I'm kind of concerned about the ones who wiped out & went over the edge (except for the swimming pool girl; looks like she was fine), and the way some of those ankles were bending, I'm thinking there were some nasty sprains, too. Not only are the damn shoes way too high to begin with, but the soles are usually rather slick; combine that w/well--polished floors some of the time, and the too-fast pace they have the girls going, and it's no wonder some of them fall on their asses. (Been there, done that, had the crutches to prove it, but never as a runway model...)
Wow its me everytime I wear heels:/
hilarious.
Knowing damn well I would be slipping and falling all over the place on surfaces like that in shoes like those, I have to say, I kind of want to hug them all and feed them french fries!
That's hysterical. Wish I knew what was going on with the blonde ponytail/red dress woman... she walked that way for so long! How was she doing that?!
OMG OW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel sorry for them. The one who kept wobbling reminded me of that famous film of a racehorse who broke its ankle and they ended up having to shoot it. Did they shoot that model backstage, too?
:-O
Hahahaha!! Too funny not to laught!
I'm sorry. This made me laugh uncontrollably. The last few weeks have been some of the crappiest of my life and that was a laugh that I seriously needed. Especially the chick in the red dress and long blond ponytail that did the newborn horse walk for what i think could be a record (or ankle) breaking period of time. And the one hit by the pendulum. Ahhhh... sweet laughter. I have missed you.
Discoflux sorry things have been shitty for you. Believe me, I feel ya. Laughter really is the best medicine, right?
Hilarious! My favorite was 1:05. She was so exuberant and then ... Whoooooaaaa! *SPLASH*
I second the uncontrollable laughter. The one who fell through the paper floor and disappeared was priceless. The eternally wobbly ankle one was just like a newborn foal.
Tears in eyes I am laughing sooo hard. Must save for furture ha-ha.
OMG, that was so funny! I agree, the newborn foal was just hilarious.
Oh shit, I'm still giggling.
I am notorious for falling on my ass, so now I know everyone else IS laughing at me, lol.
1-If their blood sugar was good and if they had some damn calcium in their bones from having a diet not filled with red bull and dope-I would not be so concerned.
2-Those shoes were bad enough in the 80's and it is a miracle that those of us who wore them then are not all rolling around in lunch room lady/ortho shoes or a wheelchair.
Give them a hug and a milkshake indeed!
okay - their only job in the world is to be able to walk. Seriously, I would think they'd practice a bit more! The only ones I feel sorry for are the one that got hit by the pendulum and the one in the cat-in-the-hat body covering thing. The rest need to learn how to walk in platforms, whether slippery surfaces or not.
The gong one was from America's Next Top Model. (And maybe the staircase one as well?) Tyra loves to set up bizarre runways to try to get them to fall.
And then yells at them and shames them when they do.
I found a compilation of falls extracted exclusively from America's Next Top Model!

Tyra is absolutely crazy, but I must confess that I laughed.
oh my gosh thats awful...tsk..its like mind control sorry, its just weird...and the last model as the cat in the hat? tsk,,very degrading im sorry...yes i did laugh at times..ouch
I felt so guilty every time I laughed out loud.
That didn't stop me from doing it over and over again, though.
^^???????
It's no wonder they fall in those shoes. I don't understand how anyone can wear them and walk normally.
