Kim Kardashian/Oprah Interview Was Worse Than I Thought
Has Oprah ever asked any kind of question that could possibly be considered anything but a softball question? I understand she loves to suck up and considers Kneepads her personal bible, but this was ridiculous. She just let Kim Kardashian just answer and Oprah just nodded and nodded and I honestly could only watch a few second before I would have to change the channel. I would eventually come back, but each time was more and more painful. I was right last week when I said that Oprah would do anything for ratings at this point and has no more fight in her. She will do whatever the publicists want.
Kim says that she was depressed for four months after the marriage and that she never wanted to be seen in public any longer. But, did Oprah then flash a montage of the 148 Twitter images Kim sent out during that period of which 75% were in bikinis or lingerie? Nope. Did Oprah ask her why if things were so bad why is she doing it again? Nope. Did Oprah ask her about getting paid to get married? Nope. Kim wants you to know that she has a place in her heart for Kris and that she loved him desperately but knew the day after she got the big paycheck for marrying him that he was not the right one.
Oprah can't help it. She is so over OWN. She is dreaming about living in Santa Barbara and giving up.

Maybe Oprah's lack of KartTRASHian viewing hindered her ability to dig deep. I have an imaginary acid bath list and Kimmie is in one of the top spots. i can't stand her.

ReplyDeleteSomehow, I knew that when she sank to the depths of interviewing KK and family, she was desperate. I didn't think this would bode well. I want to feel sad for Oprah, but she has her million$ to keep her warm. I have a throw.

ReplyDeleteI don't get it. Oprah has more money that should could spend in a lifetime. She's gotten tons of acclaim, zillions (mostly women) are bonkers for her, so much so that nothing she does will ever tarnish her in their eyes.

People would love that, and far more would tune in.
I would pay $50.00 on pay-per-view if KimK would sit down and have an interview with someone who would actually ask the hard questions, like Anderson Cooper, or Shep Smith, or one of the 60 Minutes people. You hear that Comcast? Dish? $50.00 cash. And I bet there's plenty more like me.

I would think that if you had plenty to hide yourself, you wouldn't dare set a precedent by asking anything too risky, lest the tables were turned.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what is going on with Oprah. After her show ended, I thought she would become a full time philanthropist, adopt a black baby, do some specials here and there. But no, she does this. She just seems so desperate. Maybe it's an ego thing. She just can't go away. It's always better if you just end your career on a high note, but this trickery is really starting to tarnish Oprah's legacy.

Oprah's monstrous ego cannot handle the fact that her OWN network hasn't catapulted her into the stratosphere of revered, worshiped global leaders. But even I didn't think she would have stooped so low as to interview the Kuntrashians. Oprah has officially lost all her credibility. CONGRATULATIONS!

Oprah needs to be in the public eye the same as the Kardouchiennes. That's what I took from this. I can't imagine what real Oprah fans must be feeling right now but perhaps the same people who kept Oprah going are keeping the Kardouchiennes going. It sure as hell isn't anyone I know.

ReplyDeleteNow, I couldn't even locate OWN on my television. I think she screwed the pooch when she left her time slot and target audience behind. And yeah, I agree with those of you who said she thought she could go rule the world with her own network. Get over yourself already.
Anybody remember when she finally went on Letterman for the first time? He was so gracious and interested in her as a person, and she was distant and quite impressed with herself. I remember his self-depreciating style made her look quite small in comparison.
Well, I dont think much of letterman or oprah, so we'll call that a draw. I know she pissed because he called her fat ir something, right? Well that wasnt very nice, but he isnt nice and ur both still billionaires, so stfu.

ReplyDeleteThe tipping point for Oprah was that Ralph Lauren interview she did the final season of her show. She was so amazed that a little black girl from Mississippi was being welcomed to the ranch and treated like family.

Hell at this point GAYLE is a better interviewer than Oprah.
When I think of all the real good this woman has accomplished in her career with charity and knowledge, it's kind of sad that she chose this path. But we all watched it, and when I was watching it I was thinking about the comments here and what they would be, lol.
If the Kartrashians are REALLY wanting a shitload of money they should set up a carnival tent and charge people $5 to hit them with a cream pie. Tell me you wouldn't pay to do that.
