You know, when I am trying to get someone to go out with me, I try to cut back on the calories for a few weeks and get down to 295. I think it makes me look good. But, after 6 or 7 months when I finally wear someone down enough to get them to say yes to a date, I balloon back up to 325 or 330. According to The New York Post, everyone thinks Blake Lively might be pregnant because she is not watching what she eats like she usually does. Well, yeah, she got married, so was probably starving herself to fit into a dress and it is Ryan Reynolds. He does not have body fat so she probably thought she needed less. Now though, maybe she feels she can relax and eat a meal a day or every other day. It does not mean she is pregnant, although it would explain the number of shotguns at the wedding.

ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is, but this girl just annoys me. Maybe because she seems desperate or that she's above everyone else? Not sure, but I'm wondering how long this will last. Also, why did they get married, didn't he just get a divorce? Strange, but I don't live by Hollywood standards so maybe it is me.

DeleteHis ex-wife has already had two relationships since the divorce, including an affair with Sean Penn while the corpse of her marriage was still warm. He's entitled to move on, too. When you're married to the wrong person, and you both checked out of the marriage months before it ended, there's not much to get over. And maybe he and Blake had an affair while filming that crap movie they made together, so maybe they didn't start their relationship from scratch. Who knows?
Deletemeh, I think since Gossip Girl is winding down she doesn't have to restrict herself to 200 calories a day to get into those ridiculous outfits. I think she just wants to be Mrs. Reynolds and be a happy housewife since she knows that is what killed his and Scarlette's marriage. She won't make that same mistake since she started out as a bootie call that got tossed and got a second chance to land her whale.
ReplyDeleteOne of those magazine websites had a flat out denial that she was. I had rather felt she was too, what w/ the shotgun wedding and all. I kind of like them together and I'm surprised by that, lol.

Oh an as for Ryan he's just her starter husband if his career doesn't get better she will move on and up.
I see her as an opportunist, it's all about her and her future..

I would love for her to be pregnant but most brides I know starve themselves before the wedding so they don't have last minute dress alterations. marchesa designed the dress, can't wait to see it.

@MrWolf: The whale reference was a literary nod to Moby Dick and Capt Ahab (forgive me if I got that character wrong) landing his whale. I believe it can go so far as to mean achieving what you've set out to do. Ryan is hot and I don't think anyone would consider him a whale per se.
