Mary Kennedy Kicked Out Of Grave

The Kennedy family just keeps getting better. Over the years you really don't think there is a way for them to outdo what they have done before, but the find a way. This one though? Playing with the dead and moving remains is never a good thing. Right now Mary Kennedy could be hovering over Robert Kennedy and Cheryl Hines while they are in bed and making sure no amount of Viagra will ever be enough. Anyway, Mary was buried in a Kennedy family burial area. Apparently Robert didn't like that idea and had her body moved as far away as she could be moved and still be in the same cemetery. Nice huh? Where she was surrounded by a lot of people, now she is all by herself close to the street and some houses. He messed with her when she was alive and I think contributed to her suicide, and now Robert Kennedy is messing with her after death too.

  1. Well this one competes with John Edwards' non-headstone.

  2. Typical Kennedy class.

  3. Susan, you're so right. What is it with the Kennedys and the way they treat women? Jebus!

  4. This is seriously sad. Does he not think that perhaps their children might want to be buried with both their parents. It's funny how he's acting like she's so evil and hurt him when he was the one making her life hell. I understand that people divorce, but his behaviour seems to beyond the norm.

  5. So where do her children get to be buried? Or are they tainted also now?. Disgusting

  6. You know, I understand that you don't love her, Robert. But at one point you did; you married her & had children together. The woman is dead & died alone & in a tragic way. You got what you wanted; and you can't let yet just rest in peace? It really matters this much?

No words. I don't understand people like him at all. Robert & John Edwards should just be put on a raft & sent out to sea. I'm tired of them both.

    1. F'ing Kennedy's. Seriously.
And I hope that she haunts the hell out of them. Every time he lays head to pillow, may he never rest.

  7. Is this another half-baked story like the Edward's tombstone?
If it's even true, there's probably a reason she was moved. It won't be as exciting as "Robert Kennedy is evil", which is why you'll probably never hear about it!

  8. I don't care for the Kennedys'. For having so much money they are classless.

  9. what an ass. just doesn't know when to quit and let things go. true, though, that there could be more to the story.

  10. I have no idea if this woman was nice, mean or in-between but there was this hugely biased sham article in Newsweek that just blasted this woman that made me wonder who was paid off at Newsweek to publish it. I started the article without any knowledge of the couple.

Her family wanted her buried near them - why didn't he just let them have her?

  11. The report I heard said that the body was moved because RK was purchasing an additional 50 graves sites around it, so that she could be surrounded by her family.
It could be a very generous gesture, or he could be an ass, I guess it depends on what you want to believe.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Second that Ms Cool! RK can't let it go and must have control over her forever...

Kennedy and Edwards! What fine classy men we have here in the States. I'm feeling very stabby now after all these shit men stories.

When I read about this stuff, I wonder aloud about lady power. What would happen if all the women got together and just said no thank you. We need stronger female role models so women don't get sucked in by a "white knight" that later treats then like shit. WWCTD?

  13. This after he fought her family for the right to bury her in Hyannis. The Kennedys have a tight PR operation; they know better than this. There should have been an announcement and an explanation -- if that "50 sites" story isn't a load of stuff.

  14. I don't understand why they didn't wait until some of the rawness of this episode had diminished for everyone's emotional sake.

No matter, it was a douchy thing to do. Let the poor woman rest in peace. Make it sadder is the revelation that she tried to stop herself from hanging at the last moment.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Redheat - where did you read that (about the hanging)?

    ReplyDelete
  16. He fought to have her buried there, her family wanted her to be buried in their plot.......this man is a total shit.

  17. Wow. That is low down. Poor Mary.

  18. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/robert-f-kennedy-jr-failed-proper-permits-move-wife-mary-richardson-kennedy-grave-article-1.1113042

The latest is he didn't have the proper permits needed to have her moved.

@Redheat - my mother is currently married to a forensic pathologist and he said that often people that hang themselves are found with their fingers under the rope around their neck because they are holding the the rope at their neck when they jump/kick the chair away. My mother, the original anti-Kennedy club president, brought it up to hubby and he didn't think it really meant she tried to stop the suicide.

  19. @mikey - maybe she was trying to stop the MURDER.

    Just kidding. Kind of.

  20. dia papaya - there is a matriarchial society in China. I think you would enjoy reading about it. It is as you described.

  21. I thought possibly murder too from the beginning. Or an "assisted" suicide if you will. Aren't there rules in the Catholic Church that if you commit suicide you can't be buried on consecrated ground or something like that? Suicide is a huge taboo to Catholics isn't it. In as far as you can't get last rites or whatever keeps you in good graces after your death. Suicide would have been a huge factor for those who are very devout. So, who knows the real story but this story seems full of holes (if you will...)

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Church has softened their views on suicide and burials. They recognize people who commit suicide are troubled.

  23. @Ms Cool - I think NY Daily News? I'm skimming news all day, it starts to run together.

@Mikey - I can see that. Having been the brink myself, I can see where someone could easily change their mind.

It's just a very tragic story and I don't know what in the hell Robert Kennedy is thinking, he doesn't seem to have an ounce of sensitivity in him.

