Kneepads Says Amanda Bynes Is Doing Amazing
I'm pretty sure the writers over at Kneepads go to some kind of fairytale finishing school before they can start writing for the magazine. Think Elf, but without the snow. In this world, everyone is doing great and no one ever has a bad day. They interviewed Amanda Bynes and could find nothing negative to say about her or her situation and said she was upbeat and polite and let her get away with a quote when she said she was doing amazing. They let her get away with saying that she does not drink or drink and drive. Fine. The breathalyzer was wrong. What about the photos of you driving and smoking pot? Never asked. This is a Kneepads world and people don't do drugs unless they admit it to the magazine without being asked. Locked up in a dressing room for two hours? Never asked. The magazine can't pry into something like that. Maybe she was having trouble squeezing into a pair of jeans. Let her have her space. The good news for all drivers in Los Angeles is Amanda is supposed to be moving to New York to start a fashion line. I do fear for the rest of the country if she decides to rent a truck and drive it herself.
Who is this Amazing person that Amanda is doing?
ReplyDeleteIsn't "I'm doing amazing" bad grammar?
ReplyDeleteEnty isn't the only one who thinks People is written by publicists:

You'd think at some point they'd become embarrassed.
This picture makes me sad for her. She had so much promise
ReplyDeleteI always thought the biggest stars to come out Nickelodeon at that time would be Amanda Bynes and Kel Mitchell. Where's Kel? He should have been a superstar, he had the charisma, same as Amanda.
ReplyDeleteWho the Hell has agreed to work with her on a fashion line? Have they ever seen her? Certainly they're not going to sell it to us as "high fashion". Well...I guess it would be HIGH fashion in her case.
ReplyDelete*Badum bum PSH!!* Thank you! I'll be here all night! Try the veal and don't forget to tip your waitress.
Also, "starting a fashion line" has officially jumped the shark.
ReplyDeleteIn a related story, Kneepads also recommended crystal meth as a key element to maintaining a healthy set of teeth.
ReplyDeletePR shills! They're just like us!
Kel Mitchell is still around but doing mostly voice work. According to wikipedia, he his married with two children and is a devout christian. Also- he auditioned for SNL but lost out to Kenan Thompson.
ReplyDeleteAmanda had a clothing line a few years back at Steve & Barry's. I only know that because my older daughters were obsessed with her and *had* to buy her clothes.
ReplyDeleteSeeing her go through all this, though, just breaks my heart. She really seemed to have everything going for her. Personally I think it's some sort of mental illness that she's "self-medicating" with drugs and alcohol.
LOL @Barton!
ReplyDeleteI want to find Mr. Amazing for some doing, too!
I read the article they were just quoting what she said and then went over all her fuck ups. They did white wash her getting kicked out of equinox saying she did her make up and walked out no that the instructor kicked her out.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the whole 'everyone is doing great' thing at People magazine. Did you read the Macaulay Culkin article? Obviously not written by a publicist. The cover headline said about his 'sad life', and then there weren't any facts about why his life was sad except that he doesn't work and lives quietly and a lot of innuendos.
ReplyDeleteAwattahey? Cant be serious.
ReplyDeleteI know I mentioned this the other day but not only has ABC Family started showing What I Like About You this week, Nick is showing episodes of The Amanda Show.
ReplyDeleteMan she used to be my HERO. Ask my mom, I was on my Amanda Bynes shit, watched EVERYTHING that had her in it. Dan Schnider really turned her out and just used her and threw her aside like a broken toy.
ReplyDeleteAlso PS, can't believe Keenan beat out Kel. Keenan is so not funny on SNL. At all. But maybe that's a blessing in disguise for Kel. He seems to be doing great. Escaped H-Wood with some dignity.
