Backstreet Boys on national television. Who would have thought that would ever happen again?
This is Burning Man.
This is a woman who counts down the days to Burning Man.
Britney Spears goes for the bikini wearing librarian look.
In other bikini news, Lisa Vanderpump and her husband look pretty damn good.

  2. I can't believe how rocking Naomi Campbell's body is. She looks amazing. God I wish I didn't have cellulite!

  3. Lisa Vanderwhatever wears het bikini thay way to cover the tummy-tuck scar....

I want to see the rest of Britney's house: white fish tank, fake grapes, silk flower medley; it looks like she & my grandma have the same taste in home decor.

    1. @popnursing- tummy tuck scars are placed in the same spot as a c-section (I've had both). They aren't large incisions and really low on the pubis bone.

  4. Britney always has this plastered on smile all the time. Heavily medicated. Heavily.

  5. Naomi might have a rocking body but her attitude is something to think about. She is an ugly person from the inside.

  13. Holy hell Brit Brit looks amazing!! the wonders of how a young body can bounce back. Lisa looks pretty damn good too.
I live in Reno, which is the last civilized (relatively speaking) stop on the way to Burning Man. I have never been, but have seen enough Burners out and about at Whole Foods and Trader Joes to last me a lifetime.

This is how I know I'm old: both Burning Man and that commercial with the Bud Light cruise look like hells on earth to me. Yuck. The only thing worse? A Disney cruise.

I'm with Popnursing -- I don't knw if that's BritBrit's house or not, but if so, she has the same taste as someone's nana in Boca.

  20. does anyone know WTH Better off single is talking about in the other post ?> i went through some of the posts from 2 days ago and i'm clueless.......

  21. Idk which post, but I never know what Better off single is talking about anyway.

  22. What was the blood diamond story? (I guess I should just google it.) I always thought Naomi Campbell's bitchiness was sort of par for the course for supermodels.

  24. Regardless of the topic of the story, BettorOffSingle talks about how evil whore women and girls get ahead unfairly in the world through their powers of hypnosis, which is how they came to dominate the career sector of office administration.

Unless they themselves are also the just victims of their own malicious job-hunting ways, or of other criminal hypnosis masterminds, that is.

Also, do not call him a nutjob because he will sue you for $82742.93 as you are defaming his anonymous handle that actually references someone else entirely; and that's not playing fair anyway because he's overweight and disabled with poor eyesight.

He's a tad cuckoo, in other words. It's unknown whether or not he's the same person behind this video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8TR1ST4EQQ&feature=plcp

In which the narrator details his exploits bagging his female peers for 20 years- no, 30, if you count the years he worked FOR HIS MOM. Also, he brags about how one of the women he "bagged" happened to be his boss. And that by "bagged," he meant going out for coffee. They never had sex or anything, he admits. I wonder how many women in this book know they were considered bagged under these broad definitions.

I'm not sure how bad a guy has to be at bagging women in order to think this video guy has all the answers, or if BettorOffSingle IS the video guy himself, but either way it is fucking HILAROUS.

I'm not sure when BettorOffSingle went to the dark side regarding 9-11 office whores and other unfortunate incidents. One should probably ask his mom.

  25. OT but I just recently found out about and listened to the lead singer of LFO's (Rich Cronin) interview w Howard Stern about Lou Pearlman....and holy crap. Sheds a lot of light on young stars and child predators. I can't look at all those boy bands the same. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

  37. I agree with AKM - Brit has been looking good. I see no evidence of the crazy eyes in any recent pics. I hope her life is finally on track.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Tex - have you ever been on a cruise? I haven't but I share your sentiment (well, your sentiment about a Disney cruise) that it looks like a very bad idea. Like you're stuck in a crowded, floating mall for five days or whatever. Think I'd rather go back to Alto Frio. Maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Frufra. I haven't been able to put my finger on what is different about Brit. Eureka moment when I read your post. I hope so, she always seemed sweet.

  40. Can I just say I love everyone who ignored Better Off Single. His incessant posts in that other thread reminded me of The Simpsons episode where Lisa makes the doll and Bart is jumping around in the background screaming "LOOK AT ME!!! LOOK AT ME!!!" No one was biting, it was awesome. Then he started addressing his comments to specific people and they still wouldn't bite. I loved it.

Brit looks great. I didn't notice the furnishings until Popnursing pointed it out. So tacky.

Hi, Frufra. No, I've never been on a cruise, even though they leave like every 20 minutes or so from Galveston, apparently. The Bud Light cruise just looks like a techno-music-inundated floating barge of vomit and STD's to me, and the Disney cruise looks horrible because I hates the chirrens.

A friend of mine took her mom on one of the four-day Galveston-Mexico-Galveston cruises for the mom's 60th b-day a couple of years ago. She said it was actually a lot of fun, if you don't take anything too seriously. And this friend of mine is a pretty cool chick, so make of that what you will ...

  53. Brit looks super relaxed. And amazing!

AlexT that summary of BoS was brilliant.

  54. A friend of mine (who is as crazy as the day is long) went to Burning Man a couple of years ago and came home talking about how everyone there was TOTALLY INSANE. I can't imagine the vibe as everyone ramps up to burn stuff. Yikes. Not for me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. @lite
I lived in Fernley for two years as a kid.

