ReplyDeleteRIP, Andy, and thanks for the holiday memories...
ReplyDeleteRIP, he had a great run and a super career.
ReplyDeleteRIP.
ReplyDeleteI put several of his Christmas DVDs on my Wish List to order for my mother when I heard his announcement a few months back. We should have gone out to Branson to see him live. Crap.
ReplyDelete"I didn't think he was going to sing "Moon River" and then BAM! second encore!"
ReplyDeleteMine, too, @ luvgossip.
ReplyDeleteOh, what Andy Williams could do with Christmas songs!
I play them all season every Christmas.
RIP Andy. Thanks for the great music and memories.
ReplyDeleteI had such a crush on him when I was a little girl. Remember the scandal when his ex Claudine shot her lover and Andy stood by her? That made me love him even more. He had such a beautiful voice.
ReplyDelete^^^this He was a true class act. RIP, Andy. Have the *sads* today.
DeleteI love that episode of The Simpsons, Ingird! Having Nelson Muntz an Andy Williams fan was great.
ReplyDeleteRIP. He had a lovely voice, and was a true gentleman.
ReplyDeleteSad, sad, sad. Now I'll never get t he opportunity to ask him about Ethel Kennedy.
ReplyDeleteI don't mean this as a rag on Andy, but Branson, Missouri may be the cheesiest place on earth.
ReplyDeleteBless him
ReplyDeleteI know that about Branson. I still wanted to take my mother there to see an Andy Williams show for Christmas. And I think that's sweet, not cheesy.
ReplyDeleteNot cheesy. I live an hour from Brandon and will go visit with my family as long as they like. Honorable not cheesy.,
DeleteRIP, Andy. Your "Moon River" is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice man and a good person. Very sad hearing this news this morning. RIP indeed, Andy.
ReplyDeleteAw. :( I remember his show - he used to have the Osmonds on. I loved Donny for many years, and was even going to marry him until he got a girlfriend. Then I tried to love Jimmy, but it just didn't work. This is why I try not to judge the tweeners and their Bieber thing.
ReplyDeleteRIP Andy. I really liked listening to his Christmas albums. He had a soothing voice, and seemed like such a nice man.
Can't Get Used To Losing You was one of the songs my father and I used to dance to when I was a little girl. He put me on his feet and counted the steps for me and I loved it when he'd dip me. I was just talking to my dad about this song on Sunday and how it was always on his infamous mix tapes for dinner parties back in the day.
ReplyDeleteRIP. Loved that voice.
My husband and I separated three months ago. Moon River was our wedding song. This death will bring us together or keep his heart cold. My heart is broken. I guess no answer is right. But I have to reach out girls. I need strength .
