Olympic Medal Watch
I'm hoping it will update and stop showing the results from the last summer Olympics.

I'm routing for you, Enty, during these Olympic games. Please remember to pace yourself, and stay hydrated. We need you in top blogging form.
What's with that image? It says that 958 medals have been awarded, with 0 remaining.
I want to add a fun filled fact about hydration. If your pee is darker than a pale yellow, you need to step it up on your water/green tea consumption. That is my Olympic moment.
And if your pee is dark red you really need to lay off the beetroot!
What if you have rainbow pee? Not that I have that issue...I remember it from a Dead Milkmen song wayyyyy back in the day.
Why can't they just show things live on TV! Yahoo keeps spoiling things. Just because you don't say who wins in the headline, you basically give it away with the wording, assholes.
I would rather watch swimming on my nice tv instead of my little computer.
I love the Olympics but I hate the stupid delay. I know the women's gymnastics will be spoiled somehow no matter how much I try to avoid it.
Hope solo rips brandi chastain on facebook and twitter
Wow Phelps just got served by Ryan. Did not expect that.
Archery. Ouch. One point
F1 tomorrow. thank Jesus
i know!! why couldn't they show the swimming live?! they're showing stupid volleyball and i got on twitter and the swimming 400m was ruined for me!
Woah - Phelps got served? Must find more coverage.
those are the 2008
Phelps 4th pl...shocking!
Phelps 4th pl...shocking!
And if you're peeing real red, congratulations you just passed a kidney stone!
Swimming is going to be interesting.
If u guys want to stream the Olympics, or any sport in the world live, go to www.hahasport.com and pick a link. It always has many to goose from
Yeah u know how sometimes when u comment here in an iphone it freeze all of a sudden n ur too lazy to retune it even though u end up typing a longer explanation?
That's my point. I don't want to stream live on my computer. I want to watch them on my larger, better TV screen. NBC is stupid for not showing the events as they happen. It is almost impossible not to be spoiled to results.
Jane, can you hook your computer up to your tv? If the tv is a newer model you should be able to do so with a cable...hdmi maybe? Does anyone else know?
We need more fake blinds enty!
Well yeah, NBC are dicks and I hate watching on my pc too. I watched the opening ceremonies live on my 17" hidef monitor but for some reason, and does anyone else have this problem, I just can't stay focused on it like I can on my tv which is about 10 feet away and not that big. I'm watching it now and I totally cried during parts that I saw yesterday but couldn't focus on my monitor. At least #NBCfail is trending on twitter so they must know how angry we are. Just be angry and stream even though it's not as good so that you don't miss anything. And because NBC still sucks for not showing things live and we see spoilers on the internet :(
So who loves the Olympics? What events/countries do you get excited for? Any hot athletes you'd like to point out? What was your fav part of the opening ceremony? Here is the playlist
opening ceremony playlist!
here's where I cut and paste from every time I share a link http://www.ehow.com/how_8218818_make-urls-clickable.html
I am gutted for Mark Cavendish that he didn't get a medal today. I think he was the favourite for gold and he missed out in 2008 too.
I don't know what it is about the race that gets him - he is supposedly the fastest cycler in the world.
A lot if people were really rooting for him, there was even a little section on him in the build up to the Olympics and he just seemed so lovely. :(
Oh I missed cycling today! I only caught a little of the womens soccer while I was in class. Almost forgot, did anytone else find the healthcare skit and the giant baby weird?
@kats beyond weird. Danny Boyle is smoking the good stuff. Agree, NBC coverage sucks. Very ADD. Can't figure out what's on, when. With all due respect, beach volleyball is not high on my watch list.
Awwwwww, Sian, I think that Cavendish was burnt out from the epic Tour de France. Two massive races wit just six days between the two was probably too mch pysically.......and psychologically. Hope he rallies from this disappointment.
And I am probably burned out as my spelling will attest!
@ katsm0711 Thanks for that link! I'll practice:)
Im not surprised at all. hurt his performance with all that marijuana...i say go ryan!
My biggest problem so far has been Bob Costas. The man is really bringing the happy. During the parade of nations he mentioned or alluded to the turmoil in every country, talking about the various occurrences of genocide in different countries. During the USA indoor volleyball game versus South Korea he mentioned how the coach's father in law was murdered before the last Olympics. Seriously Bob! Viewers are trying to enjoy this. It's a time for all of these countries to come together for the celebration of sport and human accomplishment and you want to dredge up every negative thing. Bob, get a Guinness or a hooker and cheer the fuck up.
"Marijuana-loving herpetic sex-enthusiast Michael Phelps." That's how I wanted the announcers to introduce him.
Except for the herpetic part he that makes him sound pretty appealing.
I hear they brought 70,000 condoms to the meet.