  56. Burning Man appeals to me not in the least. For one thing, take that campground picture- I would be the idiot who would find myself wandering around at about 2:00 when it's getting dark, and my camper's located at 7:00.

Also, the idea of washing desert dust out of my orifices and crevices for the next 6 months straight does not sound like my idea of fun. I'm fastidious.

    ReplyDelete
  57. for those of you who have never been on a Disney Cruise: they are awesome. As an adult, you RARELY see the kids. There are huge adult-only areas and I understand that there are tunnels in the ship where the kids travel from place to place to not disturb the adults. Yes, there are kid areas, but I was shocked at how relaxing the cruise was (in the Caribbean). I've been on other cruise lines (Mediterranean and Alaska) and Disney tops my list. The service is impeccable.

  58. I went to grad school at UNR and lived in Fernley 2003-2005! 5 time Burner! :D

  59. @Whocaresnow- that's good to know, I have had 3 c sections and despite being slim I have the 'shelf/ledge' above my scar that no amount of running or core work can completely remove. been debating a tummy tuck and told I can do the smaller one with a revision vs the full.

As for the bikini pics- am I the only one that thinks Britter's looks odd? IDk if it's that she's holding it all in or she's had some procedure but her mid section just looks off to me..

    ReplyDelete
  60. Naomi's hairline just depresses me on so many levels. She needs bangs at all. Damn. Times.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Brit does not look great. It's like she's got the parts right, but the whole is lacking. Flat stomach-check. Nice tan-check. Big smile-check. But put them all together and she doesn't look authentically happy or serene.

Maybe she's anxious about appearing normal & well, esp in light of her ongoing legal battles to regain control of her life. Maybe she's trying so hard to look good physically, but she's missing her inner light, or something.

Not a hater--I genuinely wish her well.

  62. @donna Burners are not hippies. WE have jobs so we can have better toys. Burning Man is an amazing experience and if you can't make it to Blackrock (it is a huge commitment financially, physically, etc...) there are burner communities throughout the world who throw burning man events throughout the year. I have personally been to Seattle, Austin, Missouri, and Blackrock Nevada. Most of us have 9-5 jobs but just want to express ourselves in creative outlandish ways in a forum of likeminded ppl. (Nevemind the civic and green responsibilities). Please don't judge a group from the outside in.
Thanks Enty for highlighting someplace close to my hear. I didn't get to go this year as I am caring for my ill father.
    Here is how we celebrate:
    Ten Principles of Burning Man
    Radical Inclusion
Anyone may be a part of Burning Man. We welcome and respect the stranger. No prerequisites exist for participation in our community.

    Gifting
Burning Man is devoted to acts of gift giving. The value of a gift is unconditional. Gifting does not contemplate a return or an exchange for something of equal value.

    Decommodification
In order to preserve the spirit of gifting, our community seeks to create social environments that are unmediated by commercial sponsorships, transactions, or advertising. We stand ready to protect our culture from such exploitation. We resist the substitution of consumption for participatory experience.

    Radical Self-reliance
Burning Man encourages the individual to discover, exercise and rely on his or her inner resources.

    Radical Self-expression
Radical self-expression arises from the unique gifts of the individual. No one other than the individual or a collaborating group can determine its content. It is offered as a gift to others. In this spirit, the giver should respect the rights and liberties of the recipient.

    Communal Effort
Our community values creative cooperation and collaboration. We strive to produce, promote and protect social networks, public spaces, works of art, and methods of communication that support such interaction.

    Civic Responsibility
We value civil society. Community members who organize events should assume responsibility for public welfare and endeavor to communicate civic responsibilities to participants. They must also assume responsibility for conducting events in accordance with local, state and federal laws.

    Leaving No Trace
Our community respects the environment. We are committed to leaving no physical trace of our activities wherever we gather. We clean up after ourselves and endeavor, whenever possible, to leave such places in a better state than when we found them.

    Participation
Our community is committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play. We make the world real through actions that open the heart.

    Immediacy
Immediate experience is, in many ways, the most important touchstone of value in our culture. We seek to overcome barriers that stand between us and a recognition of our inner selves, the reality of those around us, participation in society, and contact with a natural world exceeding human powers. No idea can substitute for this experience.

  63. there are an awful lot of brit pix w/ glasses on. and i think its to hide dead-eyes. as for her home decorating skills; money can't buy taste. but for some reason, when stars have tacky homes, i'm ALWAYS surprised. like, "huh. you could have ANY real flower arrangement in the world. and yet you choose that. huh".

  64. So because Naomi threw some cellular phones to her assistants some of you choose to deny her having THE best body among all the women posted here?
    Yeah right!

She killed them all with her perfect body, bald hairline and stuff!

  65. Re: David Arquette: What the hell is he thinking? This is really really bad patterning for a child. David obviously didn't want his parenting time to interfere with his partying time.

His shirt is messed up, he's got the glassy eyes, and his daughter is trailing along, having a good time, which is the bad part...At that age, it's really bad for them to associate pleasure with alcohol.

The kids are only little once, so if he wants his daughter to remember his in a healthy way, he should be taking her to kids things or clothes-shopping, anything but an adult club.

I know what I'm talking about, because I was a functioning alcoholic parent for several years, until I finally made the (right) choice.
