Kat, but a helicopter? Girlfriend, please.
    Just sayin'

  24. Ah .. how I do love living in a tiny .. well, actually, two .. city where we don't have to deal with that crap [helicopters and spotlights] unless it is extremely important. That and no BS televised high speed chases where the idiots want there 15 minutes of fame so they refuse to stop for a broken tail light. Ya .. "flyover states" have their pluses.

  25. there?? Want there?? Holy crap! Someone hit me! How about THEIR .. want THEIR. Ugh ..

  26. I live in Oakland, CA with choppers! There are news choppers and police choppers. Last night there were about three for the protests.

Maybe she is stalking herself for publicity? She has been out of the news for a while.
