Blind Items Revealed

December 21, 2006

Talk about freaky. This young actress just cannot get an invitation to anyone’s house. If she wants to party, it has to be at her place. The reason? Whenever she visits other people’s homes, she just cannot leave the valuables alone. More than once she has been confronted by her hosts or other guests as she takes whatever items will fit into her purse. If it were just little things, no one would mind because she does bring the supplies for the party. However, she has a bit more expensive taste than just the odd knick knack. She has a fondness for diamonds and other fine jewelry.

  1. While I am not surprised, nor will anyone be, I had no idea it had been going on at least 6 years. Wow.

  2. I guess "freaky" was the giveaway.

  5. Yeah, looking back on the original post, seems like most got it from the "freaky" clue.

  6. no wonder she couldn't get into any of the Oscar or Golden Globe parties.

  7. But the thing is, six years later, she is being invited places. So after a while, it's kind of hard to have a lot of sympathy for people who knowingly welcome her into their home.

  8. Well color me shocked.

  9. @surfer - doen't sound like she's getting invites from quality people these days :-). Rich, yes; upstanding citizens, no. She's apparently bottomed out and could care less :-(.

  10. How weird is it that back in 2006, LiLo probably wouldn't have been the most obvious subject.

  11. True dat, Frufa!

  12. Winona Ryder might have been a more likely guess about that time.

  13. I have a fondness for diamonds and other fine jewelry also. Can't imagine stealing it though.

  14. Wow, she seams more and more mentally ill. This is serious compulsive behavior.

  15. This trick again? She is really mentally ill.

  16. People usually can't, don't, or won't change...especially when there are no consequences for their actions..

  17. Ryder just shoplifted a bit...there was never a hint of stealing from friends..

  18. And 6 years from now she will still be doing it because there are never any consequences for any of her actions. That is unless she overdoses or kills someone in one her many accidents and finally goes to jail for longer than 82 minutes

  19. From Wikipedia: Kleptomania is the failure to refrain from the urge to steal items, not for reasons of personal use or financial increase. Kleptomania is presently classified in the psychiatric glossary as an impulse control disorder, but was first described in 1816.[1] Conversely, some of the main characteristics of the disorder, which consist of recurring intrusion feelings, incapability to refuse to give in to the urge to carry out the act of stealing and the release of pressure following the theft, propose that kleptomania could compose an obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorder.[2]
The disorder is frequently under-diagnosed and is regularly associated with other psychiatric disorders, particularly anxiety and eating disorders, and alcohol and substance abuse. Patients with kleptomania are typically treated with therapies in other areas due to the comorbid grievances rather than issues directly related to kleptomania.

All that's missing in this entry is a picture of Ms. Lohan. But frankly, this would explain a lot.

  20. Maybe she swaps for party supplies. She can't pawn items.

White Oprah prob pawns and gets to keep her 15% commission

  21. I'm tired of Klepto Dismal and her stupid shenanigans, past and present. Someone go lock her in the same storage unit of obscurity where Jon Gosselin was finally exiled.

  22. I love reading the comments from old blinds.

  23. Absolutely shocking! Sweet, innocent Lindsay?! Next thing you know people are going to say she drives drunk and does drugs!

  24. I'm not surprised and neither is anyone else. What does surprise me is that these people don't press charges and get the little lightfingered asswipe to pay for her crimes.

It's hard to feel sorry for people that just pass this disease along to the next host or hostess.

  25. And yet she's still getting away with this and more..::smh::

  26. Everything about LL is sad, sad, SAD...it's akin to reading all those hospitalization articles about Amy Winehouse in the years before her death.

  27. one of my kids has a friend that takes things. weird things. when they were younger it was barbie clothes, now its bra's. but she has taken jewlery (not the same kind as liho's) and a even a spatula. when i realized what she was doing i told my daughter and she watched her and sure enough, she saw it too. after several "if you do that, you can't come over any more" conversations, she isn't allowed in the house. hasn't been in our house in over a year. another mom pulled me aside to ask about it. i didn't add to the story or even confirm it. you don;t want to be ugly, but DAMN. the girl is old enough now that its not a stage anymore. i think its an attention thing with this girl, would fit lohan as well. sad. i'm not sure how you would/could approach a mom about this. its probably treatable if you start when they are young enough.

  28. At least she is consistent.

  29. Wow. Unbelievable that people would want her in their homes or wherever. I've been rooting for this girl, but damn! Mental illness: it's a bitch!

I have someone close to me who's a kleptomaniac. Weird stuff. She's been doing it for yearssss! Since we were kids. Thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. I'm not sure, but I hope she's stopped; she has health issues now, besides the mental. It is as if they truly cannot help themselves.

  30. I guess we know why Jack Nicholson wouldn't let her into his house.

  31. LOL @ people questioning who Ent is and the inconsistencies in his/her/their writing even back then.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Maybe it's because I'm excited to see the Lifetime movie, but I can totally see her channeling Liz Taylor while stealing the jewelry: "These have always brought me luck . . . WHITE DIAMONDS!"

  33. God these just piss me off so much. This bitch, this bitch. WHAT ELSE?!?!!?

That said, I love any Lindsay articles, she's soooo horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 6 plus years...hmmm 6 years ago this wasn't common knowledge as it is today. Go Enty!

  35. Does anyone know someone who has been cured of this? Is there even a cure? (I guess what I am asking is, will we get the old-old Linds back:)

  36. My bio dad is/was (assuming he's still out there, haven't seen him in 18 years) OCD and an alcholic, who also had a nasty cocaine habit in the 80s. While he wasn't a klepto (well, he did steal my mom's jewelry to pawn, but that was for drugs) he did have other quirks I vaguely remember as a young child. So I can totally see LL having mental illness as the root of her troubles.

BUT - I have no sympathy, because no one has tried to help her. My mom took my bio dad to rehab four times, really tried, before she finally asked him to move out. Has LL ever been to rehab? Therapy? Medication to treat this? It's just sad that her parents are so willing to sacrifice the well-being of their children for money.

Delusional bottom feeders. I loathe them all.

    1. She has been to rehab and was at UCLA. UCLA said she had no mental illness. She's just a self entitled biotch.
