This foreign born B- list mostly television actor has been rising the fame charts the past few months. In a big way. Everyone thinks he is gorgeous and was thrilled that he had found a girlfriend. He didn't though and has had to back way off from being seen with her because his boyfriend was ticked.

I would say Askars has been famous for a while, steadily... Benedict is a good guess, but a bummer. He is super cute. I think he was voted like "most gorgeous" by a British magazine? I don't know, I read the story on the Daily Mail this morning pre coffee...

Now I love ASkars and want him to be mine forever. But I have an actor friend in Nola who met him at a wrap party. He was there with the crew and extras and was by all accounts super cool and awesome. My friend is a gay man and was convinced ASkars was gay. Not bc of anything ASkars did or said though. I laughed it off bc my friend wants (and therefore thinks) that all hot men are gay. I have no idea what to believe.
ReplyDeleteI had a sassy dream with Skarsgaard the other night. The dream didn't end as well as I hoped it would.... but I still keep fantasizing about it the last few days. Ahhhh dreams.
ReplyDeleteI also wouldn't call Cumberbatch a mostly tv actor. Yes he does Sherlock, but his movie roster is just as strong.

ReplyDeleteWhat about the guy who is the new Superman? Henry Cavill? He did the Tudors, which was TV, and probably a lot of British television, but recently has been doing movies.
ReplyDeleteASkars has a few movies under his belt so I wouldn't classify him as a television actor; plus, his long term relationship with Kate Bosworth kinda leaves him out of the gay label. Maybe he is bi? I would still hit it...hard.

ReplyDeleteI don't think this is Benedict Cumberbatch - he's done plenty of movies and has gotten a lot of press for Star Trek/The Hobbit/James Bond casting.

What about Kit Harington from Game of Thrones? He was seen once with his ginger co-star and of course all the fangirls started throbbing. I think he's gay.
ReplyDeleteI like the guess trifecta of Skarsgard, Kinnaman, and Cumberbatch. I think Kinnaman is the answer and here's why:
ReplyDeleteCumberbatch fits but looks like a genetic mutant. I mean, he is weird looking. "Everyone" definitely doesn't think he's gorgeous. And by everyone I mean even Hollywood acknowledges he's kind of weird looking. Definitely raised a red flag as to the recent girlfriend thing--he was just shot with Liv Tyler. I would believe he's gay.
Skarsgard, even if he doesn't cream your Twinkie, has a "hottie" consensus in Hollywood. What doesn't fit for him is the recent girlfriend thing. He hasn't been photographed with anyone (except Olivia Munn, but she is Kinnaman's girlfriend). Last chick we were aware he might be hooking up with was Charlize. That was months ago. That said, Lainey says he is bi and it wouldn't shock me if he had a boyfriend. But there's no one he's been photographed with lately that he would have to back away from being seen with.
Kinnaman is my guess. He's been out and about with Olivia Munn, lots of photos. He's definitely "mostly tv", definitely "gorgeous" and getting a lot of rise on the fame meter b/c of robocop and The Killing. He seems to fit all of the clues. I don't remember him being seen with any gf's prior to Munn. So that's my final answer.
I don't think Joel Kinnaman is backing off from being out with Olivia Munn though. They're still photographed together a lot it seems.
ReplyDeleteMy vote was either Joel Kinnaman (but as Erin said, they've been photographed together recently) or Kit Harington, who I think is more likely. He's been cagey about his personal life (his right to be) and was spotted over the summer with his co-star Rose Leslie and the tabloids said they were dating. Neither one confirmed or denied it and they have not been spotted out and about since.

Harington is an interesting guess, but how has he been "riding the fame charts in the past few months in a big way"? I haven't heard anything about him since GOT ended (besides the photo with the redhead).

His flack even more or less admitted they were just casually screwing. Love him though, as Sherlock at least! Yes he's weird looking, but sexy. Is it his voice?

From the information I know Benedict Cumberbatch isn't gay and was together with his last girlfriend for 10 years. 3. Martin Freeman is married. BUT Benedict Cumberbatch makes a good decoy!
