Cannibal Porn Star Hiding In Paris

French police say the Canadian man who used to be a gay porn star and is accused of killing his boyfriend and then eating and chopping up body parts which were mailed to government offices has been spotted in Paris. Apparently Luka Magnotta flew to Paris immediately after the killings and has gone on several dates with men since he has been there. Hopefully they are all still alive. French police raided one hotel room but missed him and believe he may st times be dressed as a woman. One man told police he had slept with the killer the night before and called police after the killer's photo was shown on French television. This guy scares me a lot. Anyone who does we has done to animals and people and says that he does it for the thrill and for people to watch him needs to be stopped.

If he makes it to Aruba, he'll be a free man.

he's too narcissistic to really go into hiding. he's loving the attention. who goes to paris to hide out from the authorities?

he'll be caught pretty soon. that said, those canadians are pretty nice and don't lock their doors or anything, but their serial killers are at least as bad, if not worse, than ours.

The best part is how other attention-seeking sickos are no doubt going to top this, seeing how much press this has gotten.

I guess that is marginally better than the quiet ones who just keep doing their thing for decades and do a good job of burying the bodies.

Really, Annabella. Canadians don't lock their doors? Not sure where you're getting your info, but thanks for the laugh.

Really hope they catch this guy soon.

Twice in two days we (Canada) were on CNN's home page. Just wish it had been for something fabulous instead of something horrifying.

the guy just is arrested by the police in Berlin (Germany)

Yup we also drive our dogsleds to work and we can't lock our doors because we live in igloos.

No, seriously, we have locked the doors to my house every day of my life, and I am 31 years old so I think Canadians learned about locks quite a few years ago.

@Char ad @surfer, the no locked doors comments is actually a reference to something Canadians said in Fahrenheit 9/11. The Canadian interviews from that movie were the first thing I thought of when I saw the news about the shootings. So much for Canadian gun laws...

(I don't mean to make light. They are both awful stories. I think I preferred @Sue Ellen Mischkey's Mad Hatter story from last week.)

That Michael Moore thing drove me nuts. I lock my doors but I live in a large-ish city. My family in Newfoundland don't lock their doors. Just like Americans in big cities lock their doors but the rural town dwellers don't.

I think Michael Moore is an idiot who would rather be part of the story than tell the story. But I digress...

He got caught. I think Canada is good and embarrassed after this past weekend.

Michael Moore likes to tell personal stories... about himself.

Actually the rural people are most likely to lock their doors these days... a rural home with no nearby neighbors in sight is a sitting duck for robbery, especially with all the meth heads.

The nationality of horror is , well, horrible and global. Matters not whether it originates from Canada, USA or elsewhere.

Agree with @BrendaLove.

@Anita_mark - holy shit. I have family in Newfoundland too. What part are yours in?

After this and the shooting the other night I've had knots in my stomach ever since, as I have to travel to Ottawa next week. Oh, what timing.

The photos of this guy with the short blond hair makes him look like Ryan Phillipe. LoL.

Actually, to be honest, I often forget to lock my door. AND I live in Montreal. *shiver*

To be honest, Candians have it damn good. They weren't raised with the constant fear and loathing of the "other" like most Americans. Yes, they have horrific crimes just like the rest of the world, but they don't have the constant gun deaths like we have had in Seattle for the past year. And they don't think it's all about "them". It's weird how we Americans think someone is always after us - it's a subtle form of narcissism.
