Mick Jagger was great on SNL this weekend.

  1. OT - Samantha Brick has opened her yap AGAIN. Why doesn't Enty post about her? I need a proper place to vent my rage but don't want to sully my own blog. Oh, THAT'S why he doesn't post about her. Trophy wife, my ass!

    (Yes, Jagger was good.)

  2. I watched he was good but gee he looks like he's made out of old cracked leather, shriveled and small like a preserved thousand year old man out of the bog in Ireland.

  3. I love Mick. If you lived that hard you'd look like hell too...have ya seen "Keef"? I actually can't believe either one of them are still alive...especially Keith. The Stones will always have a special place in my heart.

    1. As a humorist daid about them years ago, if they had any plastic surgery, it was done at Home Depot, lol

  4. Greatest rock n roll band evah! Celebrity stars come and go but entertainment institutions like the Stones live on. Sorry I missed Mick, I'm so out of the habit of watching SNL. Off to Hulu.

  5. He was great. My husband and I kept looking at each other saying, "Wow, he's really good!"

  6. Don't care for his music, but agree that he was great on SNL this weekend. And his music was better than I remembered. He was hilarious as an actor though!

  7. Seriously. That was about the best show of the season! Mick was funny, he sounded great with the band, The difference between his skits and the skits Channing Tatum (attempted) to do, were remarkable. A sad ending though- I'll really miss Kristen Wiig.

  8. EmEyeKay, why don't you run when you see her name? I'd rather watch a full season of a Kardassian show than read anything she says.

  10. The karaoke skit was a hoot. "What era Jagger are we talking about?" Mick was gracious, playful and energetic. He was game to poke fun and laugh at himself.

  11. I thought it was embarrassing. He should never act. And Arcade Fire is terrible. WHy are people's standards so low?

  13. EmEyeKay, I haven't read Samantha's atest missive, but I would say calling herself a "trophy wife" isn't that far off considering the fugly husband she has. It's all relative... ;)

  14. Ok I read the brick's article. It doesn't really have anything new in it that she hasn't said before...she's just presenting it in a more blatantly provocative and clearly demeaning-to-women manner than she had in the past. I read some of her older articles at the time of her first brouhaha with the court of public opinion, and one article was particularly repugnant because it detailed how her husband hounds her about her weight. This is just more along the same vein. He's such an asshole....he himself is a disgusting fat slob but he holds her to a different standard.
