But it's them or my New Rocks which would surely be instant death. So I judge anyone wearing boots when they needn't be. Eurgh.

ReplyDeleteOhhh Billybob you took me down memory lane. Richard Beckinsale was one of my first crushes. I loved him so much in The Lovers, not so much in Porridge because as much as I loved Richard I loathed Ronnie Barker. But I loved him and Paula Wilcox in The Lovers so much.

I am DYING over the over the knee boots in the SUMMER. Put that shit away till end of Sept, esp in LA. I can't stand to see pap pics of girls (looking at you Brit) in shorts and Ugg boots too. Walking home from work today, it was 29 (84f) but no humidity so very tolerable but still, warm. I saw a girl wearing boots with her shorts but what was extra hilarious were the boots. They were clearly winter boots. I have tons of leather boots but most are not meant to be worn outside in the snow where they could get damaged; this girl's boots were that rubbery "leather" that can withstand salt stains and are waterproof.

I can confirm that Roseanne is in fact on an '80's waterbed because I had the same one. I recognize the etched mirror and the lamp. Yep, I admit it!
ReplyDelete....actually I never had any back problems with that bed and slept like a baby in it. Not until I insisted that we update to a fashionably tufted headboard and normal bed did the back problems surface. Dare I say I miss that fugly but wonderful thing :-(