  24. Steppy you are such a positive person. I swear I hope you stay that way, always believing the best in people. I'm jaded as hell. I've been reading Hollywood gossip way too long and reading freakin' Kennedy crap for a whole lifetime. Nothing a Kennedy does would surprise me.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Time for Churches and society to lose the stigma about Suicide. Imagine the pain one has to be in to take their own life.
Robert may be vile, but only the person who chooses to die is responsible.
Where he should be held accountable is whether he stopped loving her or not, he did care enough to marry her have children with her.
As a part of her life, however remote he wanted to be at that point, he could have stepped up and realize she was sick not just a "bitter ex-wife".
    Money spent on L
awyers and threats could have been spent attempting to save his children's mother.

  26. Most of the third- and fourth-generation Kennedys are living sober, quiet, faithful loves, many of them working hard as public interest advocates of one sort or another. The stereotype that they're all philandering sots is unjustified.

This entry sounds like one of the ghosties wrote it.

  27. What kind of person would do something like this. He didn't have the balls to bury her away from the family plot, so he digs her up and moves her? I agree he tormented her to death. What a guy.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Idk why he is made out to be the villian in sll thus. Mary had serious psychcological problems. Robert tried to involve her family, but they didnt want to hear it. From what i read, he bought extr plots fir her bio family, or mb thr kids will want to be buried with her. I know and agree kennedy's crude and tasteless, but i dont see this move as that.

  29. What a complete and total pig.

  30. As far as the whole "trying to stop the suicide" thing.. isn't that just human instict though? To try and get yourself out of it? I read somewhere that out of the 200ish people who've jumped off the golden gate bridge only a handle fun of people actually survived the fall (due to hitting the water and at exactly the right angle and not crushing everyone bone and organ in their body)every single one of the survivors regetted jumping the second they jumped. But again, isn't that human instict?

  31. hand full of people*

    ReplyDelete
  32. jeebus.. I really need to proof read today my grammar is absolutely atrocious! I meant to say *INSTINCT both times. =/

  33. @mikey - thanks for the info. I agree with your comments about the Catholic Church's stance on suicide.
@BrendaL - Thank you. I do try and look for the best in people. It may be silly, but I do believe that there is good in everyone. Sometimes it may be hard to find, but it you look hard enough, you'll find something good!

  34. please read the Importance of Being Kennedy. fantastic read by the grand daughter of the former Nanny to the Kennedy clan JFK, RFK etc.

    You won't like them much.

  35. Thanks for the recommendation Jax!

  36. So after the Kennedy Machine's attempt to make him look like a victim and the dead woman look like a fiend, the grieving widower did his best to destroy all that hard work and reveal himself for the rat he is. What do his children think of him now?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I don't know whether he did it because he was being generous or because he was being a dick.

Either way, at this point, I seriously doubt she cares.

  38. Cheryl Hines: This is your future. A man with such hatred for his deceased wife that, even though she is no longer a burden to him, has her dug up and moved to the shoulder of the road. She's dead, sweetie. What is it that you think he will give YOU that is worth having? He doesnt care if people hate him. Sociopath. I bet he goes out there one day and shits on her grave, and Im not sure how hyperbolic I feel about that because the rage he is showcasing is beyond rationality.

  39. Danielle, there is a documentary about the people who have jumped off the GG Bridge, with a few survivors. It's very interesting, but very depressing. Most did regret it right away if I recall.

  40. i read somewhere that the week she died she had to bum $20 from a friend to buy groceries. i was so pissed when he spoke at her funeral. this is just disrespectful. he probably just thought no one would find out. dirtbag!

    ReplyDelete
  41. So which Tier 3 Kennedy Cousin gets to be the next person buried in that plot?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Jax, that is a novel.
It's a fictitious diary of an equally fictitious Kennedy nanny.

Any serious book about Joe Kennedy Sr will show where the coldness of this clan came from. Quite fascinating for younger readers who just know the name through the rags.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I want to know why he was one of the first people to find her, what were his whereabouts when the act occurred, and why she died with her fingers under the rope.

A Kennedy committing a murder isn't so far fetched you know.

May the poor woman/mother, Rest in Peace.

  44. This just doesn't sit right. One days his kids will be old enough to read about this on the net. RIP Mary!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ok...an I'm gonna say it....look at the pics from her funeral. The way he has his hand on his eldest daughter's waist just reminds me of the guy w/the step daughter (played by the dad from Poltergeist -I think) in The Devils Advocate.

I'm not saying anything is going on, but I am saying that that's what the pic brings up in me every time I see it, and from day one (AND the kid is the spitting image of a young Mary).

    ReplyDelete
  46. @1Jazzimom - the kids are not toddlers, they are teens.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I've always felt old Joe made a deal with the Devil at some crossroads to get legitimacy (for a bootlegger) and the presidency and the family is still paying. I don't know much about the rest of the Kennedy's, and if they truly are quietly unsung (like I imagine Caroline and John would have been if they could have been) but the stories that have come out of that clan are just horrendous. This makes what 4 generations of pain?
